I really hate buttons on pyjamas. However, it doesn't appear to just be buttons I dislike. I can just about cope with a 5p coin, but don't like anything small and button-like. Small washers are a problem too!

What I really dislike is when you get a spare button in a plastic packet. My Mum used to cut them off her new dress and leave them on the bathroom windowsill near the toothbrushes! They would get all dusty after a few months.

Another thing I really can't stand is when a button or coin is dirty. For example, My Dad used to repair cars. His work shirts had filler all over the buttons.

I can just about cope with wearing a shirt, but do prefer a tie to cover up the buttons. Everyone thinks I'm weird and they take great amusement from hearing about my dislike. I don't know if it is a phobia, as I'm not scared of buttons, I just don't like them.

There is one type of button I love however - Chocolate ones!
