liz, phoebe has been in her own room since she was 6 weeks, i did exactly the same with oliver. she instantly slept a lot longer as soon as i put her in there, probably because we weren't disturbing her. i think it's better to do it whilst they're still quite young that way they don't really notice the change.

if you're worried you could always keep the moniter on.

i've also recently started putting her down for naps in her cot, rather than her bouncey chair in the living room.

enjoy your bath!

Hi all,

Just a quickie to check in and keep you updated! Went back to work on Monday so have been really busy and tired. It was hard leaving Caitlin but she seems to be fine with our nanny.

She had her 3 month check on Friday and everything is fine. She is now 13lb 10 1/2 oz. She is a really happy baby and has settled into a really nice day and night routine. I was very naughty and started her on some baby rice though. I just give her a little before she goes to bed and she seems to really enjoy it. Have had no adverse reactions so far so will kepp her on just rice until she is 4 months and then introduce some more foods. I only did it because she seemed really hungry and she never drinks lots of milk. It is so hot here that I amtrying to get her to drink water too but she's not impressed!

Hope everyone is well and will be back when time allows!

Kirsteenxxx

hi all!
yeah, think its a good idea to move Harvey now, will speak to DH about it and its a good idea to leave the monitor on Karly! I think its me that is more upset about moving him but its for his own good,as Iv said he is getting used to it already!

Yeah I am eager to find out! no point in keep buying tests tho! too early I think, it will just cost me a fortune to keep buying them, but I do feel the same and not too sure that it would be such a bad thing to be honest Smiler ,

Poor lucy! nasty injections!¬ it breaks your heart doesnt it!? hope she is ok and not too grumpy foryou!

really proud of myself too lol sorted childcare tax out today yey!! (finaly got around to it) and like they say every little helps lol!

gonna go now, the neighbours are gonna think iv cracked up, im home alone and just watched big brother and luke jumped across the room, I was laughing so loud !! :P

Hi Girls

Hope evreyone is doing well, Kirsteen I dont even want to think about when I have to get back to work....

Karl happy belated Birthday to Oliver, what a big boy now!!

Liz good luck, when are you planning on doing the test?

Joanne, those jabs are always awful, good thing is that they dont remember them for long.

Monkey hope you and becki are doing well.

All ok here, no change, Ella still feeding every 2 hours, we also have a routine, she wakes up at 6, goes to sleep at 8, wakes up 10 or 11, sleeps then for another hour and then awake till 5 pm and naps till bath time.

I am running out of ideas what to do with ella when I am at home alone, cant really do much at home as I have to be with her, and apart from walking around, playmat, mobile, signing and talking to her I am not too sure what else to do. Do u girls sit with your baby the whole time at home or do stuff around the house ?? and what happens to the baby?

Gosia, Kirsteen glad to hear all is well. Poor you having to go back to work.

Gosia i leave Becki on her mat sometimes and do some jobs or lately she likes the tv so she is allowed half hour in the morning and half hour in the evening of Tigger and Pooh or Bear in the big blue house on play disney channel.
She will happily sit in her chair and watch me clean in the other rooms or will watch out the window in the lounge.

best go she is shouting at me lol

gosia bouncey chairs generally go up to about 20lbs or to when the baby can sit up unaided which is usually about 5-6months. i really reccomend them we have one upstairs and one downstairs they are honestly worth their weight in gold!

do you have eBay in south africa? maybe you could get one off there cheap?

sophie hope you had fun at venture today, did you get many pics

kirsteen, good to hear from you hun sounds like caitlin is doing really well, baby rice too what a big girl.

liz how is harvey getting on in his own room? i am so loving big brother, having a big catch up today as have it all on sky plus, can't believe they kicked dennis out i thought he was fab, good riddence to sylvia though, i hear she got 90% of the votes on friday..

it was olivers birthday party yesterday and it went really well. we hired a bouncey castle for the garden and had a bbq, it was a very hectic day but the kids enjoyed it and it didn't rain so i was pleased with that. my house is like a toy shop now though need to find somewhere to put it all!

phoebe is doing well, she it a lot better at bringing up wind now and so doesn't cry nearly as much as before and settles herself to sleep a lot better too, yippee! dunno what she weighs right now i'm getting her weighed on thursday.

hope you're all well

love
karly x
