I am marketing head of a FMCG company and over a few weeks I am feeling dizziness, anxiety, and a dreadful sense of doom. After a recent fight at work with Boss over a marketing campaign the situation become severe. Stress is destroying my life. I don’t know what to do. Please suggest.

It often happens with marketing people. Improving sales, reaching targets in time bound period, giving less time to family health problems occur, even I have been through it. I would suggest you to try meditation and visit http://www.theramood.com/ for stress relief patches. I have used these patches and I now feel calm and collected. They are really helpful. And there is a popular saying “work is not the entire pizza, it just a slice of life”. So spend time with yourself. I think you would feel better.

Hey your letting the crappy side of life get to you go for awalk go fishing let it all slide off your back like a duck dose water.I used to let everything get to me .now I spend everyday like it,s my last ,enjoying the little things and diving into the big things.Make your happiness no one else will but when they see you happy and carefree they will want it too. Then eveyone wants to be around you.The answer is not in a pill but in your soul.Remember Old King Coal was a meerrry old soul cause he did'nt give a shit.

Hi there

There is a lot you can do to alleviate your stress. It may not be your thing but depending on where you live most Primary Care Trusts run stress management courses which are really useful and free. Have a look on your local PCT website.

This is a great website for Mens Health which may provide further links for you:

This may also be useful!

Top 10 tips that any man can do to improve his health!!
•read a book or two – now a prescribed treatment in some health authorities for beating the blues, reading in the evening also helps relaxation and sleep
•open a window – it lets in negative ions which neutralise the positive ions from electrical items
•play cards and do crosswords – keeps the brain active
•support a decent team – success boosts testosterone levels which is why we are competitive. Identifying with a successful team can have the same effect!
•work on your relationships – a study of 6,000 blokes found that married ones got better jobs and were healthier
•sleep long and get up late - regularly getting 4 instead of 8 hours sleep increases the signs of ageing. Late risers have faster brains and lower stress levels. Sleep well and live long.
•go out in the sun – vitamin D, which is important for bones, teeth and happiness is boosted by sunlight (but keep some sunscreen on).
-walk – it’s good for the heart and lungs and improves brain function by boosting it oxygen supply. Get off the bus early or take the stairs and not the lift.
•sing – the breathing control needed to sing – however badly – makes it the easiest and most effective way to shed stress
•drink water - many of us don’t drink enough. The yellower your urine the more dehydrated you are. A couple of extra glasses of water a day and you’ll feel better.

I know how you feel, the best thing i can suggest is Kalms herbal pills, you can purchase them any supermarket or chemist.
Also i would suggest a indian head massage, i am trained in this and it relieves so much stress, if a salon is too costly, try your local college as the have trainees and they are well trained. Do give it a go. Hope this helps Smiler
