Liz - glad Harvey enjoyed nursery. atleast he is near you when there.
re the teething, Becki is slavering loads and chews her fists and fingers, her dummy, she even puts her muslin squares and clothes in her mouth to chew on. Is this what Harvey is doing?

Is he in pain and crying with it? if not and he seems ok i wouldnt give him anything, he may be hardening his gums up. You can get teething powder from boots which is meant to be fab not sure of age for it, i have some in Becki's room so ill get it and check what it says.

Joanne - Have a fab birthday.

Be back soon

Hi All

Thanks for the birthday wishes its not been a bad day the sun is shining, Went for my post natel check & was sent home with anti biotics as i am still bleeding but have suffered since friday its either a womb infection or the pill injection i had last week gp gave me two weeks worth of antibiotics so nightmare, on the plus point I have lost another 2kgs & he has referred me for a tummy tuck so i should be done by the end of this year all being well the one thing i wont do is have a full photo taken as i hate my tummy & i cant blame the pregnancy LOL.....

Lucy has her checkup tomorrow, Shaun informed me last night he has booked the afternoon of so he can take me for dinner if i want to go now lets see the sun is shining I have a pile of paper work to do & my house is trashed lol Joels great at that so i think i might opt for a meal & sit in the beer garden of a local pub LMAO.....

Speak soon got loads to do

hi everyone
glad all is well and that caitlin seems to be getting back on track! on the other hand Harvey had me up twice in the night not sure if its hes teeth or the fact that he had pooed that totally unsettled him.
Monkey he seems ok and not in pain although he has been slavering loads and sucking and chewing his fist however this morning he was trying to pull the parott off his play arch to eat it and the cord off his relax chair so I figured he might need some teethers! So I spent a fortune in boots on teething rings and teething dummy things etc and he would sooner have his fist!
Normally he goes at least four hours between feeds and I let him go as long as he can but today Im not sure what time nursery gave him his bottle but he screamed a hour early forhis milk, hes also had 5 feeds today before bed and i gave him 8 oz, think it could be a growth spurt so will just go with the flow lol.

Happy Birthday Joanne!!

Taking Harvey to pixi foto tomoo and i know hes gonna cost me a fortune! the woman rang tonight and said that they take at least 20 pics she also said that I can order more later if i want to which i fel better about because im sure il want to buy them all!!!!

work was rubbish today was ready for walking although i am sure its my own fault in a way for going back so soon!

speak soon liz xx

evening all

happy birthday joanne hope you're enjoying your meal out.

kirsteen good for you, glad caitlins back on track.

liz just seen your new pics of harvey on FB, awwww he's so cute, i can understand why you spend a fortune at pixi photo.

had a right palava today. took the kids to matalan so df could cut the grass, and managed to lock ollie in the car and me and phoebe out! i was putting him in his car seat with the car keys in my mouth, didn't realise he'd pressed the key fob and locked the doors, then i chucked the key in the front seat whilst i went to get phoebe and shut the door.. called df who couldn't find the spare, luckily my friends husband is a car locksmith/windscreen guy and managed to get in the car without breaking the glass. poor ollie was stuck in there over an hour though bless him he was well sweaty when we got him out. i'm so thankful phoebe wasn't trapped in there with him i'd have broken the glass with my bare hands if she had been, doesn't bare thinking about.

anyway that's my news, what a terrible mother i am i feel awful but at least he's ok.

take care all

love

Karly you poor thing. You must have been frantic. Bless Ollie for being so good.

I had my own car trauma yesterday. I was going out for lunch and had managed to pack everything into the car, including the pushchair which is a feat in itself. Tried to start it and the battery was completely flat. Ended up putting Caitlin in a sling and walking for 15 minutes in 30 degrees to get a taxi. The tai had no seatbelts so I sat and held on to Caitlin for dear life! DH comes back on Friday so we can sort it out then.

Liz - good luck at Pixifoto today. Hope you manage to contain your spending!!!

Caitlin was up at 4.30 this morning so not quite as bad as 3am but not good! Will persevere for a few days and see if it passes....

Hope everyone is having a good day! Big Grin

morning all

kirsteen hun, how rubbish your car decided to conck out on you, bet you were baking walking in that heat! hope you get it fixed soon.

forgot to mention last night that we've had a bit of a breakthrough on phoebe going to sleep at night. usually it takes at least an hour but the other night something magical happened - she finally worked out how to suck her thumb! she was asleep in minutes - amazing!

also managed to leave df with both kids to go for a walk with weightwatchers last night and he didn't ring once! he put them both to bed and everything. i was gobsmacked but so pleased to be able to have a break.

has anyone else got a wii? my SIL just leant me hers and i'm a wii fit addict its FAB!

have a great day everyone

love

we have a wii and DH is mythering for a wii fit but after pixi foto i cant see that for a while!

the photography was fab, we managed to wittle it down to 8 but two are huge with 5 pics on and altogether it cost £388!!! but i just couldnt leave them, the pic of DH and harvey is brill and they asked idf they can use it on picture lease along with another of his hands and feed with our hands will have to give consent when we collect our pics, should have asked for a freebie lol!!

we also had one done with him were me and DH kissed him on his cheeks but its lovely and really natural i love them all!! only thing is iv not got enough walls! lol

just wanted to ask has any of you been blessed with stretch marks?? i have them all over my belly, legs and top of my arms but more on my belly now i can live with the fact that i will never wear a bikini again lol but i have that many my belly hangs! any ideas?? its really gettin me down!

Liz you poor soul 5 hours sleep is no good for anyone... I hope harvey settles soon for you hun.. As for the pics I thought if they used your for advertising purposes they are supposed to either pay you or offer a huge discount on your order....
Sorry i cant help with your stretch marks problems but i believe there is an ointment from Holland & Barrett which is quite good but as i am going down the route of having a tummy tuck & other things done if needed i'm the wrong person to ask i think.... But there again my over hang could house a family lol was told before i was pregnant i had a stone of excess skin so only option is going uner the knife for me!!!

I have been having a ongoing battle with Bounty myself, It has been a nightmare from the beginning if i did have any more babies which i doubt LOL, I would never have bounty take photos again!!!

Hows everyone else doing????

Speak soon

afternoon all

liz - didn't get any stretchmarks with ollie because i used bio oil religiously it's fab, got a bit sloppy when pregnant with phoebe though so i did get a few on my stomach. still using the bio oil now because it makes them fade, it's also good for scars. you can buy it from boots for about £8.00 might be worth a try?

glad you got some good pics at pixi photo, you're going to end up bankrupt at this rate! i agree they should give you some money off if they wanna use them.

sorry you had a naff night's sleep, me too.

wii fit is sold out here too but i believe you can order it in from toys r us?

well girls i'm going out for cocktails tonight i'm so excited! first time i've been out properly in about a year i know i'll regret it tomorrow but what the hell.

take care all

love

Hey
Hope you have enjoyed your cocktails!! im jelouse iv made do with a brew!!

I phones pixi foto to order a few more pics for parents and asked if they could discount me a picture that iv decided to get and after she checked with her manager she said no because it was our choice to give consent for it so hey ho it was worth a try! LOL Smiler

Im thinking of trying the bio oil i sed the palmers strech mark lotion?? all the way through the pregnancy and it was a lost cause! at 6 weeks gone i had them! wouldnt mind i wasnt showing and was the smallest i had been!!

seriously need to do something though thinking of starting aerobics and trying to tone it up a bit other than that iv told DHthat i would have surgery, its crazy how it nocks all of your confidence
