Hi All,

Glad to see we all seem to be ok (just a little busy).
Jo Ney has baby eczema, we have Aqueous cream to use (which seems to have done the job now) as its nearly all gone (the eczema). Dont suppose that will work for you though if it isnt eczema that Jayden has.
My hair seems to be ok this time round, but with my last pregnancy i think i had a bit of hair loss!

Ive just been reminiscing and having a read over our old Pregnancy forum (at the begining when we all were joining after finding out we were pregnant) wow, that brought back some memories.
Dont know about anyone else but that all seems so long ago now. It feels like Ney has been here forever.

Well off to have a bath.
Take care all

Hey Everyone,

Arrgggg, my hair is falling out something chronic, can't believe it!

I've just been on facebook, trying to get the hang of it (not very successfully tho Roll Eyes)

Jake is fine, slept 12 hours again last night after several nights of waking for a bottle at 4am, i gave him a bit of brekkie in the morning and also a bit of tea not sure if that did the trick or not we'll see how tonight goes.....

Hope everyone is well

Bye for now

Hells xx

Hi all,

Yeah my hair is falling out loads at the moment is well annoying!!! find it everywhere.

Hells, I can't believe there is a due in Nov 08 thread already I remember this time last year wondering if the treatment had worked then finding out on the 9th March it had Smiler and now here she is three and a half months old.

Some exciting news well for me anyway! my mum is flying back for a week tonight so will get to spend Mothers day with her which is great then by the time she goes back it will only be three and a half weeks til we fly out there again!

Eloise had her second jabs on Wednesday and although she didn't like them at the time has been fine since and has had a few nights where she has slept longer so that is good as was starting to think I may need to start weaning her but will hold off for a while yet.

Anyway best dash catch up soon

Take care

Hi,
So I'm not the only one that's suffering with hair loss! Not that I wish it on people, but it's put my mind at rest. Just hope that it doesn't go on for too long!

Sab, that's lovely that you'll be able to spend Mother's day with your Mum. I hope that you have a fantastic day, and the rest of the week with your Mum.

I tried Jayden on some solids last week and he wasn't at all bothered. But I started again this week, and he took some each day. This morning I tried him on Banana, and he loved it. (other times had been jar food, I got some as it was on offer or I had vouchers for).

His rash has now gone, and he is back to sleeping fairly long hours, at the minute he's going 6 to 7 hours, which suits me fine (at the minute anyway!).

I'm looking forward to my 1st Mother's day. Hubby's sister has invited us to dinner at hers. Mum and Dad are going too. We normally take her out to dinner, but can't this year beacause of her having chemo.

Hope everyone has great Mother's days, and lets hope that hubby's/partners are kind enough to let us mummies have a lie in.

Back soon
Jo

Hey folks hope everyone had good Mummies days - I got a home made card with Alices name in it twice because she was just SO eager! Lol Big Grin

We've all had colds & chest infections this week and Sonny ended up in hospital Wednesday giving gallons of blood as he got a purple rash which didn't blanch when pressed (thankfully not serious), but we have to take him to the GP this afternoon as he was due to have his 16 week jabs (Doubt he'll have them now), but got an answerphone message saying we need to chat with the Dr as his blood tests show he is anaemic, though I have no idea how - he is fully formula fed, so surely he is geting all the dietary nutrients he should?! Confused

Would love to know if anyone else has come across this in babies - will let you know the outcome once we have seen the Dr!

Take care
Cx

P.s. thanks for the well wishes I dealt with the christening stress with a lot of Vodka, and it did the trick with the day going very well. Wink

Hi All,

Sorry to all the women experiencing hair loss & Cludgie im glad the christening went well.

Had Ney weighed today, and she weighs in at 15lb 5oz's. Thats only a pounds increase in four weeks though. So HV says increase her feeds as she's dropped a bit on the line, even though, she's still well above average for her age (16 wks tomo).

Well im not really bothered about what they say, and may even start her on a bit of solids soon (against the advice of the HV to wait).

Im off now to have a quick tidy as family will be here soon. Its my 32nd bday today, and i dont feel a day over 21!!!!! (yeah right).

Take care all

Hi all,

Just a quick one from me had Eloise weighed today for the first time in four weeks and am pleased to say she has had a good gain as last time she had only put on 4 1/2 oz in ten days but in four weeks she has gone up from 11lb 13 1/2 oz to 13lb 8 oz!! so thats over a pound and a half and she has gone back up to her normal line now Smiler.

Take care

Hey Everyone,

Thought I'd pop on to say howdy, hope your all well.

Jake is doing well and back to his usual 12 hours (touch wood and thank god) but he has his third injections tomorrow Frowner.

As for me I'm knackered, I can sleep for 10 hours and feel like i've not slept at all! I have no motivation to do anything, just can't be bothered Roll Eyes Going to speak to doc tomorrow when i take jake. Not sure if maybe low iron levels again!

Bye for now

Hi all,
I feel like a bit of a gatecrasher cos its been sooo long since I last came on here! Glad everyone seems to be ok.

I cant believe how small all of your babies are... Ethan had his 8 week check and jabs just over a week ago and weighed 14lbs 1oz!
Hes given a couple of good nights sleep now aswell, going from 11pm - 6am. Lets hope hes not teasing me and hes really getting the hang of it.
Hes almost outgrown all of his 0-3 month things so I was washing all of his 3-6 month stuff like mad yesterday.
I went a little bit mad in the Debenhams sale last wed, brought him loads of things for the summer, but the rate hes growing he will prob be in them by April.

Im on Face book aswell, there are some pictures of Ethan on there if you want a look. Search for Vicki Bartley in the West Midlands.

Heres to more sleeping through.

Take care all.

Hi all,

Well it seems like all the other babies are sleeping through now, not Eloise! Frowner, she did go for 7 hours last night stirring once but settled but that is a first she still normally feeds every four or five hours in the night, thinking maybe its because she is BF or could be that I need to start her on some solids soon.

Hubby gave her a bottle of my milk last night and that allowed me to have a nice break.

Vicki, Hi have just searched for you on facebook but it didn't come up with any of that name in the West Midlands but maybe its just me not searching it right!!

Hi to everyone else is very quiet on here these days not heard from Rachel or Nicki in ages hope you are both ok and Jo, Char and Hels hope you are good

Take Care

Hi All,

Sab, Ney is only barely sleeping through the nite. I'll let you in to a secret. I've started adding half a baby rusk to Ney's last bottle at nite.
Yes i know im not suppose to do it but i was at the end of my tether. Ney was jus like Eloise, she was going between 3-5 hours (5 hours if i was lucky).
I use to put half a rusk in my other two babies bottles and there's nothing wrong with them!

I read up on why we are suppose to delay weaning but ive decided that what im doing with Ney is right for her.

Well hope Eloise gets better for you.

Hi all
Vicki, I've found you on facebook.

Well, Jayden was at Hospital today re his feet. The nurses are dead impressed with him. He has lots of movement with his feet and is weight bearing really well. He has 3 weeks today left of wearing boots and bar for 23 hours a day, then he only has to wear them at bed time Whoopy!!!!

Jayden is on solids now. He's doing really well, loves banana and yogurts. Has eaten loads today, I can hardly keep up with him!!!

Jayden is getting better with his sleeping. He was doing 9 hours but then I started dream feeding (back in Jan) and he has never been the same sice (For the worse). He is getting back up to those hours now. We seem to have a week of doing 6/7 hours then, and not sure why, he goes back to 4 hours at night for a while! But he's so good in the day, i don't mind too much!! Not for one minute saying I want it to continue for too long thow!

Jayden learnt to roll over last Wed, he does it all by himself. He props himself up on his elbows and has a good old look around, then he gets grumpy. He's not mastered the art of rolling back yet. But don't think it will be too long!

Hope everyone is ok
Jo & Jayden
