Thanks Gosia & Ali for the well wishes!

Midwife has just been says lucy a little jaundice, Lucy got her back by being sick all over her LOL..... my milk is in now & Lucy is being very greedy so have been told to cut her time on the breast down how long are your little ones on the breast for Lucy can do anything from 15 to 35 mins. I have been writing it down purely as i never had the chance with Joel i expressed for two weeks as he could'nt latch on..... Apart from this all is fine with her

Going to take her out for abit of fresh air now took her to Joels nursery this morning was only out 10 mins whilst i dropped joel off for the day all he could say was my Lucy bless him...

Speak soon

Karly just saw photos of Phoebe !! OMG she is stunning and all that hair !!!

Joanne Lucy is beautiful, you must be so proud.

One thing I have picked up from all of this is that the second time around moms are much more laid back about their little ones!!

lucy is a little cutie - if only she knew we were all awaitingher arrival. Re feeding Becki woul be latched for 20 - 40 mins initially now its sooo quick 15 - 25 mins and she is full lol.

Well major breakthrough last night .................... SHE SLEPT THRU!!!!

put her to bed 9:30 and not a peep from her until 6:30 then she fed and went back to sleep until 8:30!!

not sure if it was a fluke or not but i kept waking up ready for her to wake up. She is now in her crib in our room not her carrycot. fingers crossed for tonight.

Gosia enjoy your time with DH. mine is home most of the week. He has his own business so is working from home for a few hours a day but other than that he is with us.

Well its injection day Wednesday and im dreading it........... Frowner Frowner

Hope everyone else is ok

hey ladies, sorry i've been crap at keeping up been a bit of a hectic 2 weeks but it's settling down now thank god.

check us out moving to parenting! quite sad about leaving preg boards but i'm sure i'll return someday (although not some day soon lol!)

joanne, yay lucy is finally here congratulations hun, hope you're not feeling too rough after the section have you got someone helping you out??

~monkey YAY to becki sleeping through you must be so chuffed! Big Grin long may it continue..

gosia just seen your new pics on msn, they're fab hun hasn't she grown already it's mad how quick they change isn't it.

well it's been a mad 2 weeks but we've managed to come out the other end alive!

ollie has been a bit of a handful of late, thank god df is still off to help out. he's had some more teeth come through though and has had the squits the past few days which i suppose hasn't helped, i suppose it's a big adjustment for him having a baby around the house.

phoebe has started to settle down now, doesn't keep me up at night as much, usually has a feed at 11pm, another at about 3-4am, 7am and then wakes for the day at 11am so at least i get a bit of a lie in. luckily ollie likes his lie in's too and is never up before 10am so at least i'm not up at the crack of dawn. i think she has a bit of colic at the moment though, she struggles bringing up wind most of the time but in the evenings she's so unsettled and cries lots it's heartbreaking. i've been giving her infacol which is helping a bit, hopefully she'll grow out of it soon.

mw came yesterday and weighed her, she's now 8lb 13oz so has put on almost a pound! i was so chuffed as i've been finding bf so much more tiring and demanding this time i've been close to jacking it in a few times but i'm glad i've stuck at it as it is getting easier.

it's been great having df home and it looks like it might be a bit longer as he's been made redundant! can't believe the timing but he was looking for a new job anyway so he isn't really that bothered. i suppose the redundancy money will come in handy though, as will the extra pair of hands until he finds something else.

anyway i guess i've bored you all enough now, take care all

love

karly x x

Hi all

Karly sorry to hear about your df being made redundant but at least he will be around to help you!!!

Well I just went for my weigh in lol, I was asked to keep up with things through the pregnancy as I think they were worried as i dropped so much weight after Joel was born... Well I have lost 7kg since i was last weiged a month ago but they have also accepted as i am breast feeding I am likely to lose it quick so will go back next month....

Apart from seeing midwife today I have collected joel from nursery done the housework & been to asda shopping Shaun doing the driving but watching me push shopping trolleys etc I have t say I am so annoyed but hey i have just told him to leave as i am busy making a chicken dinner going to bath the kids then go to bed early, I do have help in the evenings which is great...

Right am going to sort dinner

Speak soon

Wow, the parenting thread!!!!!

Joanne - huge congratulations on the birth of Lucy. She is beautiful. Smiler Hope you are getting some rest. Lol to her being sick over midwife! He he!

Gosia - Your pictures of Ella are lovely. It's so nice being able to see all of our beautiful babies.

Monkey - Wow Becki slept right through! That gives me hope!!! Let's hope it lasts!

Karly - You sound like you have a nice little going with Phoebe and she has put on a good amount of weight! Well done you! Sorry to hear about your dh's job. Hope something else turns up soon. Can't see your pics on msn, have I missed them??

Liz - Harvey is a cutie! And lots of hair too - we all seem to have babies with hair!

Caitlin is doing well. She is settling into a bit of a routine at night but obviously not every night!! She went down last night the same as usual and then got hiccups which woke her up. I lifted her and she projectile vomitted all over me and the chair! Poor love, she was really upset.
Our last set of visitors left yesterday and I have to admit it's nice to have the house back to ourselves. It feels like I haven't had a conversation with my dh for weeks!

I am off to try and put some more photos on msn!

Talk later,
Kirsteenxxxx
