Hi I'm looking for some advice and other peoples experiences. I am pretty sure my husband has a varicocele in his left testicle. He has had it for many years and I never thought anything of it as it doesn't cause him any pain. However, we are now trying to conceive and I stupidly started looking into varicoceles on the internet and it has scared me to death! Basically, if I were to believe everything on there then we have almost no chance of conceiving on our own.
Has anybody else had experience with this/ got pregnant even though hubby has one?

My husband had (and still has) this problem. Doesn't present him with anything other than occasioanl discomfort and he managed to father three children without any difficulty.
GP's advice was to live with it unless it caused any problem. That was 12 years ago.
