morning all (yawn, an early one again) joanne well done on getting into your jeans! fab! not quite bk in my size 12's yet but 14s are feeling bigger.. haven't got much to lose just 2 stone.. are you back on your lemon diet yet? soo tired today, only been up once in the night but it's these early mornings that are killing me..soo not used to it ollie has always loved a lie in never up before 9.30am. i'm thinking of putting phoebe in her own room soon, think she'll prefer it in there rather than being disturbed by us stumbling to bed or df's alarm clock in the morning. anyways i'd better go get breakfast on take care all love karly x

quick post as I am finding less and less time for myslef here. Ella feeding more, I think she is going through a growth spurt, tried the new bigger hole teat and its of no use, she just chokes, feels like I am drowning her so back to the medium sized teats we go. Also noticed that Ella definatley prefers the bottle to breast, she gets all frustrated and really does not want to suck properly so am not too sure how long I will be breast feeding for. sorry girls, gotta go well done on all the weight loss!!!

Hi All Karly poor you with the early mornings saying that im used to them as i used to be up at 7 as it was. Joanne hope Lucy is well and she sounds a happy bunny on the milk she has. Liz hope you and Harvey are well. Kirsteen hope you and Caitlin are well. Gosia, you need to do whats best for you and Ella and if you are finding she prefers the formula then so be it. Have you tried expressing then using it for 1 feed and formula the rest. re the time to yourself i know exactly what you mean the older they get the less time they sleep so less time you get to do a bit of your own thing... Well Becki is fine a little noise box at the moment she gets so giddy its hilarious. For the past week she has slept from half 8/nine o clock until half 5 or like the past 2 days 7:00 its great but im not sure how long it will last. She is still in her size 1 nappies lol and just moved into her 0-3 clothes for the length as she is long. well its nice an windy here so doubt we will be going a walk. ive done the cleaning and re-arranged the lounge. Hope everyone is well speak soon Caz

hi everyone! wow joanne on the size 14!! if only!! im finding it quite hard at the mo lost 12lb farely quick but nothin since!! im so fed up iv sent DH out for a take away! naughty I know! sorry to hear you have been a bit down, I know the feeling Dh and mum and MIL have asked me to see the GP its not a nice feeling is it but there must be light at the end of the tunnel, Im going back to work next week Iam alone most lf the time at the mo and am thinking mabe I need to be around people but Im dreading leaving Harvey! Im getting used to the early mornings too Karly! Harvey wakes up early although in a really good mood so I cant moan, He only takes 4 feeds a day now, the HV said as long as he gets 21oz or 1 pint of milk a day he is fine and he is on 7oz bottles lol so he wont waste away! he sleeps from approx 7pm to 5am then will go back down till 7.30am Iv tried putting the last feed back but it doesnt suit him, he wakes at the same time and is extra tired the following day! hes an angel! Harvey has begun getting excited and a little laugh comes when he smiles he is forever kicking his feet and moves around his cot at night! DH calls him happy feeet! we went and bought him a new playgym its fab, when he kicks the wheel spins and he loves it! we also bought him a little arch for his car seat with some toys dangling. I attached it to the pram and later found two yellow marks on the white lining of his pram! grrr so not too impressed as its hand wash only and not sure it will come off!! any ways will speak soon liz xxx

morning all joanne - aww lucy smiling bless how cute, have you managed to catch her on camera yet? phoebe has started smiling over the past few days too, melts your heart doesn't it. gosia, i agree with monkey over the bottle/breast issue. i'm suprised you've kept up with it this long as sounds like really hard work! it's apparently common for them to favour bottle feeding as it's not as hard work as breast feeding. liz - lol @ happy feet! sounds like harvey is coming along great, what a sweetheart. sorry to hear you're feeling down, has your HV done the PND test on you? mine's today. hope you're feeling better soon. monkey wow you're so lucky becki is such a good sleeper, long may it continue. best go, got hv in a bit to do my PND test and weigh phoebe. take care all love karly x p.s have just put some new pics on facebook if you want a look.

hi all The PND test is that were you tick how you feel on the form? well I ticked what I thought she wanted to hear and scored 3. Thats before it became obviouse to DH and my mum. I have always been quite calm but Im thinking that its a come down from the pregnancy, I have had 2 miscarriages and then to finally have Harvey i think its all connected, I also had a hard time with the hospital and had panic attacks when I got home I didnt say anything to the midwife because I didnt want her to think I couldnt cope. Im gonna phone the docs for a appointment this week, thanks anyway girls Il post again later speak soon liz xx

Karly how did phoebe's weigh go? Monkey 12 hours, OMG how envious am I??? you are so blessed!! I have thought of expressing but its such a mission for me , it takes me 30 minutes to get 2oz out and I have to squeeze my breast and pull it and all sorts of things to get milk out. Liz hunn its very veru normal to feel the way that you do, and as the girls say it would help you tremendously if you had somoen you could dicuss your feelings with, just remember we are here for you.. Joanne I havent thought about it, I heard you dont really ov when you breastfeed, its taken us 4 years to get pg so I am not worried about it at all, not planning on using anything. gotta go wash somne bottles and off to bed (yawn...)

Thalks girls! am going to see the doctor tomoro and gonna have a look on that site in a min too. The doc gave me noriday although I havent started it yet its a mini pill and abit different to the combined that I am used to, I havent used anything for well over 2 years and cant really be bothered with it but will have to get my act together! lol I also read the leaflet that came and it said that if I was to get pregnant on it then it could cause limb malformation which alarms me, I asked the gp as it worried me and they told me that the chances are slim but still not 100% about it, will discuss it tomoro, I cant take the combined because I have high cholesterol and have history of migrains, I have been advised against the coil because of the miscariages and cant stand the thought of the implant (i dont like needles) so back to the drawing board! lol bought Harvey a new car seat he is so big his cary seat was so heavy and he didnt look comfy so we bought him a britax combined one he loves it! well gonna go make some tea! speak soon thanks again! its nice to know im not going mad! liz xx

afternoon all a rare moment of peace as both kiddies are asleep at the same time for once, yay monkey - 12 hours sleep?! wow i am green with envy! yes that cerazette is the same pill i was on before when bf, gonna ask the doc for some more at the 8 week check.. gosia - have you tried expressing using a pump? it's much easier than hand expressing. i can usually express quicker than phoebe feeds, normally takes about 10 minutes to get about 5oz but i guess everyone's different. i know bf does offer some protection against getting pregnant, not having periods is good too but i'm going back on the pill just in case.. be warned tho you're mega fertile after just having a baby. phoebe was 11lb 5oz at the weigh in yesterday, little bess. PND score was 6 which was ok. liz - omg harvey's outgrown his car seat already? which one did you have? we have the silvercross one, lasted ollie until he was 9 months and ready for a forward facing one! has anyone been out with your partner and left your baby with a babysitter yet? think we're going to for the first time next week as i'm dying to see the sex and the city film. not going until after they're both in bed asleep though, sounds silly but i don't trust anyone to have her whilst she's awake just yet as i know she can be difficult at times and can't bare the thought of her being upset and me not being there.. left phoebe with df twice, both times have been a disaster and he's had to call me to come home as he couldn't cope as she wouldn't stop crying! so it looks like i'm taking her with me to weight watchers this week. speak soon love karly x

Afternoon all Well I took lucy to get weighed today she was last weighed 22/5 so 6 days ago & the little madam nows weighs 10lb 8oz which means since last weigh she has gained 1lb 1oz, HV wants me to try her back on aptimil to see if she is ok or lactose intolerant but my argument is why mess if it don't need fixing... Lucy is obviously thriving! Also asked if i should up her milk intake to 6oz as she is totally draining a 5oz bottle where i was told no if she needs another bottle 2hours later feed her!!! yet bumped into my midwife who said up it as she watched her drain a bottle so now i am who do i listen to mood..... Lucy is taking 30-35oz in a 24hr period but when she wakes through the night Lucy can drink 7oz so i really don't know what to do LOL. Also bought another pushchair today for when i have lucy on my own as phil & teds is heavy LOL... I bought a koochi pushchair which was reduced in argos to £50 it comes with a footmuff, changing bag & raincover so a bargain lol & its red.... I hope your all ok Speak soon Joanne x
