I have a 22 month old daughter who has no set bedtime what so ever. The problem being is that she is the youngest child, the youngest before her is 10 and the next 14.If she can hear them up and about downstairs she wants to be with them. What can I do to change this as at the moment she falls asleep in my or my huisbands arms rather than in her cot.

i had this problem until with my son until about 4 months ago. I just persisted. To get him in a set routine, rather than put him to bed at a certain time, woke him at 8am. This way he became tired earlier, and near enough the same time each night. It worked and now he wakes at 8 of his own accord and goes to bed around 8-8.30pm. it takes a little time. the only time it goes tits up is if he falls asleep in the daytime!!! i try to keep him as occupied as i can and not allow him to sleep. he begins to get grumpy around 6.30 and can last till about 8 with only a few tempers!!
Hope this helps
