Hello all!

Hope ur ok, I'm not too bad. Erin slept through again last night, so we're doing well! 7 hrs most nights now, so I'm happy. Got to get ready in a minute, as mum and baby club is this morning. I'm looking forward to it! Kind of stuck on my weight loss thing at the moment. But hopefully, it'll help that I'm exercising now. Need to tone up ready for this holiday! And I only have 8 weeks to go!!! Eeker any ideas, as i can't really diet while i'm bfing.

Have started arranging the christening, its on 4th November. We have around 100 people coming already! I think its gonna be great. Although finding a venue is difficult! Gonna try to get the function room at Trent Bridge Inn in Nottingham, its got a huge room! I'm checkin it out later today. Well, better get ready then!

Morning

Tigger - can't believe she is sleeping through for 7 hours, do you want to get her to have a word with Daniel! Is she feeding alot during the day? Holiday and christening you are going to be busy, I want Daniel christened in November/December time, but DH will arrange it, we will use the church etc where he works, which is what we did for Emily. Can't help you with the weight thing though, I would imagine just do some walking. I suppose its quite restricting as you can't do too much exercise until your 6 week check up. I know my stomach muscles were not good and have exercises from the physio, they still don't feel right either.

Emma, love the chart, but can't believe Daniel is 4 weeks tomorrow. (Is that how long it is since I had 8-10 hours sleep)!

Morning to everyone else, and hope you all have had a good nights sleep. My DH is complaining he is tired!!bless him.

Catch you all later, off to put washing on, tidy up etc etc

Hi All

Emma - the chart looks fab - thanks so much for doing it. Hope your (..) have recovered!

Tigger - how are you managing 7 hours? Like Helen asked - how much is she feeding in the day? Aidan is going about every 3 hours between feeds and its the same at night - though sometimes we get 4 if we are lucky. Its great that she is putting on weight.
How is everyone else finding BFing? My boobs are getting too full between feeds which makes it hard for Aidan to latch on - as soon as they are a bit empty he latches on perfectly. Should i be expressing between feeds do you think? It feels like my whole life is about breast feeding at the moment - i cant imagine being able to go out and do it in a cafe or something discreetly as as we can only lie down at present!

We had our first family outing today - we went to a pub for lunch and then to the park for an ice cream. I fed Aidan on a rug in the park lying down with DH shielding us - we also managed a nappy change alfesco! It feels good to get out for a bit after being cooped up in the house. Still i must keep taking it easy as well otherise i'll be back on bedrest Frowner

How are you and Tom Emily?
Also Little - Katy Grace still behaving?
Helen - when are those builders leaving you in peace?

Still not got round to writing my birth story which i feel i need to do while its still fresh in my mind so that i have something to look back on.

Anyways i;m rambling now.....

Anna x

I am so pleased to hear you sounding a little brighter - and this is only after 2 weeks! Just imagine how you will be in a weeks time, and 2 weeks time Big Grin

We are both doing well and I am loving being a Mummy! Its great. We are off out for dinner tonight! DH is really keen to go, I have to confess I would be most happy just staying in and sticking to our usual routine that we are developing! Never mind - its good to get out whilst we can!

Well best be off!
Hope everyone else is well!!

Take care
Love Emily x x

hi just a quick reply to anna i would not advise expressing between feeds as then you will incourage your body to make more milk and then this will last longer where as if you can try to avoid it and in a few days this should settle.

must go jacob is not a happy bunny

Anna glad you are feeling better and its great to get out and about. Re the BF thing, I gave up and Daniel is on bottles. When I had mastitis I was so uncomfortable that as soon as it was gone he was on the bottle. I said I would only ever do it for a few weeks anyway. Also I have had up to 7 workmen here at a time and felt really uncomfortable. Talking of building it should all be finished next week. I should be happy because I have a new bedroom and en-suite but it has been really hard work having such a filthy house! What will I moan about when they are gone???

Emily, I think it is really important for us to have quality time with dh's! Hope you had a lovely meal. (How many times did you phone home to make sure he was alright?)

Emma, how are you managing with the 3 now dh has gone back to work? I reckon you must be ok because you find time to do the chart!!

Tigger, Erin is obviously feeding well. i am getting Daniel the spaniel (emilys nickname for him) weighed today.

Laurie, hope you are doing ok.

Little...how is it going??

Anyway Daniel went to bed at 7.30pm woke at 10.30 for a feed then 2.40am and then 6.30am. So today I feel quite refreshed after a decent nights sleep, especially as dh fed him at 10.30. However in my limited experience this normally means he will be a little tinker tonight.

Catch you all later

Helen

Hi Mums and babies, hope you are all doing fab !!

So sorry i havent been on here it has been hectic we have never had so many visitors. We haven't had one day yet without a housefull but i cant complain it has been really nice that all the family and friends have come to meet Samuel.

Me and Samuel are doing great. He is such a good contented baby and absolutely beautiful.Im loving being a mummy its the best thing ever !!me and hubby still have big grins from ear to ear we just cannot believe he is ours.

I will post my birth story quickly .....

Labour pains started at 7.45am on 30/7/07, went to hospital at 7.30pm and Samuel was born at 3.14am weighing 8lb 1oz. Labour wasn't half as bad as i was expecting it to be but then i did give the gas and air a wolloping !! hehehehe.Just had to have a couple of stitches as i had a small vaginal tear but that was it so was pleased with that.

Speak soon x

Hey Girls,

I did not kow what had happened and why no one was posting on the other site where we usually were until I read up on the posts that Emily created this new one. Sure glad I found you all again.
Sounds like everyone has been busy and doing well. As for my little ones I can't complain they have been so good and sleeping good at night especially Isabelle sometimes she only wakes up once and Aiden wakes up at least twice a night and then wakes up around 6am and stays up for an hour and a half then goes back to sleep. I must say that he loves being outdoors.Especially now that my son has footbal practice everyday from 6pm-8pm. It can get hectic at times but I manage I think that is why I have lost all my weight and back in shape. They are now both eating 6oz of formula every 4 hours or so. I will post a pix of them on the MSN.
Ana , I did not realize that your little one had the same name as my boy Aiden how cool is that? Alot of people ask me what their names are and they love the name Aiden. WEll let me catch up on the posts and I will try to do some personals later.
I can't believe my twins will be 2 months next week wow time sure is flying by quick.

Maria
