hi ladies

still here i'm afraid. did have a false alarm a few days ago but nothing came of it, so i'm still waiting!

interesting you all stil use sleep suits ollie has been in proper pajamas since he was one, they make him look so grown up bless him.

nope i didnt watch the whistle blowers thing mandi wish i had. they've just started a scheme here called free for 2 where ollie will get 3 2 1/2 hour sessions at a nursery/childminder per week for free starting in september for 3 terms, i've just sent the application form off.

ollie never got christened we never got around to it, we're planning on having a double one with the new baby some time later this year.

he's just picked up the charming habit of taking his nappy off. this morning i went in and he'd taken his nappy and pajamas off and there was poo everywhere i had to throw everything (including his teddy) in the wash, stick him in the bath and then bleach his cot, absolutely minging!

jackie i hope you get used to your new haircut soon.

jayjay check you out and your arts and crafts (and you mandi with the bonnet) we haven't done anything like that really as ollie gets bored of sitting still so easily but we have made bunny cards at toddlers this morning.

mandi megans dress sounds sooo adorable i've so got pink envy right now.

best go have myself a rest whilst ollie is napping. thank god he still does.

take care all x x

love

Hi Karly

Yes Lucas knows how to do that as well!! lol!! That is why he is in sleepsuits and zipup ones too as he can undo the poppers on the others. We have had that happen it is horrible isn't it.

Lucas has learned to open our front door, he has been able to open the inside doors for a while, which is why I bought a gate for the living room door yesterday but dad let him out of that this morning and he went straight for the front door, little monkey.

Haven't tryed any crafty things with Lucas yet as he won't even sit still to read a book although he does do things like that in nursery.

Yeh on the nuresey thing, have you looked into which one you would be sending him to, I prefer nurseries to childminders if it is only for a few half days as, and I know it is a long way off but it does make the tranisition to school a lot easier. It will give you some time on your own with babs just at the time that he she will intracting which will be lovely.

Hiya all Smiler

Jayjay- Your house looks lovely i am surprised you havent had any viewings, i was told that houses move quicker in the spring so you will probably be inundated with viewings in the next couple of weeks.

Karly - hiya how you feelin hun? have you started to take it easy yet?

We have had joshy in pyjama's since he was about one as he kept on slippin over on our tiled kitchen floor, he still wears a vest that does up with the poppers so we haven't had a poo experiance yet!! can't say i am lookin forward to it!!!!!!!!!!!

He is full of cough and cold at the mo thou feelin very sorry for himself but it is all to do with his teeth as 2 of his molars are thru. We are just off to the park before tea.

evening all Smiler

jayjay your house is lovely i especially like the lounge and kitchen, don't take it personally it's not the house that's the reason you haven't any viewings it's probably the time of year. should pick up soon. have you been harrassing your estate sometimes they can be soo lazy. we had 3 all at once in the end and it really made them get their asses into gear once they knew they had competition. is this an option for you? it shouldn't cost you any more money it's only the agent that sells the house that gets the sale.

jackie poor joshy poorly again. ollie still hasn't got all his teeth either, just the fangs to come through he hasn't had a new tooth in ages.

as for me well still no baby. i know i know i'm so impatient i'm still 3 weeks off my due date but i just can't wait now! had another false alarm yesterday, this time real contractions went to hospital, 1cm dilated sent home and they dissapeared! i feel like such a fool i was sure that was it! hopefully it'll all kick start again in the next few days.

ollie stayed at mils overnight whilst this was al kicking off. yesterday seemed like the longest day of my life and i got really emotional at one point, crying because i missed him!

went to pick him up today and the first thing he said to me was 'missed you mummy' i nearly started bawling again he's never said that before.

anyway enough of my getting gooey on you guys, hope you're all ok, i'll check in again soon (hopefully with some baby news).

love to all

Hi all,

Jay jay like karly and jackie said your house does look lovely, very nicely presented. I'm always having a nosy on right move just to see whats out there and you'd be surprised at what rubbish is out there and they're asking the earth for them.

I do think people are being a bit wary now because of the economy etc, i know theres a lot of houses round us up for sale , think it's definately a buyers market.

Karly a bet you were disapointed when they sent you home hey? don't worry it'll all happen soon i'm sure, you'll have your little bundle here in no time. How long are you expecting to stay in hospital? Bet you'll want to get home to ollie asap. It'll be funny when he comes to visit imagining him when he was that size in a little plastic cot.

The christening went well on sunday, megan loved running around chasing balloons with the other children, she really isn't a baby anymore a proper little walking talking person!! ifkwim.

She has been a bit off colour recently and has hardly eaten anything in about 2 weeks, she is drinking plenty though, don't know what it is she is just cling and wants to be carried all the time, (unlike her). Last night after her tea which is the first proper meal she has eaten in ages about an hour later she threw the whole lot up, She was fine though no tears or anything, strange. We've been to toddlers today and i was telling a couple of my friends how she's not eating then just to prove me wrong she was asking for biscuits and bananas all morning!!

Jackie i hope josh if feeling better now.

Right i best get on megans asleep and i've got stacks of ironing to do!

Speak soon love mandi xx

Hi Girls,

Thank for the encouragement re house I think it is good too, I know I'm just feeling a bit disheartened about the no interest.

Mandi do you think megan could be cutting her back teeth like josh and ollie? I know Lucas was just like megan a few weeks ago he hardley ate and when he did he threw it all back up again.

Had to get a saftey gate for the living room door as Lucas has figured out how to open the front door.

Better go as he is trying to climb into the washing mashine.

afternoon all

jackie i never knew you lived in the midlands? me too. near birmingham and wow you're right it's well windy, been howling for the past 3 days now. chilly but it's still nice and sunny though, no snow here. me and ollie braved the elements to walk molly yesterday and almost got blown away it was like walking in a hurricane! today we've been keeping ourselves busy baking buns, made a right mess.

is joshy any better today?

mandi sorry to hear megan's gone off food, at least she's having lots of fluids and still happy in herself. if she's not ill maybe it's just a phase? a lot of toddlers go off food at some point as i know only too well with ollie's intermittant picky eating.

jayjay re opening the front door well ollie hasn't quite managed that yet but can open every other door. our house is cordened off with 3 stairgates atm and i'm thinking of getting a fourth for either babies room or living room to keep ollie and molly from bounding all over her/him i can see the poor thing being mithered constantly by the pair of them.

havent really being doing anything over this easter weekend other than DIY! painted the kitchen and patched up the holes in the walls molly had dug, the halls finished too now just got a load of glossing to do which i hate, keep putting it off.

i seem to have made peace with the whole being impatient to have the baby thing. in fact i've convinced myself i'll end up going overdue.. think it's the nerves kicking in i'm such a wimp!

anyway take care all and happy easter! we've even managed to get ollie a special diary free easter egg this year - the first time he's ever had chocolate!

love

Hi,

Karly Holland and barret do a lot of kids dairy free chocolate. They also do ice cream and milk shake although I never bought that I just used some nesquick in the soya.

Knoe what you mean about being windy it has been here in liverpool too, alot calmer today though.

We took the boys swimming yesterday and Lucas was terified he wouldn't let go of me he did start to enjoy it towards the end though.

jayjay was it the first time you'd ever taken lucas swimming? and silly question but - does he like going in the bath? we dont take ollie very often because of his skin but he loves it when we do and also loves the bath though ihave to do it very shallow as he likes lying down in the bath like he's seen me do!

Hi everyone

Glad you all had a good easter, ours was quite quiet, although we did go to blackpool tower on good friday it was a really good day, the highlight for megan was the circus, she loved it. they also have a childrens play centre called jungle jims and she had some fun in there too.

Apart from that we jus stayed at home doing diy and eating chocolate!! Megan was quite a handful on easter sunday to be honest i think it was too much chocolate (and smarties at mil)
Nothing would please her and she was throwing really awful tantrums, so we have made it plain and clear to my mum and mil to Never give her smarties! (we are only guessing its that but she doesn't normally behave like that and doesn't usually have all that choc)
I'm at work just now and so will try and catch up again later, customer just walked in!!
love mandi xx

Hi everyone

Just thought i'd grab 5 mins, megan's asleep , i only let her have about an hour and half now, otherwise she's wide awake at bedtime!

We've been to toddlers this morning and then a few of us went for lunch which was nice, my friends little boy (adam) has just turned 3 and megan thinks he's wonderful, but after a while they get a bit boisterous and i could tell that some of the other people were trying to have a quiet lunch so we came home, it;s been raining here and megan had her wellies on and just loved finding all the puddles to splash in.

Karly any news yet? I'm sorry i bet you get sick of hearing that question, i know i did when i was having megan, (she was 13days late), i tend to think they come when they're ready, i think they got my dates wrong in the beginning.

Have you decided on names yet? Is ollie getting excited, megan loves babies but can be a bit jealous sometimes.

Jay jay hows the house selling going? Have you had any viewers yet? I know when we were selling our house a lot of the viewers were just having a nosy so in the end i told the estate agents to only send people round who had sold their own and were in a position to make an offer, i got sick of running round tidying up all the time, ha ha.
Are you looking for somewhere bigger?
Have you thought about part exchanging?

Jackie hope you and Josh had a nice easter and are ok.

Wonder how Laura is, she hasn't been on in ages.

Anyway my hair is really greasy and i'm working tonight so i had better go and wash it whilst madam is asleep, she absolutely hates me drying my hair with hair dryer, she also doesn't like hand dryers (in public toilets) or the hoover really, does anyone else find this?
Also she has become quite clingy and yesterday when i dropped her at mil's whom she's been going to since age 4mnths, she absolutely screamed the place down and apparently took ages to settle once i'd gone, do you think it's a phase? she really isn't normally like this.
Just as i was thinking of sending her to nursery a couple of mornings, Typical!!
Anyway enough waffling,
speak soon, love mandi xx
