Hi Everyone :-)

I have just finished day 5 on the lighterlife program - started 12th July - (I have previously done the Howards Way diet), and I was thinking today that it would be great to have a place where people on LL and other Food Replacement Diets can offer each other friendship and support on the net.

I have ALOT of weight to lose and a very long journey ahead of me, so I would love to make some friends along the way. Maybe even get to know some people who live near me (Hertfordshire) although anywhere at all would be great.

Sooooo, I decided to start a friendship and support group on MSN in the hope of making contact with other people on the diet. Then this afternoon I watched desperate dieters and they gave out the address for this website so I was wondering whether any of you would be interested in joining the group? It doesn't cost anything, and although I only started the group this morning, I do have plans to make it an interesting and fun place to visit. Also, if anyone is interested in helping me to run the group, that would be fantastic. You can find it at

http://groups.msn.com/LIGHTERLIFE-FOODREPLACEMENTDIETSu...hip/welcomehome.msnw

or email me: k9uk@orchiddesignz.com

Thanks
Storm

Hi guys,

I've started the lighterlife program and I'm on week 3 - although I've had to restart as I fell off the wagon last week.

I found it really hard as I have been really sick with the packs and its hard to adapt with my partner cooking and offering me food all the time (hence the reason I'm in this situation).

How have you guys been handling it? The place I go for my packs don't have men's meetings - so I feel a little stranded.

Hi All, Was surfing to find out about Lipotrim...I have been on the Dieting/Overeating bandwagon for nearly 40 years...once my parents had finished their job of rearing me..at which point I weighed 24 stones..LOL...Got a posting up from April on this site in which a member....RICH...was just starting...and he had gone from 25 to 23 stones in two weeks!.Was wondering if anyone knew how he was getting on? My pharmacist is trying to dish this powder out at 40 a week....but regret my IS don't quite stretch to it...LOL. I live in Leytonstone, and my GP agreed in January this year to allow me to do "Exercise on Prescription"..at my local GLL/Council Leisure Centre for which I pay just 10 a month. Todate, my weight has dropped from 26stones to 23stones...and the loss has been all fat (measured by electronic skin resistance). I'm 6'5", so a long way to go, and it's bloodly lonely work....so if anyone would like a companion/email friend....pop along to Cathall Baths any weekday between 7-9am...I'm the VERY HUMUNGOUS Grizzly bear dripping sweat!!!

albchemist,

I know this thread is on the mens health section but there are loads of messages on the womens health section covering the Lighterlife, lipotrim & Cambridge Diet. Rich is posting on there regularly. You mentioned that you could not afford the 40 for the lipotrim packs, have you considered the cambridge diet as that is only 30 a week. For more in for read the threads.
Congratulations on your weight loss so far, keep up the good work.
