Hello everyone.

My mother has got a frozen shoulder,her whole arm and hand is stuck literally she can not move it, its stuck in one position and is excruiatingly painful.
being her right arm its worse as she cant eat or do anything which we take for granted.


She had it once before about 7 years ago and it lasted about a year, which is a nightmare, it went eventually as it losened up.

I have never seen my mother in tears from pain and this frozen shoulder is making her scream in agony.

Has anyone ever experienced this or now any one or have any tips on helping it.

Does anyone know or can you recommened any treatment at all.

My friends mum had this before & she was referred for physio by her gp. She used to take co-codomol & ibuprofen for the pain/inflamation aswell, it might be worth asking her gp about the physio if shes in so much pain.

Hope she gets something sorted soon, must be agony for her. Has she tried a tens machine, I was reading something about it helping with the same problem, might be worth a go in the mean time?
