Hey Everyone, Been AWOl for a while had no laptop then the days seem to pass me by in a blur! Jake is now one!!! God, where does the time go, he'll be starting school soon he definatly isn't a little baby anymore! He has 8 teeth now and is teething at the mo, biting on anything he can get his little hands on. No walking yet, dont think it will be anytime soon, he would much rather crawl - he can get there quicker! Question for you all....Jake grinds his teeth. HELP - it is driving me mad. Anyone experienced this? Should I take him to the dentist??? Hope everyone is ok, Yay to Eloise...is she the first walker???? Char - Ney got any pegs yet?? Happy birthday to her for Thursday xxx Hey to anyone else, speak to you soon, we're off to lanzarote on thursday for a week of sun and relaxation!!!!! Bye for now Hells & Jake xxx

Hi all, Wow really quiet on here!! hope everyone is ok??? Have been busy this end what with starting my new job and college don't seem to get five minutes to sit down but I guess it will be worth it! Eloise is great her feet don't seem to have held her back at all she has to see the consultant in a couple of weeks so we will find out how he thinks they are then, will need to get her some better shoes than the ones they give her at the moment as I don't think white open toe ones are going to be very good when she starts to toddle outside!!! Its so funny to see her walking about she seems like a real little person now, she definetely has a temper on her! Char, not heard from you for ages how was Neys birthday? Hi to everyone else Take care Sab and Eloise x

Hi guys! It took me a while to find this place again. Sorry I've been AWOL but I've been thinking about you all during the month of November! We're back in the States now. I enjoyed living in England, but my life feels so much more normal being back - with the huge exception of living with my parents until we figure out where we're going. DH finished his diving course and is now looking for work which is very difficult with the economy the way it is. Since I've been back I started up a small photography business which is starting to grow. It's very exciting for me as it allows me to work around the kids' schedules. Here's my site if you're interested: www.savorphotography.comNoah's in preschool and doing very well and little Chloe keeps me busy. She's running around nonstop and keeps up well with her big brother. She ended up with a head full of red hair which is quite a surprise! Her 12 month pics are here: Chloe's pics Well to be honest, the real reason I came back here is my cycle has got me really worried. I'm now on CD 49 and I'm sure I ovulated somewhere around CD 33. I've had cramps for the past few days but not even a hint of AF. I have no pg symptoms. I know the obvious thing to do is to test. I think I'll go do one tomorrow if still no AF but I'm pretty worried. We were very much preventing and having a baby with DH unemployed and with us not yet in our own house is not ideal. Hopefully all this worry is for nothing but what is meant to be will be, I suppose. I'll have to take some time and read through all the posts. Hope you're all taking care and enjoying the Christmas season!

Hi all.
Well where do I start?!!!!!
My little man has been poorly for over a month now. It all started when cow & gate added Lactose to their comfort range. This made Jayden wake in the night and scream uncontrolably for hours. We stopped the formula for 2 nights and stopped pure cow's milk for 2 weeks. After 2 nights he was a lot better, but not great. He then had his MMR jab 3 weeks ago, which resulted in my little man having the worst cold ever. He's nearly over that now. We started him on cow's ,ilk again this Sat, but sat night he was more unsettled than he has been for 4 nights. Last night (sun) he was really unsettled. I'm now not allowed to give him cow's milk, on advise from the doc. We are waiting for an appointment to see a peadiatrician to get it sorted.
Jayden still only weighs 19lb 12oz, that's the same as on 7th October.
He has 4 teeth, top and bottom 2.
He's still not walking (which I'm not really worried about). He is pulling himself up and sofa surfing, but that's it.
Jayden was christened on 23rd November (my 30th birthday) in Norfolk. The day itself was lovely, just bad weather. It snowed, which resulted in all hubby's family were late arriving, and some of my family not making it at all!!!! Jayden was an angel, he never cried and was full of smiles (which was great considering that the night before he was awake all night, only slept for hour in total, because he was in agony).
Anyway, Hope everyone else is good.
Jo & Jayden

Jo, I'm so sorry about little Jayden doing poorly. I hope things get better soon! I did a quick read through and I'm so sorry about what happened, Beanz. Nice to hear news from the rest of you. Sorry it had been so long since I'd logged on! I'll try finding you all on facebook. As for me, I tested later in the day, a bfn and AF the next day. Huge relief as two is enough for me. Hope you all are welL!

Hey Everyone, Hope you're all well and had good christmases and new years? Mine was ok, my mum has been poorly in the run up to christmas and was told she had pluerisy and possibly pnumonia(sp?) but she didn't seem to get better anyway, she ended up in hospital the day before new years eve cos she literally couldn't breath properly. She's been in since, they say she has had a slight heart failure but the problem is they don;t know why! More tests on the way over the next few days..... On a plus Jake is doing well, he's made a few steps here and there but nothing definate, he will happily push his trolly thing around everywhere though! Still got 8 teeth but a couple more are on their way. Question for everyone though -- Can your LO's use spoons yet? Jake can feed himself quite happily if I put it on the spoon for him but doesn't seem to be able to get it on the spoon properly. Is it normal at his age? He gets fed up when he can't do it and ends up sticking his hands in! Rach - good to hear from you! Glad you're more settled back home in the states and Noah and Chloe are such cuties xxxx Char, yes I also have a nightmare with this new bloody site x Jo, you poor thing, sounds like you having a tough time with little Jayden, hopefully though once he gets his appointment with the doc you should get some answers xxx Hi to everyone else, bye for now Hells & Jake xxxx

Hi all, Hells, sorry to hear about your mum hope the tests come back ok. As for using a spoon well I have let Eloise start using one in the last couple of days! I don't know whether thats late or not I just hate the mess!!! I let her have one spoon and I have another, she can't get anything on it either but if I put something on it she can eat it, so sounds like they are pretty similar. Eloise is great she is a right little character she says quite a few things now her favourite being "wheres it gone"! she was quite poorly just before Christmas and went off her food for about a week but thankfully she is better now. The only thing that bothers me is her not always sleeping through still grrrrr you would think she would be now!, but my mum has been staying for the last few weeks so she has been in with us which hasn't helped. Rachel, glad things are going well for you, and yes it was a tough time for me when I lost the baby and to be honest I am still finding it hard a few months down the line, not sure when I will feel better, soon hopefully! Char, hope you are well grrr to losing your post. Jo, I hope Jayden is feeling better. Hi to everyone else Take care Sab & Eloise x

Hi all Hells, Hope your Mum is soon out of hospital with some results.
Jayden is slightly better, only because he now has no milk or Dairy. We are at hospital monday with him to see the peadiatrician, so at last the ball will be start rolling!!!!!!
Jayden still only has 4 teeth, and still isn't walking. He took a step two days before xmas, another xmas eve, and 2 xmas day, but no more since!!!!
Jayden will hold a spoon, will put it to and in his mouth if it's empty, but if there's food on it he just plays with it!!!! He has a spoon and an empty bowl while i'm feeding him, which helps a lot otherwise he'd be trying to get in the bowl of food!!!!!
He's eating really well at the minute (prob shouldn't have said anything!!). He finally put weight on!!!!! I had him weighed xmas eve and he weighs....... 20lb 1oz, at last he's reached 20lb!!! He put 5oz on in 3 weeks. He's still in 6 to 9 month clothes, bless him.
Sab... Jayden still doesn'y sleep through the night. He is much better at night since he's had no cow's milk ect, but still wakes many times for his dummy and to play!!!!!! I know just how you feel!!!!!!
Anyway, hope everyone is ok
Back soon Jo & Jayden
