Hey guys - sorry it has been an age, kind of had my head up my bum a bit recently! (figuratively speaking of course!) Wink

Have just read back, and glad everyone seems to be turning corners, Jo hope you are staying on top of things, I'd guess that if they said 2-4 weeks for results bad results would be back by 2 where the good ones will filter through (although the waiting must be awful), so am keeping everything crossed for you.

Sab three weeks until going away sounds fab, hopefully your mum will be settled in and you can all have some good quality time together.

Everyone else - hope your bundles are ok, and we are all getting the hang of our newest additions!

Did someone post about Christenings too? I have booked Sonny's for Feb 24th, and we have a guest list of about 80 people - we also have a tradition of going out the night before to wet the baby's head, as all of our best friends live about 200 miles away from us now, so when they all come up we hit the town to make the most of it, so am looking forward to that!

Can I just ask those who have had babies before roughly (if you can remember, as I certainly can't) when you had your first normal period again after giving birth. I am sure it should have reached me by now, especially as I have stopped breast feeding all together now - sonny is 11 weeks on Thursday!

TBH am a bit worried I may need to join another due on thread! Eeker Have been quite careful, but last few days have had a couple of sickly turns, and slightly sore b Eeker Eekerbs! I'm not prone to these as part of pms - ARGH PANIC!

Anyway that aside, we are doing ok - Alice was diagnosed with "Shock anoxic seizures", which is actually a good thing as it means her seizures aren't epileptic, and she should grow out of them, we just need to keep an eye on her in the mean time sonny's hip check was ok, and his hernia is (I think) starting to heal itself, so hoping to stay away from the hospital for a while now! Big Grin

And I have been uber good on my diet and just got my 1/2 stone award at slimming world - loads more to go yet though! Wink

Take care all - and please tell me its normal not to have a first period for so long - PLEASE!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Sab, yes i did cave and buy the bag! Made me feel better for all of 10 mins before jake started to scream and didn't stop until i left the shopping centre! He is such a drama king, he didn;t even have any tears have the time and was just screaming! It started again when i got home we reckon he went for about 80% of the day! Tired himself out though and slept from about 6pm til 5am had a bottle then went back to sleep til 9am Big Grin Glad you and dh had a nice evening, it makes you feel so much better doesn't it? Jake is staying out overnight in a couple of weeks with my brother and his wife (they have two already 10 and 3) we've arranged for a few friends to come round for food and beer!

Got Jake weighed today.....14lb 12oz. He is such a bruiser he makes my arms ache! I've changed his milk to cow and gate plus and am trying him with a little baby rice tomorrow to see if it settles him anymore in the day Roll Eyes

Hope everyone else is ok?

I cant remember how long it was before I got my period with Chloe, I wish I could.
I am in a similar situation as you, I thought my period was coming on Saturday as I started to bleed, but after intital light bleed it has been spotting only and it stopped yesterday. This is what happened when I fell pregnant with Millie.
We have only done it once since I had Millie, as I bled for just over 6 weeks after she was born and we didnt use any contraception.
After our mad moment DH did mention if that was a bit silly, but I told him we had to take Clomid to get pregnant with both girls, so I think we will be fine.
I will just have to wait and see what happens now, a bit like you.
Keep us updated.

Nickif
Im glad you are all doing well. We still have good and bad nights with Millie. The other night she slept from 11pm to 6am which was lovely then the next night she went from 10pm to 1.45am, then was awake til 4am !!
Im sure she will get there soon.

Jo
I hope your results are all ok and you can finally put it behind you.

Rachel
How are you doing?, I hope you are keeping well

Frenchie
Im glad you are doing ok, enjoy meeting up with you NCT class

Beanz
I hope you are feeling a little better, I bet you are counting the days down until you see you mum again. I am sure it will get easier over time.
Im glad you and DH had a nice time out, I must speak to mine about just the 2 of us going out soon I think we could do with it.

Hells
Glad to see that Jake is doing so well.
I havent ventured out to the shops with Millie yet on my own, I really must do it soon.

Got to go Millie had just kicked off big time!!

Speak Soon

Hi

Thanks to all for their well wishes.

I've not yet heard from hospital about my biopsy results. If I've not heard anything by monday i'll be phoning hosp to chase it up. I get my mri results next tues.
I'm feeling a bit better, i still have my down days, but they don't last long. Jayden keeps me going.

My mum in law had her breast cancer confirmed today, She has to have 8 sessios of chemo over 6 months. And after that may have to have a mysectomy (spelling!). So that's really sad.

Cludgie... I've had two periods since having Jayden, the first one only lasted 3 days, the second lasted 4 days. So not sure if they are real periods or not, They def not as long or as heavy as before being pregnant.
I am unable to take any kind of contraceptives, pills, injection or implant at the minute, as you can't take them if you have any problem with the liver. Roll on when i get the results!!!!

If any one else is on facebook, it would be nice to see some faces to go with names.

I'll update on results when i have them.

Jayden is still doing well on the new milk. It is a pitty that the doctors don't seem to have time for people now. Our docs have a new policy, if you phone in morning for an appointment, they get that nurse practioner to u back, talk to you, and if she thinks you need to see the doctor she'll make an appointment for you, if she doesn't think u need to see the doc, she will help if she can or get the doctor to phone you and talk to you!!!!!!! What is the world coming to?

Anyway, will post soon

Hey Everyone,

Jo, sorry to hear about your MIL, my mum has had breast cancer twice now, the second time she had a mastecomy, its not a nice op but there is always the option to have reconstructive surgery at the same time is she wants. Hope she is doing ok, the macmillan nurses are a great support. Glad Jayden is better on his new milk, and dont talk to me about gp's. Mine is a nightmare, you have to either ring up at 8:30 on the day or go to the surgery and queue up to get an appointment. When i was working it was a pain because i was always in work at 8:30 and you can never get through on the phone until 9am by which time all the appointments have gone. GGGRRRRRRRR Mad

Hope everyone else is ok, changed Jake's milk back to sma, he didn't like cow and gate and kept spitting it out yesterday Eeker so never ate much and so was up loads during the night Frowner, hopefully tonight will be better....

Bye for now

Hi all,

Jo, sorry to hear about your MIL Frowner

Hells, Hows it going with the sma? did you have a better night?, my doctors also have a weird system where you have to ring up tell the receptionist whats wrong and then they get the doctor to call you back to see if they think you need to go in?? Roll Eyes

Cludgie, well done with the weight loss, I seem to have come to a stand still with mine, I thought BF was supposed to help you lose weight Confused, doesn't seem to be working, that could be because of all the chocolate I suppose!!!

Well got back from taking DD to gymnastics last night and there was a message on my phone saying an appointment has been made for Eloise to see the consultant about her talipes next Tuesday Razzer, so am pleased that they seem to have pulled their finger out at last I mean she will only be nearly 11 weeks old by then!!!

Also when I saw the doctor for my 8 week check he agreed to give my DH another sperm test to check that they haven't come back (they couldn't say why they disapeared in the first place after us having one child already together) as I def don't want to go through having another baby!! that would be just my luck after all the stress we went through trying to conceive Eloise, anyway so he has to do that on Monday so we shall wait and see what the outcome is!.

Char, how you doing?

Rachel, not heard from you in while hope everything is ok?

Hi to everyone else

Take care

Sab x

Hey Everyone,

Jo - Jake has been in his own room since just before christmas, at first i had him in his moses basket sat in his cot and he is now just in his cot in a growbag, i have to say that it was the best thing we have done, he sleeps better and so do we. We have the monitor so we can hear him if he cries.

Sab, Jake is sooo much better now he is back on his sma, he is going from about 8pm til 6am, having a bottle then back to sleep til about 9am so we're well chuffed Big Grin, long may it continue!!!! (can't see it myself though Wink) hope Eloise's apointment goes well tomorrow xxx

Emma, glad to hear Millie is doing well and sleeping better, hopefully its the start of a good sleeping pattern Smiler

Char, Rach, Vicki, Nicki? How are you all doing? OK I hope

Bye for now

Hi Jo,

we did similarly to Hells - moved Reuben into his own room when he was 3 weeks old because he is such a noisy sleeper! so many grunts and noises!! We have the monitor and I am still feeding him in the middle of the night.

He's still in his moses basket - hoping to move him to his big boy cot in a couple of weeks.

F x

PS Hells/Jo, very jealous of your babies sleep!! Hoping our little man will get there some day...

Hey guys,

Just a quick one as think I have that wonderful Narvovirus thing - am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ill today! Frowner - Just trying to keep it away from the kids.

As for the debate re:sleeping in own room, we had alice in our room until she was 2 as we were rennovating the house and didn't have another room for her! I'll be moving sonny out long before that, but I'll probably do the recommended 6 months, as I'm not troubled by having him in our room, and certainly while he is sleeping shorter periods I don't want him waking everyone else up - Having said that he has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good last night going from 11.30pm to 6.30am for the first time ever - I really hope this is the shape of things to come, alice was sleeping about 12 hours by 3 months and I miss that! Razzer

Anyway, have had our little lump weighed, and he is now 12lb 6oz and has shot up so fast he has gon straight from newborn clothes to 3-6months without stopping at 0-3 in the middle! We now have nothing for him to wear, so am desperately e-baying for bigger stuff! I am thinking of taking him to my slimming class to pass round next week as I have now lost the equivalent of him in the past month which I am very chuffed about - I just hope this upset stomach helps things along, at least its worth feeling like rubbish for then!

I got the cotbed up this week (its fab and was only £10 off ebay so I love it even more), and sonny loves having his mobile to giggle at now, and it feels like real progress when I see him in it (odd eh?!).

Sadly after patting myself on the back that I was done with hospital appointments fior a while I now have to go back twice next week, I have to see a gynae consultant for a second opinion on the car crash I had, and how likely it was that that caused my miscarriage (well early symptoms started 30 minutes after the crash, which makes it quite clear to me!), and poor old sonny has another mystery growth on his back, I just hope this one doesn't go down before his appointment, so they can at least see what I'm talking about, but at least the health visitor has sen it too, so I know I'm not imagining things.

Anyway no big news other than that, not such a quick post - but managed to sit still for 5 minutes so maybe the storm is passing?!?!

Take care all - especially Jo - have been thinking of you, and hope your results were reassuring - either way you know we are all here, and waiting to hear from you.

Not looking forward to this weekend as my DH finally goes back to work and hes going back onto a night shift so i'll be doing the night feeds on my own and he really helps me with them.

Hope everyones ok and Cludgie I hope you havent got that bug, its very nasty, my friend had it and was very very ill.

Hi
Finally some good news. Liver is normal, and polyps are not cancerous Smiler I still have to see the doc that took biopsy's to see 2what he wants to do about them, leave them or remove them.
I now have to wait for my hospital to speak to specialist doctor/surgeon at St Mark's, London, to discuss the removal of gallbladder (because of gene i have i am extremely likely to get tumours in the wound, so advise needed). The specialist at London, will decide how it's best to do op, she may even want to do it in London. So I'm now waiting on her!!!!

Jayden is doing really well, health visitor came today, she is coming every month (i think it's to make sure that I'm not cracking up because of all the bad s**t that's going on to be honest, but it is nice!). Anyway, she is really impressed with his feet, and the care and treatment that he is receiving at Hull Royal Infirmary. He now weighs 12lb 2oz. He slept for 9hours last night. The health visitor suggested doing dream feeds, so are going to try one tonight!!

Thank you so much for all the kind words, they meant lots.

Hi all,

Jo, thats great news about your results Smiler

Eloise had her appointment yesterday with the consultant and she needs to wear special boots during the day time and they will see her again in 6-8 weeks they said it will be fine and should sort out without the need for surgery or casting which is great, they also said it was positional and was probably due to being squashed in the womb by my blood clot, but thankfully all the bones are normal just in the wrong place.

Hope everyone else ok

Take care
