Dear Moderators, i have been made aware by a number of members that they are unable to access the site at all, i dont know whats going on but its quiet enough here already without the regulars being unable to get in.....any ideas on whats going on would be appreciated.

The Tech Team have kindly requested more information on this problem
They would like to know what exactly is preventing the user from accessing the site?
Is it that they cannot see the site itself, or is it that they cannot login via the user authentication??
Relevant screenshots would be enormously helpful if at all possible
If you could be extra vigilant over the week-end and perhaps find out this information from friends who can't get onto the site, we'll be far better placed to have this problem solved
Happy Valentines to you all!

I know some people are suffering from the site being very slow to enter and use, it keeps jumping so that when you try to click on something you end up going into something completely different. I think the worst thing is how slow it is and i am sure it has gone so quiet because people are just giving up. I have also had problems even getting into the site in the first place, either brings up a thing about it not being available or just that nothing happens at all.

We've spent the entire day trying to reproduce your issues, however we haven't been successful at all!
I completely understand how very frustrating this is for all of you and how you're at wits' end, quite probably not bothering to logon at all anymore
However I beseech you all to continue to persevere and can presently only offer you our sincere apologies
It would be extremely helpful if you could post the answers to these following questions (on this thread) the next time any of you experience the problem again;
Date and Time of Error Exact Error Message Recieved Internet Browser Type Internet Browser Verison Action Performed or Page Loading During Error
Thank you very much & our apologies once again

More than happy to do so as long as i am actually able to log-in in the first place. I have tried since 7.06pm to log in thru AOL Version 9 and it wont let me log in at all. It has ghost writing next to the login in which says
Home TV Guide Explore Discovery Games Video Forums A-Z
You can not physically log in. Now i have tried thru Windows Internet Explorer and i am able to log in. Dont know if this helps or not.
I printed off the message i got yesterday evening, but sorry i didnt note the time. Anyway it said@
javax.ServletException: Unable to validate ProxyTicketValidator and then loads of other stuff, if you want me to type it all out i will.

Right the next problem is with internet explorer, when trying to go into a thread it takes you into a completely different one. Whilst typing this it suddenly showed everything i typed in twice??????? It isnt showing any errors so i cant tell you whats happening other than the fact it doesnt take you into what you are clicking on.

Thank you so much for persevering - I'm glad to report that we are closing in on the problem..
The error message capture by yourself has been the greatest lead. If you could kindly send us the complete message, that would be invaluable for us
Also you had mentioned that on clicking certain links you are then directed to a different location on the forums than expected. It would be incredibly helpful to us if you could indicate which actual link you click on and then which exact URL you are taken to
Slowly but surely we are getting there, and none of this would be at all possible without your sole help & efforts - for which we are exceedingly grateful
Thank you very much Karen
Kindest regards

With regard to clicking on the links, it was within the weightloss forum and where we just click on the last persons post to see it, it would bring up the post on whichever thread was above it. This also happened going from the forum list into the weightloss forum. Hope that makes sense, i know what i mean!!

Thank you so much for your help, our Tech Team is now on this full-throttle (thanks to you), and they've asked me to inform you that they may just email you if they have any other specifically related questions
This could be of great benefit as it would now greatly increase the response times for our communications with you
Once again thank you and have a great week-end

Thats fine, they can email or personal message me on the forum, whichever is easiest. Glad to have been of help. The problems have been here so long now that it would be great to get it sorted and perhaps more people will come join in too cause they can actually access the site.
