afternoon all

wow it's hot here today today.

joanne i hope you get somewhere with the wysoy and that it stops lucy being sick. phoebe is quite sicky too, i find most times it's due to her either being greedy and eating too much or if she hasn't brought a burp up now i know that she isn't as bad.

monkey i'll have to pop over to msn and check out the photos.

happy mothers day gosia! aww so cute your dh got you a card from ella how sweet, before you know it she'll be writing one out for you isn't time flying.

kirsteen, liz everyone else i hope you're enjoying your weekends.

nothing much happening here, phoebe is great, flat out asleep at the moment. had an ollie free weekend as he's been at mils, been nice to have some peace!

take care all
love

Iv got the HV coming tomorrow, I wonder how much weight he has gained! Eeker
I had to go and exchange some clothes for the 3-6 months as he wont get much wear out of the 0-3! but now I have too many in 3-6 so thinking of exchanging some for 6-9!! oh dear!! Eeker
Im gonna start buying summer outfits in 12months as we are going to australia next march and im a bit warey of waiting for the summer sales!!
I have my meeting at the hospital tomoro too so will see how I get on their too!!
We bought Harvey a lovely mobile too at the weekend it plays classical and nursery rhymes and toys hanging and a light show on the ceiling its so cute, he is mesmerised with it!!

evening all Smiler

liz i'm glad harvey is happy now and settled with the new milk, wow he really puts it away doesn't he 7oz is the max ollie has ever had and he's nearly 2 now must be costing you a bomb in formula milk.

ooo what mobile have you got sounds great i've been meaning to get a new one as our music bit broke it's a bit pointless without it!

monkey i think swim nappies start at about 16lbs because you're supposed to wait until they've had all their immunisations before you take them swimming. they do swim pants at mothercare with a kind of built in nappy you might get them a bit smaller might be worth having a look. lucky you having a hot tub Big Grin

loving the new pics by the way.

think phoebe is having a bit of a growth spurt, been doing nothing but feeding the past 2 days and she's been really hard to settle at night. apparently it takes 3 days for your milk supply to catch up when they have one though so looks like i've got another day of this yet Frowner on a plus side i had a go at expressing today, managed to get 5oz just off one boob. gave her it at bedtime and she still wanted more little piggy i'd be bankrupt if she was on formular.

weathers been fab again so we've been out in the garden all day, ollies had the paddling pool out. my backs so sunburnt now though ouch.

anyway i hope everyone else has had a nice weekend, take care

love

I just cant believe how little Ella drink in cdomparise to everyone else, Ella takes less then 3 oz, sometimes 2 oz, fair enough its every 2 hours but still that is so little, the other day she managed to drink more then 3 oz and of course had to puke it up, maybe her stomach is still too small.

Karly well done one the milk front, keep it up you are doing so well.
liz, wow to harvey drinking !! thats amazing
monkey if becki loves bathing she will really enjoy the hot tub.

Bought Ella the paly- mat, she loves it, totally rivited once on it, will post pics soon.

afternoon all

joanne well done on lucy's weight gain and great that you've been discharged now, i take it the jaundice has gone? has the wysoy made any difference?

how did it go with the hv?

gosia like you say ella may just have a small tummy which is why she can only take small amounts at once, she'll soon grow.

i've seen my hv today, phoebe has been weighed and is now 10lb 6oz! hv was impressed as she's jumped up a centile from the 75th to the 91st. she's 57cm's long which is also just over the 91st centile.

i asked her about imms and swimming, she said you can take them before but it's reccomended you wait until they've had the last injection at 4 months.

df has got a new job which is fab, and his months notice has just started today so he can have another month off if he wants.

we're going to the baby show at birmingham nec on friday, looking forward to that.

monkey, kirsteen, liz hope you're all well x x

love

hi all!

Glad all mummies and babies are doing well!!
well done lucy on the weight gain!

Well Harvey was weighed on monday and he now weighs 14lb! so 1 lb gained in two weeks!
I have also started putting him into his cot before I go to bed which Im finding really hard especially when DH is working nights!
I got on really well at the hospital with the complaint it was recorded and quite formal but think thats the end of it now, they will send me a letter with their actions in it.
HV was really pleased with him and was talking to me about weaning and said that I can wean earlier than 6 months if I need to!

My sister is due to give birth in 2 weeks and the hospital have told her that they are going to induce Eeker painfull!! they dont really want her going full term as she had a stillbirth about 18 months ago so Harvey will be a big cousin soon!
I was induced wil the gel and do not envy her!
will post again tomoro
hope all is well! Big Grin

speak soon liz x
