my daughter chelsea is 27mths old and wont go to bed by hereself. she sleeps in the same room as me and my partner. i want to try and get here to go to beb with out all the tantrums and making herself sick.

Hi I fear you will have to go through the crying bit if you want to move your little girl into her own room. My mother had a good trick with one of her grandchildren who always tried to make himself sick in a tantrum when he did not want something. She would calmly take him to the loo and advise him that if he needed to be sick the best thing was to throw up in the loo. So she would stand next to him and support him as if he was throwing up (gently). After a few occasions he stopped as he realised he was not getting anywhere.
