hi all
well went for a look in mothercare and saw the jumperoo!! sat harvey in it and he LOVED it!!
we got it him and he really likes it! he has started making use of a floppy butterfly as a teether!! if i could fit i would get in it ha ha Smiler

Harvey has never had a problem with constipation but my niece did when she was first born and like monkey said fruit juice in boiled water was the advice given by MW they told her to squeeze a orange and put some in the water, it seemed to work!
(Harvey has frequent explosions!!)

about the guidline my HV told me that they like parents to hold off weaning till 6 months but definately not to give before 4 months!
(there was no way i could wait 6 months with harvey) today in KFC i had him sat on my knee and as a took a drink of pepsi he started sucking on the cup!! Smiler he now thinks he can eat everything!! hes so funny!

I found a annabel karmel book in mothercare but it was just purree recipies (spelling!) must look properly!!! i did look on the internet and it said that for starting weaning you can use baby rice, mash, carrots (bland stuff) I figured that the veg is better so am going to cook some and freeze it so it is easier when i am working, would you start on the veg?? not thinking of right now but in a week or so ?? thought i would let his tummy get used to the baby rice first!

anyway hope you are all well, speak soon liz xx

Hi All

Karly I have both the earn & groove & tigger that you have for ollie... Joel loved the learn & groove but hated the door bouncer. I do have both still so Lucy will have a go at them...

Well been buying joels birthday presents got him loads of different things mainly Thomas the tank stuff or bob the builder...

Lucy I am going to take her to gp as she has had a sweat rash since she has been born but it seems alot redder etc also her reflux is a pain have been thinking about trying her on baby rice its more Shaun than me as i am happy to wait but she is such a hungry baby but still only very young i think i started weaning Joel around 14 weeks, Lucy is teething usual problems dribbling lots etc....

Has anyone arranged christenings yet i am trying to decide what to do but its so hard as Joel needs to get christened too Spent the afternoon on the park today with Shaun & the kids just need to catch up on paperwork too...

Got to dash Joel trying to decorate kitchen with his dinner lol

hi all!

Really need to get hold of that book!!
had a dreadfull night with harvey but now i think of it, he slept leading upto his bath and of course he then goes to bed! well he was up from about 2.40am! i am sooo tired!!
so today he napped untill 3pm and hed about 45mins then when he got a little grumpy at about 5.45pm i kept him entertained untill his bath which woke him up, he ate his babyrice really well between his bottle then went into a really deep sleep! fingers crossed!! (im in work in the morning) i need sleep, think i will leave it to DH if he wakes in the night, the funny thing is he wants to get up but once we are downstairs he goes back to sleep! oh well they will do as they please!!

Joanne i rang the church where we married (which is out of the parish) and are pencilled in for 5th october but need to phone the church in my parish to ask for permission!

we have asked my brother and brother in law and i asked my cousin to be god mother but then realised that i really want my friend too so thought i would make an exeption and have two of each!

gotta go we are gonna look for caravans down south so we can take harvey away before number 2 arrives, although will probably cost as much abroad!!

speak soon liz xx

Hi Girls

Sorry for butting in, yet another stalker here.

When the twins suffered with constipation the pharmacist recommended 1 tsp of brown sugar dissolved in approx 3-4 oz of cooled boiled water, and it worked a treat.

Hope this helps.

Hi Karly, you doing alright chick?

Hi all,

Hope you are all doing well,

Liz Eisa has three men and three women as god parents we just went for who we thought best, coulndt really stick to the norm, it is how you say thats what me told me anyway.

Jumparoo sounds like so much fun looks so cool.
I have the door hanger just waiting for eisa to support his head propery on his own before attempting it, will hunt a jumparoo down
eisa loves being active so sounds perfect. is it ok to put them in at this age?

Liz hun get the book and also the freezer cubes of annabel karmel from boots they are the cheapest there and in asda, only books in asda
the freezer tubs are brilliant as its a full amount of food.

Gosia im glad the powders are working magic for you, also eisa gets very constipated so as monkey said prune juice or fresh orange juice works a treat you will have explosions
I couldnt find prune juice nor for love or money so had to boil prunes and put them through a fine sive, worked a treat. so good that shes sleeping longer

Kaly the new picks are so lovly, gona get eisa on there too.
We have exactly the same door bouncer.

Jenny i have started weaning eisa and he loves it, helps him sleep longer. hios fav is porridge.

Does any one have any idea why my ticker is not being shown as its driving me mad......

Last one was fine then it just disappered got a new one but still no good. i am copy and pasting the html that is right isnt it or should it be the bbcodes, im confused..

Eisa much better, i just hope he stays well so fed up of him being poorly.
We had a lovly time down south, he just got so much love and attention so spoiled in two days.

Going to the mamas and papas factory shop 2moro just to ahve a smooch for any bargains, monkey do you go ther its just off m62 huddersfield,
I have got so much stuff from there brand new and saved a fortune.

Does anyone need anything will have a look and list things they have can always post it out to you lot, will still be cheaper then paying full price at the shop.

Got eisa a bath tidy for £2, in the shop its £15 see what i mean, some thing are ex display but just have to have a good look..

can anyone recommened a make of baby rice they have tried and tested, eisa does not like boots organic one, thinking if i should try another brand.

Hi All

Sorry Caz I forgot to answer your question yesterday re tummy tuck, I have to have one done due to having lost a huge amount of weight when joel was born i had put 5 stone on but was still a big girl but when joel was 12 months old I lost 8 stone mainly through squeezing lemons but it has brought on a eating disorder so under a close eye with gp especially whist i was pregnant with Lucy. I am now about 4kg's heavier than i was this time last year so really i just need to maintain until April then i can get rid of excess skin. I am in a 14/16 trousers but used to be a size 28! & 23.5stone.
so alls well LOL.....

Lucy's next lot of injections are on the 25th July arranged it so daddy can be there to hold her as i cried last time. I am taking her to gp tomorrow as her neck is ever so red tried conatrane & sudocrem but still sore so want the gp to look at it... Joel never suffered with rashes on neck or bottom but lucy is the opposite mind you we found when she had her injections she is allergic to micropore guess i just have a sensitive little girl bless her....

Got to go Lucys screaming

wow amazing weight loss. i have been on and off diets all my life. I lost 2.5 stone before i got pregnant with Becki then i put about 4.5 on. i still have about 2 stone to loose plus the rest i was planning on losing.

What is the lemon diet you did?

Becki is allergic to plasters etc and also Calpol of all things. She has been prescribed nurofen but not had to give it her yet.

Is it an eczema on Lucy's neck?

Hi caz
Lucy has dry skin but as she is a chubby baby her neck looks really sore have tried a few creams leaving bibs off etc even bought the tommy tippee bibs with the padding around the neck but nothing works so seeing gp tomorrow Lucy also has bad reflux a very sickly baby nothing like Joel at all!! So strange lol...

Right the lemon diet is simple you sqeeze 1 fresh lemon each night around the same time of night knock it back then drink a glass of warmish water straight after it, It is not meant to be done for long peroids of time ideally for 4 weeks then a week off then restart it. My nan originally was told to do it by her gp she lost about 8 stone in 18months & the weight stayed off so not like most diets I went silly with it & now have to have kidneys & other bloods done regulary but alls well.

Speak soon

I nhave had a day from hell today...
Ella went for her routine check up and the peadetrician said that she can hear something is wrong with the heart, then we wnet for x rays and today we went to the cardiologist who gave ella a scan and a heart echho, which was difficult to do as Ella would not lie still, but he could see that there was a problem.
We need to take her next monday again, they are going to sedate her and have a better look but he did notice that the artery leaving the heart is very
narrow and the blood flow there is causing turbulance but he needs to check it out completely before he tell us what should be done.
There is a huge chance of some procedure of even operation, I am am so so sad, so heartbroken, cant believe my poor darling angel
has to go through somthing like that, my heart is in my throat and I cant stop crying.
sorry girsl this has been a bit of a me me post, will let you know what the cardiologist says on monday......
