Girls I finally got the ashton & parsons powder,
reading the leflet it says its for upset tummies due to teething, does this powder help with pain, and out of experience how often should I use it.

Gosia it can be used for a number of things but the main ingrediant is chamomilla which is homeopathic and given for teething. the reccomendation is half sachet twice a day but if needed then can be given more often but i would imagine 4 times max while still so young. it gives them a tingling feeling on there gums which soothes them.

Liz how was work? did they give you any news?

Joanne good about the op date. Have you lost loads of weight hence needing the op ? fingers crossed they locate your ex and he pays what he owes.

Sophie - Which day are you off for your pics? we are going this week and the deal you mentioned sounds great - gonna speak to him when we go about deals etc. Are you having the hour sitting?

Karly - hope you and the little ones are well and you enjoyed your meal.

catch u soon

hi all!

well what a day!!
got news that i AM been made redundant as of the 1st of august! not happy though as boss just handed out letters with date and redundancy packages out he didnt say anything about when the payment will reach us or holidays owed (how unproffesional!)
I went and asked him and he said that we have to "bear " with him! howe does he expect us to pay bills!? he was so arrogant and sooo sorry! but really he is just out for all he can get!
the have my start date as 21st jan 2002 but im sure its 2001 in my personal file and because im only 22 yrs old I only get 1/2 a week per year served so I come out with 3 weeks wage!
Im soo annoyed! Mad
Just cant see how they can descriminate with age! im more qualified than some which are older than me and getting more!

any ways sorry for my moaning! just had a day of it!
going to citizens advice to see whats what and how I am better approaching work as I am unsure on my rights reguarding maternity leave this time and so on!

I have been putting off moving harvey into his own room but I REALLY must doi it as he is waking and expecting to get in with me!!
really must nip this in the bud, I know i only do it as i know that im up early and try to get as much sleep as i can and at the slightest cry i wip him out before he gets too upsett and has me up for ages! (lazy I know!!)

Thanks joanne! yeah I would love a girl! but will be hapy with whatever I get! lol

good luck with your photos ladies! will have to get some pics of mine on here!

speak soon liz xx

Hi ladies

Monkey the only date available was 9/8/08 which seems ages away but it will fly by hopefully.
the deal is fab seen it on his site and also asked about it, mentioned you recommended me so hopefully he might give u a discount, did say caz not monkey lol.

Gosia, pharmacist said it can be used upto 10 times a day as its all herbal. i found three times a day does the trick

Liz sorrry to hear about the package your getting i would make sure that is correct, doesnt sound fair because of your age, also ring up inland revenue and they will be able to give you your start date from the moment you started paying tax.... to be sure.

yeah having th ehour sitting, xperience at venture hour is good as you can get in loads of clothes changes, we must have had bout 5 changes on eisa.

Also have had fab ideas of photo's that we want taking just jotting them all down for when we go. Got a bubble machine from ELC for £10 it is crazy blows 100 bubbles a minute.Eisa was in aur of the bubbles lol.

Hope you r all well and had a good weekend

Girls I am very confused, the powders I bought are called :" Ashton and Parsons Baby Powders"
and the composition is : Tincture Matricaria Duplex and Lactose.
Do I have the right powders???
(It does say for teething on the box but there is no mention of chammomilla)

hi!

well abit of good news my contract says that i should be given the amount of years in weeks notice of termination of employment so i am due to 6 weeks notice and he now owes me a further 2 weeks pay woo hoo!
really must try those powders!
Harvey has seriously been trying to eat EVERYTHING! tried him ojn baby rice tonight and it seemed as if he didnt know what to do although he waas very grunpy and wanted his milk so i gave his milk then tried his baby rice again and he LOVED it!
his face was hilareous as he chewed this goo! it was so funny! as i put it in he shot it out but he soon got the hang of it, was thinking of just giving it a night at the moment as I have to be at work early and I want to feed him!!
also this is a really stupid question but i have never weened a baby so when do i know when to try new things or up the food intake???

sorry for the daft questions!!

hope your all well! luv liz xx

Hi ladies

Gosia darl that is the scientific name for chamomilla, why they dont use names we all understand is a mystery 2 me.
The lactose apparantly helps release the water retention in the gums, so the less fluid the easier it is to teeth.

Sorry to sound like a boffin did two years of med school.......

Liz, I have been using Annabel Karmel the baby food guru as my weening bible and it does state its best to go for the same thing for three days to see if there is any adverse reaction, then swap to a new thing, also this gives baby a chance to get used to the taste of things.
I have been giving Eisa Porridge as he just refuses rice but will try another make.
I have also been making all his food myself so easy got A K cookbooks and food mill and blender just make a batch of food a week and freeze it.

The most recommended food by pedeatricians (plz xcuse spelling) for weaning is carrot, sweet potato, papaya, apple, pear, banana, butternut squash, parsnip, potato, avocado.

Also keep a list of what was liked and what wasnt, keep an eye of stools if something makes them constipated or gives them the runs.

Hope this helps

check out shortcut will help loads..

Hope everyone is doing well.

Ok scary stalker moment coming up...sorry guys!

Liz - I noticed on your ticker you are expecting again - congratulations! How are you finding it? We had a lot of trouble conceiving wyatt (18 months after two losses) so we told the gp we were reluctant to have contraception again as we definately want more children - she acted like we were nuts...but I seriously wouldn't mind a close age gap - and I guess I just wanted to pick your brains to see how you were finding it...sorry - I don't know you and have probably freaked you out but would love to know!

Hope all you other ladies are well - weaning already - blimey some of us will be doing that soon! Scary how time flies!

Love from me on the may/june thread xx
