hi all, hope all babies are doing well and mummies and daddies doing well too.
jayden had his 3rd jabs today, he had fallen asleep in his pushchair and was none too pleased to be woken just to have 3 needles stabbed in his legs!!! bless him, he didn't cry though just screamed at the nurse!!!
he's doing well with boots and bar, but does get annoyed with them. only 6 and half weeks left now, then he only has to wear them for 14 hours a day.
Sab, how's eloise getting on with her boots?
i'm still waiting for date of my op.
we are trying to sort out the christening, but it's not easy when it's over 120 miles away!!!
anyway, gotta go, jayden's sleeping on my lap at minute.
jo & jayden

Hey ladies - just popped on for a catch up, only to realise we'd all gone AWOL not just me - hope everyone is well? We've had some fun and games, DD is going through the terrible twos - YET AGAIN, I'd hoped they would pass by now as she is almost FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to put baby gate back on her bedroom due to hi jinx, hate her always being in trouble, but can't figure else how to deal with her, have tried TLC and lots of one on one time, but she just goes ahead and wrecks things and acts up - ended up with bleach in my all bran last week! Thankfully the little one is a bit better behaved, he is having very fretful evenings but has just cut his bottom two front teeth, which I think was bothering him, BUT he has slept through 3 out of the last 4 nights, we've has 11.30 - 6, then 9-4, 11.30-6 again, and today we got a whopping 11.30-7.50 - WOO HOO! Hope you are all well, am just savouring a moments peace so won't linger! Take care Cxx

Afternoon Girls Seems like we are all busy with our little ones. Well Millie is getting into a routine, she normally goes to bed at 8.30pm wakes up anywhere between 2am - 5am has a bottle then goes back to bed until 7 - 9am. It makes life so much easier with her only waking once for about 1/2 hour, so much so that DH and I take it in turns for alternate nights. Chloe is still doing well, she doesnt seem to be jealous at all. We still try and keep her involved as much as possible, she feeds Millie occasionally and always helps at nappy chnage time. Lets hope it continues. I cant remeber if I have said before but just before I had Millie my work annouced that they were relocating the head office to Bristol, so my job was under the threat of redundancy. I have now had the formal letter and have had a meeting at work and it looks like I will not be returning to my current employer. I a not prepared to relocate, so I will be made redundant. If it all goes to plan my maternity leave finishes late August and I will officially leave my job on 31st August, so I will need to find a new job to start in September. Im not feeling to bad, the redundancy settlement is poor but there is nothing I can do about that, so just got to hope the right job comes along for September. As for me I have good and bad days. My weight seems to be increasing instead of shrinking but I hope to try and get my eating under control soon. Just trying not to put to much pressure on myself at the minute. Have got my smear test on Friday, its a retest from last year as it came back abnormal. By the time the results came back I was already pregnant with Millie so I couldnt do anything last year. Fingers crossed it has all returned to normal. Anyway better go Take Care Emma

Hey Everyone, It appears to have gone really quiet on here....i must admit, I bought myself a Nintendo DS and now spend most evening tacking crime scenes on the CSI game! Well, Jake's had manflu for just over a week now , I'd have never thought such a small child could produce so much snot . Jake got weighed today...16lb 8oz, he is 15 weeks old on Thursday. He was back to usual 12 hours at night for a while but has now started waking at 3 -4am for a bottle, health visitor thinks he could be ready for a bit of food so I'm off to a weaning party on thursday! I'm feeling depressed about my weight (have done for years though so its def not PND!) can't seem to have any willpower, the chocolate hob nobs call out to me everytime i open the cupboard or everytime i have a cup of tea! Not much else to report, we've sorted a nursery out for Jake, went off the childminder idea as didn;t really like her house , she didn't have anywhere for Jake to nap during the day. Anyway I'm back to work on 2nd June Hope everyone else is ok Bye for now Hells & Jake xxx

Hello all, Glad to see some activity here again. Chloe's doing really well, except for the sleeping. She was going about 12 hours with just one feed, but now she's up to 4 the last few nights. I'm exhausted! I'm hoping it's just a growth spurt. Beans, how is dd doing with sleeping? I know breastfed babies don't tend to go as long in the nigght, but 4 times is ridiculous! My weight is okay... not as good as I had wanted it to be. I have 4 lbs to go until prepregnancy weight, but my stomach still needs a lot of work. I've been swimming 3 times a week and walking about 15 miles a week (but that's because I don't drive in England!) I think after 2 more months of this things might be back to normal. Well, hopefully, becase we're going to Cyprus at the end of March! Must add some pilates in to tone up my stomach.. DS starts preschool today. I can't believe it! I'll be trying not to cry when I drop him off! But I'll really enjoy the time with just one child! Emma, good luck with the smear. I had an abnormal result a few years ago, and the next test came up clear. Not sure if I mentioned it here or not, but we're moving back to the US in Juky. So between now and then we've got to ship/sell everything... yuck. Hope you're all doing well!! Rachel

Morning All Hells, I am with you on the weight thing. Mine isnt Choc Hobnobs but Choc Digestives and I feel so guilty afterwards but then a few hours later my hand is back in the biscuit tin!! I had tried statring to exercise but it really hurt my shins and then afterwards my knees, espically walking up stairs. Maybe I overdone it and should of taken it easier. Think I will try and get back into doing it, but at a slower pace. I know this might sound silly but according to all the charts I need to lose 7st to be in the health range and that in itself is really frightening me and somehow putting me off as that is a lot of weight. I just seem to be going round in circles and getting more unhappy about it all. Anyway that is enough about me. Rachel - Good Luck with the packing up and mving back to the states, at least we will all be able to keep in contact via this site. Jo - Im glad Jaydens appt went well and he will soon be out of his boots. We have not done anything about a christening yet, as we cant really afford it until I am back at work. Plus it will be a double christening for us as we never got round to getting DD done, so we will be doing it together. Anyway better Go, Take Care Emma

Christenings?!? - Ours is Sunday and I'm more than a little frazzled. Have about 60 people coming from all over the place, a house full of guests for 4 days, and couldn't get a caterer so am catering it myself. Set off to buy the food today and the BL DY car wouldn't even start - ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sonny tried on his gown too, and he has grown and can't eve do up the top button now - I'm sure its a conspiracy! As a result have abandoned my diet this week, so am sure that'll upset me when I am weighed Monday! Sorry to have a rant but been stressed to the point of tears today! Cxx

Hi all, Well am back from my hols in Cyprus was lovely to see my mum but really sad saying goodbye and the weather wasn' that great but nevermind will be better when we go back in April 39 more sleeps to go!!! Eloise was brilliant on the plane and slept most of the way there and back just waking briefly to have something to eat, my DH dropped a bombshell the day before we were due to go and told me he wasn't coming with us, which made it really hard work for me with three kids to take abroad by myself . Jo, Eloise is getting on fine so far with her boots don't seem to bother her at all we shall see how well they are working when we go back on 11th March for a check up. Rach, well Eloise was going to sleep about 10pm then not waking until four ish but since our holiday the routine is all over the place and she was awake at 1am and 5am this morning Eloise was weighed before we went away and her weight gain has really slowed she only weighed 11lb 13 1/2oz which was only a gain of about 4 1/2 in 10 days, she will be weighed again on the 26th so am hoping she has put on a bit more by then. As for me am feeling quite down at the moment like I said before I went away am having a few issues with DS and these have not been resolved yet and have no motivation to lose the extra weight i'm carrying even though I used to love exercise can't seem to get going at the moment, would like to try and tone up before I go away again though. Hope everyone else is ok Take care Sab x

Hi everyone... It's so queit on here, where is everyone? Hope everyone is ok.
Claire, hope the christening went well. Sab, glad Eloise is getting on well with boots.
Jayden is ok. He came out in a rash last week. Took him to docs, who wasn't very helpful. Said that it was baby eczema. He didn't give me anything to put on it and said that it's a waste of time to stop using certain things and not to change anything. I took Jayden to weigh in on Tuesday. Spoke to health visitor about the rash, who said that it looked more like a viral rash to her. She said that it sounds like he's had a cold, but not a runny nose, and because he's not had a runny nose, the mucus has gone into his system and out in a rash, Also change in poo (colour and consistency ect).
Is any one else loosing their hair? Mine's falling out.
Jo & Jayden

Jo I have noticed in the past week that my hair is falling out. Im finding it is falling out all the time, its on my pillow in the morning, then Im finding it on my clothes during the day, plus when I brush it there is loads. Another thing I have noticed in the past couple of weeks is that and I know this may sound silly but I am having to wash my hair a lot more as it starts to hurt on the top of my head at the roots and it is so uncomfortable. Once its washed and brushed its better but then buy the next morning it all starts again. Twice now I have got up in the middle of the night as I cant sleep with the pain and washed my hair and then have had to put a towel on my pillow !! I hope everyone is ok and looking forward to Sunday. Has anybody got anything nice planned? We are off to MIL's in the morning and then we are off to my Mums for the afternoon. I am going to make the dinner and my sister is buying the dessert. We shall then take a walk to my Nans, who is reovering from a hip op. Dont know what DH has planned for me, breakfast in bed would be lovely. Anyway better go Emma
