hi girlies!

had a fab night out, went a bit overboard on the cocktails but i thought i might as well enjoy it whilst i could! was knackered yesterday but didn't have time for a hangover, too busy with the kids.

Sophie sorry to hear about your nightmare in the trafford centre and your useless dh - men eh!

gosh i bet you are knackered with eisa feeding so often. how old is he now and is he breast or bottle fed? how long has be being doing it for? if it's just a couple of days maybe he's just having a growth spurt, if he's bottle fed maybe giving upping his feed by an oz will help.

you shouldn't really start weaning until he's at least 4 months old as it's bad for the digestive system, and never put anything in his bottles. when you do try weaning it's best to start with baby rice, which you mix with a bit of milk, tells you how to make it on the box.

enjoy your photo sitting, venture are supposed to be really good.

joanne hope you had a good night out feels so good to have a break doesn't it. mmm your roast sounds so yummy, it's making me hungry now.

whats everyone doing for fathers day tomorrow? Df is working so we aren't really doing anything, ollie made him a card at toddlers yesterday from him and phoebe and i've ordered him a posh pen (sounds sad but i know he'll like it) that's engraved 'to Daddy, love Oliver and Phoebe x x'. got it off the internet but the bloody thing hasn't arrived yet i'm so annoyed!

gosia hun how are you getting on, haven't heard from you in a while? are you getting anywhere with Ella's feeds? my baby whisperer book came yesterday, i'm having a bash at the E.A.S.Y routine as of today, not going too bad so far the woman is a genius!

kirsteen, monkey, liz hope you and babies are well

take care all

love

Hi girls

havent had time to log on lately, where does the time go, I never knew a baby could be so absorbing!!

DH is lookingt after ella so i have a fdew minutes spare, but i need to bath her soon as it half past 7 now....
we have had some new developments lately, ella is eating so well, she is eatingt nearly 3oz at a time but still every 2 hours, sometimes she streches it to 3. the burse at the clin9ic said that she is just a baby that wants to eat like that and one day will improve, I am still thinking of doing the dummy thing but not too sure when.
went for her injections yestrday and cried her heart out, gave her a dummy and she stopped crying immediately so lately we have been giving her the dummy as I think she likes it now, she noe weighs 12.8lb which is good so her feeding is right even though its every 2 to 3 hours!
Ella also loves to sleep in my arms during the day and if I put her down she wakes up so I am either holding her while she sleeps or playing with her, so I am permanently busy.
But I am okay with it, she is going to grow up soon and I wont be able to hold her anymore so I am going to enjoy this as much as I can, I still marvel at her and cant believe she is mine!!

Monkey how long do you let becki play on the playmat? and karly I am finding it fifficult to do EASY as sometimes ella falls asleep after a feed and I dont have the heart to wake her...
glad you are enjoying the book.
all the moms that are bottle feeding: how long does the feed last?
talkint about feeding I am now breastfeeding once a day only and cant express as its just too sore, bit sad about it as I so so enjoyed breast feeding but oh well.....

Hey everybody

Hope your all well!

Well I put Harvey upto 8oz bottles and he has settled back onto his 4 feeds in 24 hours and sleeping through, (he had added one in the night and was extemely unsettled) I was unsure if it was his tooth, his routine been upset or just that he was ready for more food,.
After putting him up he seems more settled although he is still draining his bottle and has begun to get upset when he finishes asif he wants more although after burping he goes to sleep. Is upping another oz too much?? not sure if he needs it although if he takes it he will stop if he is full or bring it back wont he. oh I dont want to be stuffing him because I have a feeling that no matter what I put in the bottle he will totally devour it!! lol

Been having a look on the net for help with my belly, there is treatments that I can have done but like my mum said they could get rid of the marks but still leave my tum all loose and well like it is without helping.
I know that its unlikely to help but Im gonna go to GP and see what they can advise!

gonna go get my stuff ready for work tomoro

soeak soon liz x

Hi Liz
Stretch marks are part of our lifes hun your gp might be able to suggest something but i don't think anything is a quick fix thing sorry this is making you feel low hugs to you as for upping the milk you could always up it but if he stops draining the bottle then lower the oz's again Lucy is now on 7oz & she still drains them the majority of the time.... It does slow down mind you joel never had 9oz feeds i don't think he went past 7oz,

I hope your all well

eisa is having 5oz will just about finish that i have tried upping it an oz but hes not having any of it.
Hes been doing this for nearly three weeks, i am going loopy.
decided not to try any food as it is too early... only need to wait another week....

he is 3 months 3 weeks we had jabs today. so hes even more restless...

shoot at venture went really good, got the price list after was in shock 1 7*5 in £295 ridiculos..

i live just in between leeds and bradford joanne.

Liz sweet there is an asian method of fading stretch marks that is live youghrt cheap is fine and gram flour which you can pick up from any asian indian supermarket, mix in to a paste and applly it to marks and leave for an hour each day keep going until your happy with the results.. my mum sis n sis in laws all swear by it.................

Hope everyone else is doing well....

Hi ladies and babies

we seem to have been so busy lately and out all the time.

been checkin in and reading when i get a few mins.

Gosia, Becki varies her time on the mat but averages 20 mins plus at a time. she rolls to her side loads and squeals with laughter. Good to hear Ella is starting to like the dummy.

Joanne, poor Lucy having chicken pox but atleast she gets it out the way. How is Joel?

Karly glad you enjoyed the night out.

Liz i got sretchmarks after i had Becki, non when pregnant but they appearedfter she arrived. ivebeen too lax with putting stuff on but need to start.

Sophie have u tried baby rice yet? woooh how expensive are venture pics..........

i think Becki is teething too poor love. She was weighed last week and she was 12lb 14oz and 15 week old. cant believe my baby will be 16 week on Friday. Thinking of trying her with baby rice next week.

Today its baby yoga, i must be crazy i never done yoga before i started the baby yoga, i still chuckle to myself when the teacher is doing it.

my friend called yesterday she has a 8mth old and has found out she is 3mth pregnant........ Evie will be 14mth when baby arrives. She tried for 6 yrs for Evie and concieved through IVF bu this one is natural conception. ....... She will have her hands full

Hi All

Caz Joel is fine but as i am spending so much time with Lucy he is getting tearful poor mite bless him!!!

I hope your friend is over the moon about the new baby Joel was ivf then i concieved naturally with Lucy so I know how she feels!!! but at least they will be close together... But our bodies do get kick started into these things LOL....

Well I spoke to my surgeons secretary yesterday re the tummy tuck to be told I am mad wanting the op so soon after Lucy's birth but I just said well i think its better now as Lucy will be toddling about in no time so could hinder my recovery time etc, So shes speaking to surgeon today will get a reply by the end of the week but was told from point of referal to op dates they are working on 18 weeks so around middle of october i think i am looking at... I had loads of family visit at the weekend & my cousin has agreed to have the kids for 1 week when i go into hospital being apart from them will be the hardest part!!!! But i know they will be spoilt lol....
I'm doing a big barbie this weekend so i really must get the lawn sorted then the shopping done,

Have decided to try & get on a social work course for september have an interview for 1st Aug.. If i get on both joel & lucy will go to nursery fulltime which i am nervous about but i know Joel loves his nursery..

Going to go Lucy awake for a feed bless her

hey girls!
been off work sick the past couple of days think its either my blood pressure or a virus, I keep goin dizzy and feeling sick meking a appointment with the doc after really need to go really got a list longer than my arm that i need to talk to her about.
someone even suggested that number two could be on its way and considering that i havent sorted the pill out yet there could be a chance so will just get her to rule that out too although i think its very unlikely.
Harvey has been really settled and is coming on leaps and bounds think irt could be because iv been home with him too and of course he misses mummy!! Smiler
Poor lucy! chicken pox! although iv heard its better for them to have them younger and get them out of the way,

Sophie I will look for tha gram flour, its worth a try! Smiler when I went to pixi foto they said that venture is VERY expensive, I paid £388 for 8 framed pics but 1 pic has 5 pictures in it and another has 4 so its not too bad and i think well worth it!

aww Monkey to Beckis weight!
Harevy was weighed on monday he weighs 16lb 3 oz which is only 11 oz gain in 2 weeks but HV said because he is so tall he is fine, and as for the wet feet not to worry (his feet got that wet with a cold sweat his chair was saturated!).

gonna go now got a mega headache coming on and harvey is asleep so might have a lie down :P

speak soon liz xx

hi all

sorry i've been AWOL for a while, had a lot on.. wedding planning, ollie's 2nd birthday saturday, getting ready for his party this saturday and today the house is upside down as we're having new carpets fitted.

everything is really good here though dispite the mayhem. phoebe has all of a sudden settled right down and looking after her has been a dream for the past week. she's been smiling loads and last night for the first time ever she slept through from 8pm - 7am - yay!

anyway, what have i missed?? excuse me if my personals are inacurate i've just had a bit of a scan.. sorry to hear harvey has been unsettled and you haven't been well, hope things get better for you soon.

jo - ooh exciting you have a date for your op! and good luck for your interview.

sophie how is eisa now has he settled back down? have you tried the baby rice??

gosia glad to hear things with ella are getting better..

hi all
well harvey seems to have settled back down,
I had to work till 6pm today and put him to bed at 7.30pm because he was extra grumpy and tired! funny enough he doesnt sleep when he is at nursery hes too nosey lol

Karly Im not sure I have done a test and it was negative but it was too early anyways, like I have said, everything seems to say yes well body wise, it seems very familiar!

well suppose time will tell lol

glad phoebe is sleeping through! its crazy how it does you good to sleep through!

Harvey has started to wake at about 5.30 and i know its naughty but i have put him in bed with me, although I dont sleep properly Im just soo tired and by the time it would take to settle him back in his cot it would be time to get up!! so settle for the extra half hour with him in bed!

thinking of putting him in his bedroom but unsure, people have said that they should be 6 months before you split them but I know of loads of people that have done it, hows it goin for you guys??

gotta go Im running a nice bath before bed! how sad is that its mnot even 8.30pm!!

speak soon liz xx
