Liz congrats on Harveys 1st tooth bless him, Has anyone mentioned as its the first passport application they double check your counter signature etc.. I recently had this with Lucy's my nurse singed it & well they then phoned & wrote to her double checking details! I can't beleive how expansive passports are these days! LOL....

Well just got of the phone to my sister & shes expecting again her youngest is 9 weeks older than our Joel & she was told she was lucky to concieve her as she had endometirosis this will be her 4th child but she also has 2 stepchildren! All in a 3 bed house luckily for her she is moving in the next couple of weeks LOL....

Well another problem to me dropping weight so quickly looks like gall bladder is being taken out went to see gp today mainly due to me being due the depo injection again but like Gosia was having problems with intermittant bleeding which was'nt fresh blood anyway gp told me to persevere with next injection told him twice this week i had two nights of lots of pain & no sleep explained sypmtoms told gall stones so going for a scan to confirm this is all i need with starting college etc...

Lucy did her 1st session at nursery i was there for the 1st 2 hours where she just mainley slept nursery phoned me this morning to say bring her in 1 til 3 next weds so i refused saying its a 30 walk there then the same back then home for an hour then collect Lucy then walk back home for another hour then go & collect Joel which i am not willing to do Liz you worked in a nursery am I being unreasonable! I only have 2 weeks before i start college

I hope everyone else is well

hi joanne, not at all i dont think your been unreasonable, i understand that they will be following child/adult ratios but there must be one days where you could leave her when you leave joel and colect her later but thinking about it they obviously have a child place for her so they should have space on any of the days you have booked her in.
no i just think they are been awkard(spelling!) you will probably find its there quietest time of the day!
If it were me i would fit you in with joels times it wouyld only mean you making one extra journey but it is normal for nurserys to give only a hour visit.

as for the passport what a nightmare!?!?!?)
a police officer filled in the form then realised his passport had ran out so i phoned and they said i cant use that so i cleared it with them that a florist i know could do it as she owned the business and she was vat registered, got the train and then a taxi (cost a fortune!) they told me it wouldnt do because she wasnt a limited company and that the police officers WOULD be fine!! Mad i was sooo angry it was a wasted journey!!
took the police officers back and they couldnt find him on the system! he had been in the army and when it came to it he had replaced it in germany so after some speaking to him the put it through!!!
so next friday i should have it!!

gotta go harbey has woken up speak soon liz xx

Liz What a nightmare thought Lucys was bad enough LOL...

As for nursery I did the induction yesterday was told 1 hour but as Lucy fell asleep I stayed 2 hours just incase she cried when she woke up! Anyway when Lucy woke the girls said to collect her at 5 like Joel which i did! They have now agreed to have Lucy 1 til 5 next wednesday which is Joels time. Joel was moved out of the baby room with another child so they had space for Lucy both children will do 8 til 5 mon to weds then Thurs & Fri 8 til 1.30 alot of hours but if i finsh early i will collect them early. And it wil only be term time!
The week after next it will be two days which i am dreading LOL...

Hows all the teething babies i know Lucy is a nightmare

Hi all,

Just been so busy with eisa not had a chance to log on, also had dh's nephews wedding on monday, was lovely but a nightmare with eisa
he was so scared as there were bhangra players and they had huge drums poor thing had to evacuate the building a few times with eisa thought his ears would blow, they just had no consideration for children real piss take.
Had to tell the drum player to get away from eisa so many times.

People kept pissing me off by waking him everytime he fell asleep just to look at him..

Sorry for the rant.

Well done harvey for the tooth, i know how wingy they are,
Eisa's is fully out and all he wants to do is bite. top one is just cutting the surface.

Joanne you do have a lot on your plate, shaun is not being helpful i guess men automaticaly put up defence barrier and attack...
Did you get some problems from depo, i have been on it for 7 years now that iv come off after eisa i feel like shite around period time.

Liz what a pallava for a passport.

Karly, hope the little ones are doing well
is phoebe on food yet or is she taking it easy.

Gosia hows the baptism going.

Caz you ok, hows princess doing?

Love 2 all

I would have probably been annoyed too sophie if ny in laws were waking harvey up and also the with the instruments! argh what a nightmare!!

Liz darl
im in exactly the same situation, unfortunatly they will never stick up for us,
i have had enough trying to get dh to see sense.
I keep telling my self all that mil is intrested in is seeing us split and constantly arguing, being really stubborn i just dont want her to win under any cir****tances.

So please take my advice and vent some anger else where as you dont want to reck your relationship with dh.

Dh said 2 me no matter how much he loves me and lo, his mum will always come first and that encludes when even shes at fault for things, hard pill to swallow but i think that is the
way all men think.

all i know if i turn out any where near them to my kids and there partners i want someone to shoot me.

pls keep your chin up, stress aint good for baba on da way or harvey who can feel the stress.

sorz for going on but i know how u feel n its such a shit place to be in.

hi girls

hope you've all had a great bank holiday?

liz - sorry you're feeling a bit low hun, it's understandable, all the preg hormones racing round, harvey suffering with teething, annoying MIL's, work stress, passport stress the list is endless you've got a hell of a lot on your plate hun! i'm with you on the feeling lonely front, my Df works really long hours leaves before the kids get up sometimes isn't home until after they've gone to bed works every other weekend too it's so hard coping on my own at times i feel like a single mum!

talking about it with a doc will help, he might be able to refer you to a councillor or something. (((big hugs)) babe and you come on here whenever you need to vent/moan/scream that's what we're here for.

joanne, sorry to hear you're having a mare with lucy and josh's nursery and go you to starting college! ollie is starting nursery on 2nd sept he has a free place for 8 hours a week, i'm bot ashamed to admit i can't wait!

sophie hun, sorry your MIL is causing you stress too dont let her come between you and your DH that's what she wants rise above it! just ignore her nasty comments dont let her see she's bugging you, she'll soon get bored.

oh yes and liz, i have an astra but before that i had a corsa ollie has a forward facing carseat and it fit in no problem. If you're buying a carseat from a shop they will probably insist on showing you how to fit it anyway before you buy it.

caz, hope you and Becki are ok and gosia do you have everything sorted for Ella's christening at the weekend?

Last week was totally the week from hell! i swear by the end of the week i was ready to stick my head in the oven it was so hard!

it all started on monday when we took the bars off ollie's cot.. didn't think it'd be a problem as we've never had any problems with him sleeping (i know, we're really lucky) but basically i've had naff all sleep since!

He's developed a fear of the dark and just wont stay in the bed we have to sit with him till he goes to sleep which takes at least an hour then sometimes he's up in the night and generally gets up in the morning at 6am!! he's always loved his lie in's, before i had phoebe he'd sleep till after 10 every day and it's usually 9 but 6am is soooo early i'm not used to it, even phoebe doesn't usually get up until 8 at the earliest.

anyway due to him not sleeping he's been crabby and playing up all day all week and refusing to nap by friday i was at the end of my tether, luckily the in laws saved the day and offered to have him for the weekend so i feel much better now i've had a rest.

hopefully things can only get better!

anyways sorry for the rant! hope you're all well x x

Hi Girls

Liz. Well done harvey for the teeth.
Liz what magic potion are you using to pop these teeth out,
Sound like the zoo was a good day out.
Good to hear the scan went well,
My sis in law had a girl 2 weeks to the day after eisa and she had dots on her scan, she had them on all her pregnancy scans and she has four girls, also i have heard that women having girls there womb tilts back, not to sure if this is a old wives tale...

Karly, Poor ollie, should i say poor you you must be shattered getting up so early its worse when you aint a morning person i hate mornings.
I think it will just take him a bit of time to adjust to having the bars off his cot.
The fear of teh dark is awfull, my niece had it
my brother got her this poster trhing off ebay that is a stary night that they can see in the dark and its completly clear in the daylight its really cool and look just like your lyeing outside, really helped her, might help ollie.
Hows Phoebe doing? her picks are so gorgeous she has an adorable smile.
Sent link for poster below.

Gosia Hows ella is there any signs of a first tooth?

Joanne hope lucy is ok and so is joel, also the 7yr old is she doing ok?
Hope your having a better time with sean and the ex.

Well we are ok, Eisa has cut another tooth top one this time so we now have two, cant wait for all of them to just come through poor thing is in so much pain and i go through wet tops like theres no tomorrow.

me n dh are getting on really well, were just having fun at the moment feels like when we first met just being careless and free, also me mum was up for a week and we got to do so much together just get away and have time to our selves i think i just lack adult time.

Hope your all well

Quick one, first day at work today and it sucks big time.
MIL is smsing me to keep me updated on Ella, which is nice. she said Ella is sort of looking for me and feeling a bit restless......
cant wait to get home.

Baptism went well, Ella moaned through out the whole service and fell asleep straight after the service ended. ha!
It was lovely and warm here.

Still drooling a lot, still a bit grumpy and not eating well and still no tooth! no sign of one at all!

sorry, gotta run.
Hope all babies are well.

hey hey

liz wow a scan already your pregnancy is flying by so fast! oooo bet you can't wait to find out what you're having!! if it's a girl it'll be cool as you'll have one of each and if it's a boy it'll b great for harvey to have a brother so close in age..

sophie so pleased you and your dh are getting on better. nice to have a break isn't it.

gosia glad ella's christening went well, hope you get a tooth soon!

things aren't so great here... phoebe is fine it's just me that's miserable i'm just finding everything really tough, worrying about stupid things, i'm just so sad and lonely and the nightmare we're having with olivers sleeping has just pushed me over the edge Frowner went to my gp yesterday and he suggested anti depressants he thinks i have PND. i'm not exactly all for the idea of drugs but i can't keep feeling like this so once i've seen my hv next week i'm going back to get a prescription.

sorry to bring the thread down Frowner
