Hi Annie I am using Dr Browns bottles at the moment, I bought them off ebay, I hope they will be ok with this milk as even on ebay they are expensive. I am glad to here Ross and Ellie are doing well on the new milk. My HV also said that my GP is very good and will give this milk on prescription if there is a need for it, so I am hoping it works. Hi to everyone. Jayjay

Hi girls and gorgeous babies, You all sound like you are doing great!!!! Well done. Elliott was weighed again today and is now 9lb at 18 days old. He's put on 8 oz since last week so I'm really pleased. Still going with the BF. Karly - How are you doing with the BF. It's hard work isn't it, but worth it. Hope you are all coping with the heat, it's horrid. Poor Elliott is just awake all the time trying to settle but can't. He sleeps really well, night before last he went from 12am right through to 7.30am. But because I'm feeding on demand it varies to when he gets fed and so when he goes to sleep. I'm going to try and get him into a routine, a nice bath, although he hates them at the moment! and then a feed and put him in his cot. Hopefully that will help with his sleeping patterns. Anyway, better fly. Take care everyone xxxxx

Hi Girls Kerry, Good to see you and Elliot are well, I am sure you will get into a routine soon. Started using the omnio-comfort yesterday and wow, Lucas had 3 oz at 6pm, 3oz at 8pm and 4oz at 10pm then woke up at 2.30am as he was cold so I wrapped him up and he had 1oz then slept till 7am then had another 4oz. Needless to say I am very happy, Lucas is much more contented in between feeds which means I am less on edge. Annie, The teats on the Dr Browns bottles seem to handle the milk fine, I do knoe that you can buy them on there own. Jayjay and Lucas

Hi Girls Looks like we're going to keep Cow and Gate in business!! Annie I am using the Advent medium flow which he seems to be coping with - it is so much thicker though. Sorry to ask but how are Ross and Lucas's poos on the milk. Jakes are very green at the moment, and although my HV didn't seem too worried it doesn't seem right to me. My HV reckons that as Jake is a big build 59.5 cm long and now weighing 12lb 8oz, he needs to feed up to keep going but his stomach can't cope with it yet. JayJay, like Lucas, it may also be due to the fact that he was born early - or the heat - to be honest I haven't a clue but he is more settled and thats all that matters. Lucy, Ruby is beautiful - how are you coping. I know what you mean about hormones - DS2 will start school in September and I took him for a story time and he seemed so grown up that I felt all emotional. Must go before Jake wakes, DS2&3 are at nursery. Love to all June Mums and babies. Jack

hi girls sorry it's been a while. Oliver is now 15 days old and thriving. HV came yesterday and weighed him, he's put on another 3oz and so now weighs 7lb 14oz. still breastfeeding him every 3 1/2 - 4 hours in the daytime, slowly getting into a routine now.. have taken him out loads this week, but as soon as he's in his carseat or pram he falls asleep, so he's been sleeping loads in the daytime, and as a result won't go to sleep after his bath at seven and more. in fact he's wide awake after we've bathed and fed him, and cranky and hard to settle. once I've given him last feed at 10.30pm he goes straight to sleep though, til about 4am, then again until about 9.30am. i know the answer is to keep him awake in the daytime more, but how do you keep a baby awake?????? it was mine and DH's anniversary this week, but we were too busy to even remember to buy each other a card. had a lovely day out with oliver though, and he's taking me out tonight (leaving Ollie with MIL i'm almost scared to leave him it's the first time ever) and as bought me a pressie - a personalised number plate for my new car - need to think of something to get him now! Going to get my hair done in a min, will be so nice to feel lovely again, as I've no time to do it at the moment. Maybe she'll be a able to shed some light on Ollie's blond patch in his head of black hair - maybe it's due to me getting highlights? also picking up my new car - really can't wait, today's going to be such a good day! Simon's going bk to work on monday, dreading it as we've had such a giggle getting used to being parents these past few weeks.. anyways better go - promise I'll be on more from next week hope those babies are ok and not running their mummies too ragged. love Karly x

Hi Girls Jack Lucas's poos are green aswell. I did notice that there was a little leaflet in the box that in the tinyest writing said that it would be, and that it was a sign that baby is getting used to it but it wont last forever. Karly I am sooo jelous of you going out with your pram, I'm still not fit enough. Lucy, I know all about hormonal teens DS1 is comming up for 14, enough said. Well tonight we managed 1 1/2 hours of colicy baby which is down from 3-4 hours so the new milk must be doing the job. Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying your babys. Jayjay

Hi girls and babies Just come up for air to talk to you all[ ] Although I've only had one more baby it feels like a lot more now we have four girls. The washing basket is never empty and the cupboards are always empty. The hoover comes out about 3 times a day and the cleaning never stops!! Ruby is doing really well she is now 7lb 2oz she sleeps well at night and loves her dummy which is great whilst I am shopping. I have found my zapp pram a godsend for school runs and shopping because its so small to get round the shops and really light. The only problem I have is when she is feeding she seems to spit some of the milk out so her bibs are soaking wet by the end. I have tried some different teats but its still the same can anyone help? Laura the photos of Tyla are gorgeous. She is beautiful. Hope everyone is well. Will go and see what mess Harriet has made while I have been talking to you. (She is painting[ ]) Love Lucy and Ruby[ ]

hi mummies laura i didn't see the photo links on your post until after I'd posted[:I] buti've seen them now and yes tyla is a real cutie! tried to put some photos of Oliver on photo bucket myself but this laptop is so craP AND SLOW it won't work !] Lucy good to hear from you girl. you sound well busy! i feel like i have my hands full with just Oliver to deal with, cant imagine how you and jack manage with 4! you sound like you're doing really well though good on you. your quinny zapp sounds good, DH is trying to persuade me to get one for when we go on holiday in October but I'm not sure..i have a right faff with the silvercross as its a bit massive but Ollie seems to love it so i wont moan. Oliver has a dummy too and what a godsend! i was origionally against giving him one but I'm so glad i bought some anyway. not sure what to reccomend about Ruby's milk spitting out, but i can say that the bottles i use when i express are the avent ones and i don't even use a bib as he doesn't spill a drop! maybe worth a try.. anyways better go now as Ollies stirring.. Kerry, Annie, jayjay, jack, Sydney hope you and babies are all ok. love Karly & Oliver x x
