Sorry karly, didn't mean to scare you, lets stop talking about labour now!! Isn't it bloody freezing, it tried to snow here at the weekend but it didn't amount to much, think its because we are near the sea. I've been thinking of sending megan to nursery for a while now but have finally decided to wait until she's 2 becasue most of them have seperate areas for babies and then once they are 2 they move up with the older ones, and i think she wouldn't like it with lots of little ones so am gonna send her after june. We had a walk up to that capsized ship (riverdance) on saturday eve, it really looks massive just stuck in the sand, it's completeley on it's side now, don't know what they're gonna do with it now. DP reckons they'll end up cutting it up for salvage. Anyway that was a random post, gotta go at work,,, mandi x

Hiya all Karly- Dont be worrying about labour just think what you will have at the end of it a lovely new baba, A friend of mine said that when she had her 2nd she was more nervous, i suppose with your 1st ignorance is bliss!! Joshy is due to move up a room at nursery when he is 2 think he is ready for it now as most of his friends have moved and he his the oldest in the baby room, like you say with Mandy with Megan it makes sense to send her after june so she doesnt just get settled then moved again, Hi jayjay just wanted to say good on you for enrolling at uni,you will do well Well not much going on here its been raining all afternoon,Josh is full of cold again caught it from nursery, they say it is good for their immune system! so hope fully when he reaches 10 he will never have another cold again!!!!!!!! off to start tea now take care all jackie x x

Hi, Mandi you are right about them moving rooms when they are 2 at nursery, it is to do with the staff ratio and the level of mobility (my stepdad owns 2) Jacky Lucas is full of it too. Karly hope you are doing well I'm sure it wont be long now, don't forget to let us know. On the subject of labour and delivery, as you know I have 3 and have never been in labour, 3 planned sections all for different reasons. It's pouring down here so I am going to try and have a sort out, just can't seem to get anything done at the moment as lucas is so clingy because he is not well. take care Jayjay

HI karly, can't believe your 5 days over now, it must be dragging a bit now, i remember just how uncomfortable i felt right at the end, megan was 13 days late. I wonder what the options will be when you see your consultant, maybe they would want you to go in to be monitored or something. Is ollie excited about the new baby? I went out last night with a girlfriend it was soposed to be for a few drinks and a quiet night, well one thing led to another and we got really quite p#######d and so now i've been feeling really delicate all day, i had to go to asda this morning but god knows what i bought, i spent most of the time running after megan who was running as fast as she could up and down isles picking things up of the shelf and laughing, (little monkey). I ended up spending about £70, and we still got a take away tonight!!! I did get some pj's for my dd2 they were only £7. and a little yellow sun dress for megan for only £4. thats if we get any summer this year. I've been buying megan all sorts of new clothes just recently hoping we get some nice weather, I must go through her wardrobe and chuck some stuff out (to charity shop). it's jam packed at the minute i think she's got more clothes than the rest of us put together. I haven't managed to look at the other site yet, i tried before but couldn't access any forums, its probablly because my brain is mashed just now. Anyway hope everyones well , good luck karly with everything! , hi jackie and jay jay, love mandi x

hello my lovelies sorry i never posted my news on here lucky you were all stalking the pg thread! Ok so as you all know, my beautiful little girl Phoebe Jade was born last tuesday 15th April @ 13.49. I didn't get the water birth i was planning because the ward was crazy busy but i did have a relatively short and straightforward labour with just gas and air, no stitches, no drama. Things are a bit up in the air still, it's not easy dealing with a toddler and an unpredictable newborn but with the help of my star of a DF we're managing to muddle through. Phoebe doesn't settle too well at night so i'm not getting much sleep but she's slowly getting better. ollie has taken to her really well, he's the model big brother so far. he loves kissing and cuddling her (although he insists on sloppy kisses on the lips!)and is has enjoyed the attention he's had from the millions of guests we've had, especially since most have brought him presents too. we managed our first outing as a family of four today, just a quick walk with the dog but it felt like a real acheivement none the less. it was also the phil and teds maiden voyage and i must say i love it! anyway that's all my news, thanks for the well wishes x x love karly x

Hi everyone Very quiet on here i think people are maybe using the new site or just getting fed up? Karly sounds like your getting used to being a family of 4 now, i know what you mean about just going for a walk, i remember it takes millitary procission to remember everything and to even get out the door, so well done on getting out with the new pram, my friend has one of those prams and they do look great. Her little one now likes to sit in the big seat! There was a couple on gmtv this morning and they had just had identical triplet girls!! so when you are feeling tired and up in the night with phoebe just imagine having 3 !! Megan is at mil today, i don't normally work on fridays but i'm covering for someone else, i thought i might have problems dropping her off as she hasn't been for 2 weeks (half term) but she was really good and nanna has promised to take her to the park, its so much nicer coming to work when you know they're happy isn't it. I got a text last night from my friend who was due this weekend to say that she had her little boy at 4a.m. that morning,7lb 2oz. i think they are calling him either samuel or ruben, they already have a little girl phoebe who is 23months. can't wait to see him. I'm looking after my sisters little boy tomorrow he is 7 months so that will be fun with megan aswell !!! Anyway hope to catch up soon, hi jay jay and jackie, love mandi x

hi girls where is everyone been very quiet here recently? nothing much to report really, except that after a rebelious week oliver seems to have finally settled down now. it'll probably all go tits up again once daddy goes back to work but i'm just thankful he's calmed down for now as he was a right handful last week. we've heard back about his free for two nursery place, he's been accepted and so should be starting in september, hopefully at our first choice nursery. he'll get 4 terms of 8 hours (2 sessions) per week for free which will be good for him i think. birthdays will be rolling around soon can you believe it? now i have phoebe he suddenly seems to have grown over night i see him as a little boy now rather than a baby before i know it he'll be leaving home! what's everyone planning on getting for their birthdays? i have no idea he has thousands of toys already maybe i'll get something for the garden. anyway i'd better go i hope you're all well and enjoying your bank holiday weekend? take care love karly x
