jackie i think to make the glitter name you need to click on one of ours, design your own then copy and paste the HTML (i think) code into your signature which is in your profile (click on Go - personal zone - profile - edit) the same as you did when you made your ticker. this should make the glitter sign appear in all your posts. hope this is right!

jayajay in glad lucas is putting on weight better now and i hope the new medicine works well for him.

me and ollie had a great time in leeds. im bit tired from all the driving but it was really worth it because my family were so happy to see him. had a great night out on friday too. rolled in at 3am hoping for a lie in the next day but ollie had other ideas, he got me up at 7am! usually he sleeps till at least 8.30am the little tinker.

laura is tyla any better now? any sign of her top teeth yet?

hope everyone else had a great weekend. x

Hi everyone,

Glad everyone had a good weekend, we didn;t do much as we are having a new kitchen fitted, so up to our eyes in it at the minute.
Did anyone see that 6month old baby on gmtv who has just started walking!!! apparently he crawled a 3 months. megan is now where near crawling let alone walking! It can't be good for their little bones to be walking so early surely.
Any way will catch up soon, love mandy

hi girls

glad all is well with everyone. Tyla has completley recovered now cough cold an sore throat all gone, after 2 days of takin the antibiotics an they were all finished on saturday. She's got her 2 top teeth sitting jus under the surface theyve been there 4 a few days or so now so hopefully will come through soon, shes eating very well an sleepin well too although we have a new wake up time of 6.30 although she will get in bed with me an have cuddles till 7.30.

Karly- i bet ollie is really proud of himself clappin his hands an crawling, Tyla has been pointing at things for the last week or so its so cute she points then wiggles her finger to tell us to ocme to her. Glad you had a good time out in leeds, its nice to let your hair down once in a while isnt it?

Jayjay- so glad your little man is doinbetter now an wat a good weight gain from last time, he's overtaken tyla now, i'm goin to get her weighed tomorro, i'm hopin she'll be well over 18lbs fingers crossed.

Mandi- i saw that baby in the paper today, i was so shocked i've heard of babies walkin at 8 1/2 months but 6 months wow, i was suprised wen tyla took her first steps a couple of weeks ago.

Jackie- hows josh doin?

Anyone else i missed how are you doin?

Take care

back from the dentist, ollie bit him when he put his finger in his mouth lol i dont think he was very impressed with him!

laura glad tylas better and the teethings not bothering her too much, the wiggly finger sounds so cute!

found out what my mystery present was, it's a theatre weekend in london to see dirty dancing. looking forward to it but it's gonna be hard leaving ollie for 2 nights. it's not untiljune tho so he'll be almost one. maybe i'll trust MIL to have him overnight again by then. Wink

just wondering if anyones upgraded car seats yet? the next size up we're getting is a forward facing one from 9 months (20lb) to 4 years. although oliver isnt 20lb yet he's pretty long so looks too big for his current one. we were thinking of getting him the new one when he reaches 9 months but should wait until he's 20lb?

think we're going for the maxicosi one.

Hi all

Karly- You can tell our little ones were born on the same day, Joshy has just started clapping last week and he went to the dentist on monday. You are lucky having a weekend away i haven't left joshy overnight yet, think we are planning a weekend away towards the end of the year.
We are already using a forward facing seat we have a britax one which i find much easier to get him in and out of and he enjoys facing forward especially on long journeys.

Laura- glad tyla is feelin better, hope her teeth dont cause her too much discomfort.

I can't believe that baby walking at six months just imagine that.

take care all

Hi Girls

Karly I have just bought a stage1 car seat as Lucas is too long for the baby one now, I think as long as Ollie fits in the new one then he should be fine. Halfords have a sale on Britax seats at the moment Britax first class seat is reduced to £89 and they are very good about letting you try them and will fit them in your car for you.

Laura glad Tyla is feeling better, how cute is the pointing, she seems so much more advanced that the boys.

Lucas has been clapping hands for a few weeks now but as soon as you say anything to him he stops. He is going all shy when people talk to him now and if someone he doesnt know talks to him he screams, he shy thing is cute but the screaming isn't.

I didn't see about that baby walking, can you imagine, it just wouldn't look right.

I don't think we will be leaving Lucas overnight for a long time yet as we have the other 2 it's not likely that anyone would have them all overnight.

Hi mandi and Jackie

Hi all

Glad to hear that all the babies are well and they all seem to becoming so grown up!!

Karly - I have had Jake in a foeward facing car seat for months, he hated the other one and would scream his head off. He is quite big (so probably firred the weight) but he has loved the seat from the moment I put him in it as he can see more.

I am having real problems with Jakes sleeping at night - think his teeth have been hurting this week - there are 4 coming through at the top, but he also seems to want to sleep on his tummy at night.I have him in a grobag and he seems to get wrapped in it as he turns over, also when he tries to sit or stand up. What do your babies sleep in can you offer any help please I am starting to feel like a zoombie!!!!!

Jayne glad to see that Lucas is putting on weight at last he looks a real cutie.

Hi to everyone else - I better go as I am meant to be working!!

Love Jack

Hi girls

Thought i'd pop on to say hi, had tyla weighed on wed an shes now 18lb 6oz so put on 10oz in the last 2 weeks so i was pleased. I went to the baby show today at the excel centre in docklands, an we had a good day but it wasnt as good as the one in earls court, it was quite small, but i did buy tyla her first pair of shoes from startrite, they are the soft ones for crawling an cruising, she was a size 2f an she couldnt wait to start walkin around with them on! Tyla also clapped for the first time wen we got bak this afternoon, but only seems to do it about 5 mins after we ask her!

Karly- I've still got tyla in her rear facing seat as i read on the internet somewhere that its the weight thats important wen movin them up and it worried me but tyla is also lookin verylong so if all the other girls have found it ok then go for it, i might go an get one tomorro now. I like mothercares own one, it is made with maxi-cosi but about £30-40 cheaper! Have a look on the mothercare website.

Jack- sorry to hear little man isnt sleepin so well, i've never used a sleepin bag so havent got any solutions for that one sorry mayb try usin a smaller one that he hasnt got so much to roll over with him!

Jay-Although tyla only clapped for the first time today she seems to do the same as lucas wen i try an show any1 or watch her!

Jackie- How was joshy wen you took him to the dentist? i've not taken tyla yet our app is next month.

Have a good weekend everyone

hi everyone
hope you all had a nice weekend, we went out ane bought megan a forward facing car seat from halfords (thanks jayne), she absolutely loves it and she can see everything now, she used to get a bit grumpy in the other one, this one is much better.
Also i noticed yesterday she has got a front tooth at the top now so i don't think the other one will be long as her bottom two came through virtually together.
Megans new trick is waving bye bye and everywhere we go she waves at people, she has been clapping for a while i think going to the music group for babies encouraged her to clap.
How much milk are your babies taking? Megan only has on bottle before bed and hardly takes any of it (about 3oz) When i took her to the clinic she had only put on 2oz in a month but the hv said its because she is much more active, but i've been worrying that she isn't having enough formula. So last night i gave her weetabix for her tea made with formula , just so she is getting some milk. she has plenty of yogurts and dairy products. anyway hope to hear from you all soon, mandy x
