Thanks for all you positive thoughts for my dad, i took him to hos today but he didnt have chemo bcause he still feels so ill, he had to go and have a scan to check if there was anything obvious causing the pain and it turns out he has a blockage - so basically he is VERY constipated probably caused from the morphine so lets hope that clears soon!

I think it was you who asked how i prepare my formula?...well...I boil fresh water in the kettle and measure out the water into steralised bottles, put the lids on them and leave them to cool, sometimes i put them in the fridge but mostly i leave them at room temp. Then when Bethany is ready for feedeing i put the powder in and use it with in 2 hours (dont know how long you can keep other mixed up milk for but Aptimel says 2 hours)If im near a microwave ill heat it up for 10 seconds but if not she will drink at room temp. I bought a really handy milk dispenser thing from mothercare so when i go out i take the bottle of water and when she is ready for feed the powder is measured out already and i just pour into the water and serve!! x
Nicnak - How annoying the wrong parts turned up. Hope your hands are not hurting to much. LOL to your DH watching a bouncing ball!!
Loocy - Cant help you with the poo thing im afraid. Glad you got 5 hours sleep it makes all the difference doesn't it?

Sorry I havent posted for a while just seem to not have much time to do anything these days. Kyle is doing well he is now 12lb 8oz! Getting a big boy now. He is now too big for his moses basket so we put him in his cot in his own room last night. It took a while to get him settled at first but he finally went down at half 10 and that was him till half 5. He seems so much more comfy in his cot as he can now spread his little arms out properly. He got his first jags this morning, poor wee man was sleeping and he got such a fright when the first needle went in. It was terrible!
Nat - Kyle has just started to watch baby tv on sky, he loves it sits in his bouncer for ages glued to it! What car are you test driving?
Zoe - Good luck for tomorrow hun hope everything goes well. Hope you will put some photos on msn for us all to see!
Looocy - Kyle has just started to scream when he is trying to poo. There was never a problem before but now he seems to be finding it difficult to go and screams when he is passing wind. Does anyone think I should be worried about this?
Nic - Thanks for asking after me, im doing ok just dont seem to have much time to come on here anymore. Kyle went to bed earlier tonight so I have a chance to come on. Poor you having to manually pump all your milk. I express sometimes at night time to store in freezer incase I want to have a couple of glasses of wine at the weekend. I have the tommee tippee one and it does my head in how long it takes to express! Lets hope you get the right parts for your electric one soon.

Sorry I have not posted for a while....things have been a little manic here and I have not had time to do very much at all! It gets easier with 2 kids right????
Cora is doing really well now. She had her heel prick done yesterday and now weighs 8lbs 7ozs so only lost 5ozs which we are really pleased with. We have had a difficult first few days as her shoulder was a little sore and she seemed quite unsettled. Not to mention the fact she was starving and my milk was late coming in! My milk came in properly yesterday so she was much happier. Previously she fed for 6 out of 8 hours at night! It was crazy. Last night she fed at 11pm and then 4pm and 6pm so much better. DS loves her to bits but he is playing us up rotten! I guess he has a big adjustment to make too. It is tough right now but I am sure it will get easier :/
Sorry I don't have time to do personals now because DS is shouting for his breakfast! It sounds like all mums and babies are doing great! Well done to us all :-)
Ever, can i just say how sorry I am to hear about your sister. What an awfully sad thing to happen. Your family must be devastated and it must be so tough on you too. I really hope things improve for you. Big hug x

Nat - i make my bottles up the same way you do - ive never done bottles before, so im glad to know im doing it right!! I also make up a bottle of boiled water up to bed, with his powder measured into one of those dispensers, so need for a trip to the kitchen at 4am!
cherie - Poor Kyle & his jabs! Josh is due his 2nd set on Monday, and the 2nd dose is usually wore, so im not looking forward to it.
lea - Yes it gets easier! As soon as Cora settles down into a routine, you will feel much more relaxed. Im starting to find that having 3 kids isnt so stressfull, and starting to really enjoy having all 3 of them.
Well, today the kids break up for the summer holidays, lets see if im still so relaxed after 7 weeks of all 3 of them\! lol

Loocy- Riley was constipated for ages (he is formula fed though) he would seem to strain and strain and get just a pebble. i was offering him boiled water but wasnt shifting it then all of a suddne he just seemed to explode his nappy was loaded since then touch wood hes not been too bad but has been having 2 z of boiled water every day. sorry i have just realised that probably doesnt help you lol i was so scaredwhen dh went back to work that first week i actually cried when he left but after a few days it got easier still have my wobbly days though lol
lea- GLad you popped on i was wondering how you were getting on. glad cora is doing so well. Where did you choose her name from it beautiful? My dd is being a madam aswell not ecause of riley she adores him but i think its just her age sometimes i think she 3 going on13 lol we had world war 3 over washing her hair last night and then this morning again with what hair clip she wanted in her hair.
nik- sorry ou got the wrong parts lol @ dh watching the baby channel. weve got virgin so dont thinkwe get that channel. in my book it says that babies 4-8 weeks love black and white and today i have a black and white stripy top on and riley was mesmerised by it lol.

well im like a new women toady riley fed eery 3 hours yesterda 6oz a time from when he woke up but he went to sleep at about 9 then didnt wake until 6 OMG!!! i feel great this morning i got housework done and get this I managed to STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR WAhOOOOO i dont feel like a minging tramp for once lol!!
oh and before i go has anyone benn watching big bro!! Mario and Lisa freak me out. how foxy is dale though a pretty boy but still rugged my type of man haha
oh and who watches holly oaks(really i dont just watch tv) Max dies how mad is that i have watched hollyoaks since it came on like 10 years and i love max.
School holiday blimey your girls get them early dont think they break up here till the end of july. i swear when i was at school we never had so many holidays lol
I have to say regardig bottle making up with my dd the way you was told to do it back them was to just make them up completely with cooled boiled water and put them in the fridge then get them out and heat them up when needed. When we put riley on bottle the health visitor told us that we were not to completely make up the feed and just put the water in the bottle then add the powder when he needs feeding. i got to say that i dont do thss i do it the old way its just easier for me. my theory is it definalt hasnt harmed my dd or any of the other kids i know and it doesnt seem to be doing riley any harm lol
Oh i forgot to add ealier my dh go a 8ft trampoline yesterday i got on it and he was videoing my and dd on it and oh my god it was like the jelly michelin man lol
Lea - I'm just getting into the swing of posting again hun so give it 4 weeks and you'll be sailing don't worry! It does get easier!

get you finding time to post this morning, sorry about the rain, we're due some rain later, so maybe yours will come up here.
rach, i'm watching bb aswell and also find mario and lisa very weird!!! yay to getting a goodnights sleep and your hair straigtened. alanna is still being a dream at night. (touch wood) sleeping from midnight to 6am then going back to sleep until noon, but shes pretty much awake all evening and afternoon unless i take her out in the car.
jenpen, goodluck with the summer hols! josh looks like he's thriving btw, and oh so cute in your recent pics.

Does anyone else feel like they are losing weight like no ones business? Since last Saturday when i was still pregnant, I have lost 27 lbs...and it is still coming off. I am now at my pre-pregnancy weight (with added flubber!). I don't mind but is this happening to anyone else?

RachelJade - I did the same as you with the bottle making with my DD and have now been advised against it. There is always something new that they think of.
Just a quick post from me as it is absolutely manic this end. I don't have a minute to myself these days. Grace really likes Lincoln but is getting very jealous when he has to have a bottle and gets annoyed that I can't play with her all the time, she has now resulted in trying to hit Lincoln but thankfully hasn't succeeded yet.
Lincoln is doing well, he sleeps alot in the day and is a bit more wakey at night, which is a bit draining at times but he is very laid back so far and contented. He now weighs 9lbs 8oz the big porker!
I have managed to lose 12lbs in 18 days and now weigh 8 stone 8lbs so I am really chuffed with myself.
Right I had better go but will pop back soon to do more personals.

Nic - Ah hun you will get there, if you need any exercise tips I'm happy to help. I'm currently walking atleast 10 miles a week that's why the weight is dropping off.
Jenpen - You can usually tell when babies suck really hard on the teats. Grace used to get really frustrated and cry when she couldn't get the milk out quick enough. You can buy medium flow teats I believe, see how he get's on with them.
Nat - I hope that your Dad is feeling better soon hun.
