Hi to all fellow suffers, i to went to the Dr thinking i had piles. Was given the GTN cream and got more migraines than i already suffer from, then had a stretch under a Gen anastetic, that was a waste of time then tryed a further cream which seemed to ease things until my anal area suddenly became so inflamed i had to stop it appears to be worse than ever at the moment. Went back to hospital today and im now waiting to try the botox have read the posts and it seems its a bit hit and miss all the way round so lets hope it it works. The pain and discomfort drives you up the wall as you all say and how do you tell somebody why your tired and feed up when this is the cause. A pain in the A** dosent sound good LOL

I got it almost a year ago, and had it on and off. Initially I used the hemoroide cream, and that kind of helped the first time and then it came back.. Bigger and better! Man, such pain, drives you crazy! It is so sad reading people's posts, so many suffering like this, and it seems like nothing really helps. Good luck with your botox "nutty nurse" and please let us know if it works.
I just read that someone had a surgery, where they actually stitched the fissure and this helped them. After that they never came back, not even whn this person had a child. Now this was in Eastern Europe... I think read that here in Australia they don't do that, only cut the muscle so it is not so tense and they allow the blood flow back into the area so the fissure can heal on its own...
Stool softeners and warm bath, with some rectogisic is making my life livable at the moment, but this truly is such a painful condition... Crazy stuff.
Did anyone else have a good experience with the botox or anything else??
