hey all, just thought i'd better post on here. i've noticed we are all loitering on the pregnancy forum waiting for the remaining few to give birth! hurry up mummies to be! also to add that the midwife gave erin her final weigh in before the health visitors take over her care, and she is now 8lb 14oz. Also, I was down to 11st 8.5lb yesterday when I weighed myself, and I'm really happy! My tummy is going down nicely as I have been dong the physio exercises the hospital gave me for the last few days, and my lumpy bit at the bottom seems to be shrinking... yay!!!

Emma it sounds like Jacob is doing really well. Daniel was weighed by the HV last week and was a healthy 7lb 1oz so has done well in his 2 weeks.
He is still quite a good baby but I am finding it difficult with still having the builders here, they have been here for 13 weeks now...we can't go upstairs during the day so we are couped up downstairs, Emily can't play in her bedroom and everyday after they go I have to start cleaning again....I think they are going to drive me MAD! Oh and DH went away for the weekend. Anyway enough about me, I hope all the other July mummies are ok, even if tired. Where are all the piccies?

hi all, well i've resorted to using a baby carrier when she's screaming, as the movement as i do the housework etc makes erin bring up her wind and puts her to sleep, but its like having a bump back in a different place! certainly is interesting...hope all mummies are ok, looking forward to the pics, although helen, i think me and you were very quick off the mark with ours! has anyone heard from meg? hope her labour isn't still going!

Tigger, it sounds like Erin has found her lungs just like Daniel has...I knew it was ony a matter of time. Then when they are sleeping, do you do the housework or try and catch 40 winks, then before I know it its time to pick Emily up. DH has gone back to work today, but then he went away for 3 days so used to coping on my own (although not very well). Oh my god, all I seem to do is moan at the moment!!!

Anyway, hope everyone else is ok, and hopefully Meg has some news for us???

Agggghhhhh
I cant believe we have finally made it onto the parenting thread
It seems so strange not being on the pregnancy thread anymore!

All is going well for us.
We are even managing to get some sleep Smiler

Tom is doing very well indeed.

BF is going well, although I am not always 100% sure about positions. Anyone know of any good videos or resources to access to help??
I spoke with the MW about it this morning, but just need to reassure myself a little more.
There is no problems with him feeding - we have LOADS of filled nappies!

Congratulations to Little and Anna

Fingers crossed for Meg.

Take care and I will log on again soon.
Off to try and find some resources on BF!!!

Love Emily x x
