Hey Lorraine, just to let you know (apart from the fact that you're not nuts!) that if your kids have already had it they are unlikely to again. The virus can mutate over months but mosly you will have built up immunity by having had it already. I am a nurse and when we have outbreaks on wards (which always happens this time of year) we isolate people according to whether they've had it or not. If a patient has already had it, or been exposed and not got it after 48 hours then they are safe to be around patients who haven't got it. It's only those who haven't had it or haven't been around people who've had it who are at risk. Clear as mud.....? That made so much more sense as i was typing it than when i read it back. Em is right - it is a lot of scaremongering because i've never worked a winter without wards being closed in my department at one time or another. Mostly it's not the hospital's fault either, it's the visitors who bring it in with these kind of bugs!! Hope that your course is going well. OCD is a tough one to conquer but i've met lots of people who have, or who have got things to a level where it doesn't affect thier daily lives. Good luck, we don't think you're mad !

lol i did go insane and it always seemed that the sickness was in the middle of the night! Both the kids bedrooms where just lined in towels for about 8 weeks and tyler (who normally sleeps in the top bunk) had to have his mattress on the floor as i couldn't cope with it coming from great heights! yuk!! I had it 3 times and it seriously is horrid.
