We had a FAB holiday and rather disappointed to be back at home Never mind!

I have quickly caught up with all the news.... I think!

I am soooo soooo sad to hear about poor Lea. I cannot imagine how she and her DH must be feeling. Its such tragic news.

Well just a quickie this time as loads to do post holiday.

Tom was weighed today... 14lb10oz... height - 59cm!!!

Thanks for sharing your nappy info with me. I have tried huggies and i'm on pampers now.... not sure what else to try.

Furthermore, i've got 2 boxes (105 nappies in each box!) of pampers that i bought from Asda

hi girls not much from me again
got jacob weighed today he is 14lb 8oz so is double his birth weight today

laurie i use pampers new baby as they make them in size 3 and as am breastfeeding are best for the lovely deposits of picallily left by jake.also laurie to lift your milk you could try drinking loads and loads of water and expressing a little after each feed this should boost your supply

emily glad you had a good time and great weight gain for thomas obviously

little lea has lost a baby girl at 22 weeks. it is so awful after what happened with noah.

meg i find all h.v to be compleat (.)(.)'s and its better to ask other mums and go with your gut.

helen we are doing baby massage started today and jacob loved it and laughed all the way through.

Hope your all well???

Not much from me today yet!

Tom was a star last night and slept very well (even if it was in bed with me )

I am breast feeding indeed Laurie
I am struggling in the evenings with my milk supply however. It reduces so much and poor Tom is so hungry in the evenings desperate to feed
I have been expressing milk in the morning and then feeding it to him in the evening. This satisfies him nicely although I am not sure its helping my milk production.
I drink LOADS of water to try to help.

Does anyone have any other ideas?
I will post my question on its own thread I think to see what other Mummies think!!!

Pampers New Baby seem to be the best for Tom with the breast feeding poo!!! He is already on size three, so I dont know what we will do when he grows out of those!!!

When we were on holiday we bought the pampers out there! They werent quite the same as ours here and we had accidents here theere and everywhere!!! I have to say we are SOOOOO lucky to have such fantastic nappies available!

Oh my God, poor Lea. My thoughts are with her & her DH, especially after Noah.

Emma, when i tried to increase my milk supply i was drinking lots of water and expressing every 2hrs. After 2 weeks i didn't really notice any increase in my milk hence my being on tablets.

I've been using Pampers Active during the day and baby dry at night and we've had leaks with both of them. Think i might go back to huggies as we had less leaks with them.

Must go, Daniel is crying now!

Hi all

emily what makes you think your milk has dropped in the evening? i thought this too but it was just that jacob likes to cluster feed between 6 and 9 then he will go down for a big sleep i was told it is his way of ''feeding up for a long sleep''.
if you still feel you have a problem then i would sudgest you try the 24 hour method where you spend the whole day doing nothing but feeding and pumping this will boost your supply. do it on a day when hubby is there so he can do all
the cleaning and cooking

Hi Emily, hope you had a fab holiday, but notice you didn't bring the sunshine back with you!! When I bf Emily someone told me to eat some chocolate about 6ish to help the milk supply. Hey whether it works or not, it was very enjoyable and hence why I am now addicted!

Laurie, both of my babies have had pampers, for some reason I just don't get on with huggies and have always found them to leak more. Have you tried some of the supermarkets/boots own brands?


Well fingers crossed apart from a blip of one night, Daniel is still sleeping through and his feeding seems to have settled down a bit. Its great having our evenings back to ourselves as he is in bed by 6.15 and Emily is so exhausted from school she follows at 6.30. I am also having a 'spring cleaning' session v early and de cluttering everywhere including all my old clothes and tomorrow I am off with friend in tow to buy some new.....I imangine I wil come home with nothing, its always the way.

DH is currently watching the rugby and desperately wants Tonga to win...traitor!! If he loves Wales so much I have told him he can always go back and live with his mummy!!
