hi Karly iv been using bonjela and calpol if needed he doesnt seem too bad, at least last night he lasted in his cot till DH came home from work at 6am! he woke at 2.30 though for some water and a change then settled back off!

Had some bad news today in work too, redundancies are gonna be made to us all! i work in a private day nursery and my boss just cant compete with the prices of the government run ones so tink we might get till august he will have too see how it goes but definatley be closed as I work in pre-school and when the children leave for school and school nurserys we are dropping from 25 to 3!!

not sure how i lye with redundancy pay as I have been there since i was 15!! im now nearly 23!
got a meetin with the boss on friday to discuss it, well that puts australia out of the picture then doesnt it!?!?

well enough of me moaning im gonna go and get a bath before my take away arives! only got home from work at 7.30pm! :O

sooooo tired!

hiope your all well!

speak soon liz xx

Hi liz

sorry to hear bout redundancies, its horrible i was made redundant a few years ago, i will say start looking asap for something else but explain you wont be available until you get the date from your place of work, i messed up as i asked my employer if i could go a week before the date i got for my redundancie and they were happy with that only to get no money as i left before the date the company gave i was gutted.

As for teething i would really recommend Anbesol pedeatrician recommened and it is fab, much better then bonjela and you can get away with out using calpol too much only use calpol at night, use anbesol up to eight times a day. Also use Ashton & Parsons Powders inbetween. really help eisa...

hope that helps love

hi too all hope you are all doing well.

Had a rough night with eisa and rough day had to get dh to come home early as i was just on the brink of it as eisa jus playing up big time.

Gosia i would recommend the following link its not too pricey i have one and it is a god send it also folds, my niece used hers until 18 months and its not too pricey, i love the one monkey has but just way too pricey for me.

Venture ridiculos still didnt decide which pic i should get, they were so tempting i could have signed up for all.

9 7*5 cost £875 one cost £145

waste of time will get one of all of us and have it blown up on a canvas, lol

take care luv to all

evening all

liz sorry to hear about your redundancy hun, how rubbish. i got made redundant just as i was finishing work for maternity leave in march.. luckily i had been there long enough to qualify for full maternity pay.

if you've worked there since you was 15 you should get a decent pay out though, give you chance to find something else..

glad to hear harvey's teething is getting better. i've used the ashton and parsons powders before too they're fab.

sophie wow venture prices are rediculous! the photos are beutiful though aren't they that's why they get away with charging the earth. for that reason i dont even want to go for i sitting, i'd end up bankrupting us!

monkey, gosia, jo, kirsteen do you remember thekatswhiskers who started our due in thread? she's got another BFP due in jan/feb thread how great is that. Big Grin

jo how are you getting on with your phil and teds? i have to say now she's getting bigger and more alert phoebe has started really not liking it.. she hates lying down when she's awake always wants to be sitting up so keeps kicking off when we're out.. do you think it's too early to use the sit up bit as i'm sure she'd be much happier sat up and being able to look about.

got the text to say my friend had her twins yesterday. 5 weeks early so they're teeny tiny (4lb 8oz and 3lb 8oz) but doing really well, breathing on their own and taking bottles. they never found out what sex they were having and were well chuffed to find they had one of each Big Grin it's making me broody!

Hi all thanks for the advice on teething and redundancy the dribbling is driving me nuts!

I had a bit of news last night that kind of throws my plans in the air!
I am due a preiod on friday and thought last night that i would try a test, well I did the test and thought it was a bfn threw it in the bin then whilst running my bath caught site of TWO PINK LINES!!!!! arghhhhhhhhh
anyways two tests later last night and another one this morning its sinking in that I am pregnant again.
This is fine but would have been great if I wasnt losing my job, i mean who will employ me now??
from the dates i have my due date will be 10th march as harveys 1st birthday is the 15th!"

It upsets me though when I look at him as hes a little baby and i have all these emotions and wonder if when hes older he will think we diddnt love him enough and we wanted another one (silly I know ) but he is just obliviouse to it and so sweet!

I know we will be ok, it will all come together, I could never be sad at been pregnant but im a little frightened!

well I bet that shocked you all
look forward to hearing your replys! lol :O

(just gonna go do another test just to make sure!) lol

WOW is all i can say, you will be fine and so will harvey, he will never think that sweet heart, my brothers are a year and two days apart one 22nd dec and other 24th dec they are so close it is amazing i think they will have a really good bond.
You will just have to let it sink in and be happy whateva is meant to be, will be.whateva you do dont be sad look how lovely harvey is and you will have another bundle of joy.
Just make the most of giving harvey all the love and attention before you have to start sharing.

How is dh taking the news.

Dh is on my case of trying for another made him a deal if he starts changing nappies will think about it..... lol.

Need to sort me self out in so much pain when having sex its mad, i feel like im being stabbed intialy and the perinium is well sore!!!! Has any one been through this or have any advice anything welcome, thinking of going celebate cant take the pain, labour was easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Confused

Take care all

OMG Liz hun huge congrats. my friend has an 8mth old and is 15 wks preganant.
id love another but DH wont entertain the idea at the moment plus we have always only wanted one and to be able to give them all theat we can but who knows in the future.
How many weeks are you then? whats you oh think lol?

you will learn to cope and i would imagine with 2 babies you probably wouldnt have worked anyway as they will be so close in age. Imagine having both the same day in terms of birthdays

Eeker Eeker Eeker OMG liz!!!!! congratulations hunnie woweeeee! please dont worry like you say it'll all work itself out.. my next door neighbour had a baby last sept and is due her 2nd this sept so there will be a year between those two but although she said she's had some funny looks off people she is over the moon as her first too 5 years to concieve. my brother and sister were born on the same day 3 years apart and love sharing a birthday.

if you're looking for a new job now you dont have to tell them you're pregnant and they can't discriminate against you or not give you the job because you are..

Sophie forgot to say there is a photographers in Sowerby bridge who does portrait pics and he charges the following:

£25 for half hour sitting with free 8x10 pic
or
free sitting for 1 hour with a minimum spend of £59

his pic costs are reasonable too for an 8x10 unframed its £15 or for £199 you can have a 16x20 pic fully framed and mounted.

he has a fab studio too and the pics he has up are amazing. Let me know if you want his details as we are going to him next week for our pics doing.

hey!

OMG what a day!!
before i start boxes of pampers from size three in asda are only £8!!
currently stocking up on size 4 at the mo so will stock a few more! lol

well got tomoro off as a holiday went to gp this afternoon who has got me to go to the eraly pregnancy clinic for a internal scan tomoro Frowner not nice! but at least i will know how far and if everything is ok, im used to these types of scans tho Frowner

think im getting my head around it now, the gp was great but when i was coming out i was told to make a appointment with the midwife, and whilst i did i made the appointment for harveys 4 months injections, well the receptionists eyes nearly fell out of her head!

my and DH have decided that as we live in a 2 bed we need to find out the sex of the baby also with money issues too, iv kept all of harveys clothes (i coulnt bear to give them away) and also looked at the type of pram i will need, unsure if the phil and teds one would suit me with children so young, (i know im flapping abit but if i can organise i feel better! lol)

anyways gotta go now
speak tomoro will let you all know how i get on liz xx

hi liz good luck with your scan today hope all goes well. you flap away hun i must say you sound a hell of a lot calmer than i would be if i were in your position lol. have you heard anything else from work about your redundancy?

me and jo have the phil and teds as we have toddlers as well as our babies, i really like mine (shame phoebe doesn't at the moment!) although they aren't cheap i think they're well worth the money because they convert into a single when you don't need it as a double any more. also they're as narrow as a single and 3 wheels so easy to push. there's lots of choice now on doubles though i'm sure you'll find one to suit you.

good idea keeping harvey's baby clothes, i've kept all of olivers and phoebes so if we have another baby we wont have to buy anything! ooh can't wait to hear what you're having, this is all so exciting!! Big Grin

thanks for the heads up on nappies at asda i'll have to get myself down there. Smiler

hope everyone else is well

x x

p.s got phoebe weighed yesterday she's now 13lb 3oz! and just moved up to size 3-6 months clothes..

hi!
at the scan they couldnt see anything because its too early im almost 5 weeks lol!

i have to go for a second scan next friday and may find more out.

just been to the local asda and picked some nappies up also got 6 tommee tippee bottles for £6 (im very proud of that!)

aww well done phoebe! im always sad when they move up clothes as i always have my favourites although happy because i have new variety!!

MIL had harvey whilst i went to hospital i didnt take the pram as he was only therte for a hour or so, she took him out in a BUGGY which was one of her older grandchildrens but the shoulder strapps were cut off!! give me strength!!
