Hi All Sorry not been around - was doing the last masters assignment! At least i have the summer off now and we are going on holiday for 2 weeks to Corsica on Sunday. Also been busy with allottment and gradually talking to work again. Been in for a meeting today - wont be long before i am back - planning it for just after Aidan's first birthday. Laurie - i want to make Aidan a cake for his birthday too - are you doing anything special cake wise? I was going to have a surf on the net. Hi Emily - i empathise with the man flu thing! My little Aidan has a bit of a cough and runny nose and is bravely still enjoying himslef where as DH had an ingrown hair on his chin which felt like a lump and was trying to convince me it was a tumour! No teeth for Aidan yet - its dragging on .He is crawling a lot backwards and rolling around but not going forwards yet. However he can still move around the room - its a right mare trying to keep an eye on them now isnt it. Hi to Tigger - have you finished your studies yet? Have fun in cornwall. Emma - hope your doing ok. When is DH having his op? Hi to Helen and Daniel - hope he is better. Hi to everyone else too........... will catch up with you all after holiday Anna x

Emily, just seen the local news..I hope you weren't effected by those flash floods!! And is DH better, man flu is a serious illness which normally requires complete bed rest. Emily and Little how are you both feeling?? Anna have a fab holiday I am so jealous, the weather here is rubbish I would love a bit of sun. Think it is only about two months until we go on holiday to Spain. Laurie, how good are you to bake a cake for Daniels birthday. This Daniel will be having one from a supermarket!! I can't quite decide what to do for his birthday, I imagine a litle party. Where has that year gone. Daniel had another hospital appointment yesterday and had a barium swallow and x-rays. They seemed to show no obstruction which is a relief, there was a small amount of acid in the stomach but still doesn't really explain the sickness. However we have now gone 4 days with no sickness which is the most EVER. And he is looking so much better, he has colour in his cheeks and seems happier. We have 6 teeth now and he is up and about and can walk around using the furniture. Some poeple do get really competitive, Emily didn't walk til she was 14 months and never crawled, yet she was potty trained before her 2nd birthday and it only took a couple of days to train her.But does any of it matter....as long as they get there in the end. Anyway as all of the babies (soon to be toddlers) are fast approaching 1st birthdays, why don't we all put a photo on, it will be nice to see how they have grown. Take care Helen xx

Hi Helen Sweet of you to remember me in the floods! We were ok. Although know a few people who have been affected! Friends who own a restaurant My Dad was on the roof last evening clearing gutters in the POURING rain! It was unbelievable!! All is well so that is the main thing!!! Helen I am pleased to hear that Daniel has had 4 clear days! How on earth were they able to perform a Barium swallow?? Did they have to sedate him?? Poor little chap!! Although its good getting the all clear.. sometimes you need to know a cause for the problem, so you can do something about it! Fingers crossed for him! Did you ever receive Tom's excess that he sent in the post to you?? His spelling is still not great - so I hope the chub arrived and he got your address correct! I am also impressed with you Laurie for planning the cake. I will try and do something! but not sure what yet! We only want a small affair, knowing that we will have years of birthday parties to come... however I think there are a LOT of people expecting invites! I am sorry to say... they will have to get over it I dont mean to sound horrid... however you cant keep doing things ALL the time Well I have had the most amazing week watching Britain's Got Talent. Then tomorrow night its the final and also the final of I'd Do Anything!!! Ohhhh it doesnt get better I have to confess I am feeling a little glum at the moment. I am loving every minute of having Tom. My business is slowing taking off... I just find the days SOOOOO repetitive!! I feel like a horrible Mummy for saying it. I just need some time off!!! Just a few mornings or something!! I dont want to go back to be an Occupational Therapist just yet. Although people tell me its a waste of my degree etc... but I feel I need to do something! When my business gets going even more I am sure that will help! I will just have to wait and see!!! Anyway...less of my moaning! Life is great really. I just need to think of some more things to do with Tom Suggestions on a postcard please Well take care everyone Hope your all well. I am VERY jealous of your holidays Tigger and Anna!!! Chat soon Love Emily x x x x x

Emily There was a problem with the chub...right address, wrong person, it seems to have settled itself on to me! I spoke too soon and the projectile vomiting continues. The barium swallow was easier than I thought, they just gave him a bottle and he drank it, think there was a small amount of milk in it, but the lady said that because they have been starved for over 4 hours they always take it. He even stayed still for all of his x-rays. Also sounds like you need some me time. As much as I hated going back to work it is nice to be Helen and not Emily and Daniels mummy. I imagine the days can be repetitive, do you take Tom to lots of groups and things. (mind you sometimes they can be boring week in week out). You can always jump in the car and come to sunny (??) Plymouth! Hi to everyone else.. Love Helen xxx

hey guys, hope all are ok, hows the morning sickness Em and Little? Oh, I remember it well and I'm glad its not me right now, although it may as well be with the sickness bug I had last weekend! Erin has been to 2 of her friends birthday parties now, and we had a parents' evening at her nursery on Tuesday. She is very intelligent, is a bit of a 'gangleader' and is cheeky! But we knew that already! But there are a couple of things we didn't know, which is that she drinks out of a cup really well. So I'm transferring all drinks to cups if possible, apart from her last bottle at night. That's the cuddly one! I'm planning Erin's birthday party at the moment. She is having a baby bouncy castle, suitable for only 1-4 year olds, so it will be closely monitored. I'm not having a lawsuit on my hands for an injury like in the news! We go to Cornwall on Saturday, can't wait, am just at work writing lists of what else needs to be packed... I'm so excited! I'm off work after today, so I'm not really doing much work... Oh well, they're coping without me! How's Daniel Helen? Hope you find out what is causing his sickness soon. Anna, I'm still studying!(yes I am insane) I am carrying on with it, but have booked my courses so I have a break from April next year, until a few months after the wedding. That will be a change for me! I am also doing cake for Erin's birthday, with Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy, and probably Makka Pakka too. Has to be In the Night Garden! Well, I'm going to actually do some work, before I go home at 4.30pm. Joy!

Hi everyone, hope you are ok. Only a short note as I have Emily home from school today as she was being sick in the night (must be something about my family) but has now made a miraculous recovery and her and Daniel are chasing each other (crawling) round the lounge screaming and giggling. So by that you can tell Daniel seems to be better. He is still being sick but every 2/3 days now. He looks like a different boy now so much happier. We had a letter from the consultant and they do think it is probably reflux, although an allergy still hasn't been ruled out, we are still due to go back in a few weeks. Enough about me...Emily how are you feeling, I just saw your ticker and can't believe how quickly your pregnancy seems to be going. Laurie, how are you and Daniel and how is work?? Tigger did you have a nice holiday? Hi to everyone else Love Helen xx

Helen, Emily and Daniel certainly sound like they are having lots of fun! I'm so pleased that Daniel is better. Can't believe that it's taken this long to diagnoise (sp?) reflux. What allergy testing will you be having? Daniel is lactose intolerant and I've contacted my GP to find out what (if anything) can be done about that. I'm now waiting to see the paed doctor and dietician. Hopefully they can suggest something. He's meant to be having family meals from now on but it's very difficult to cook for us all without milk, cheese etc. Hope that everyone else is ok x
