Hello there,

I've sent a PM to the moderator about this issue - but don't know the right way to get their help and advice.

I'm constantly unable to view some pages/posts on the Weight Loss thread. I can't even view a post that I just made on my own thread and it seems that for some random reason I can only scroll to the end of a particular post and no further. There's no rhyme or reason as to which posts are blocked nor which pages. At the bottom of the screen there's a message that there is an error on the page and the posts I can't see are usually prefaced with something like this:

I've tried using different machines but from what I can deduce the problem seems to be on the site.

I would be really grateful if this could be resolved as we are all trying to support each other here and I'd hate for anyone to think I was ignoring them, when I actually just can't see their posts to me!

I don't know if anyone from the technical team checks these posts but the situation is becoming ridiculous! The number of threads I open and can't view are increasing exponentially. I can't even move off of page 11 of my own thread, which is similarly frozen.

I really hope you can resolve this soon!

I just copied the script below from a page that's not working for me, hope it helps:

and there seems to be an error with page 11 & 12 on my thread ... I'll leave things alone for now and log off.

Hi there - we think this may be being caused by users posting tickers that are so large they break the formatting of the page. We are looking into a way of blocking these so they don't disrupt the service for other users.

Sorry for being a bit of a nuisance but does that mean my 'ticker' is too big as well as even my posts are being lost/blocked/frozen too (don't know the right terminology). Should I take my ticker off? Why is it only happening to me and my friends can see the same pages in their entirety?

Hi there - no your ticker is fine, it was somebody else's - I have now removed it - can you tell me if you are still having the same problem or if you are now able to access the pages and see your posts.

The problem is persisting- I still can't access the posts; most noteably page 11 & 12 of my thread and page 24 on the thread by Hollybear & others' threads....

Hi Beverley75, really sorry you are having these problems but we can't seem to reproduce them on this end so it's very hard for us to find a solution. We are continuing to look into it and we'll keep you posted if we find out what is going on.

Hi there - our tech team have had a look at the error message you are getting and they think that it is from your wireless/broadband connection rather than to do with the forum itself.

I don't know if this helps but as we can't recreate the problem and so far nobody else is having the same issue it seems likely that it must be linked to your connection. Can you let us know if any further issues develop or you get any other error messages.
