wow, get us lot on the parenting thread, woohoo!!!!!!!

lea and loocy the birth stories.

lea i was killing myself imagining your police escort, sounds like you had a pretty scary time of it right as she was born, alanna didn't have a good cry until she was about 12 hours old she just whimpered and blew bubbles, so i was worried too but i was assured she was just fine , she was probably in shock from being dragged out by her head.

looocy sorry you ended up in theater, those darn placentas not wanting to come out, sounds like you done really well honey, well done you. and thanks for starting this thread i know you must be rushed off your feet with 2 babies to look after.

jen has josh had his appt about his hernia yet? how'd he get on?

we seem to be missing loads of baby pics on msn, i hope you all get round to it soon i can't wait to see all your georgous babies.

Hi ladies, just wanted to pop on and say thank you to all of you who have posted 'good lucks' on the July/August thread. Also wanted to wish you all the best. We'll be seeing you on here in about 4-6 weeks, we don't have any late August due dates.

Good luck everyone - not that you need it of course - and thanks again

xx

Got to go to bed as its late. catch up when I can XXX

jenpen, alanna has been screaming at me for an hour, but she won't be put down so i'm cuddling her as i type, so know how you feel.

mantha, alanna has those spots too, some on her face but mostly on her chest and neck, what are you using, i've been putting aqueous cream on her but doesn't seem to be making much differance.

I'm here Big Grin I can't believe we are all finished now. I will miss our pregnancy talk but look forward to the parenting chat instead.

Loocy - thanks for starting our thread. I am still so pleased we both had our babies around the same time. How awful would it be now if one of us was still waiting on our own? I am sorry you had to go into theatre but really glad your little man is here safe and sound. I just noticed Cora is on the chart as Cora Louise. Can you change it to Cora Leanne please? Louise sounds nice but it is not what is on her birth certificate ;-) How is your DD getting on? DS is doing really well and he loves his baby sister.

I have been saying NEVER NEVER again but you only have to look at them to realise there is no such thing as NEVER. They are just so precious. DH has already mentioned number 3 and I am only 3 days gone lol.

Glad to see so many of us over here now.

jenpen- glad joshs appt went well. will he have it corrected in time? cuz riley has a half in half outy my nan said that in her day (lol) they were told to put a 2p on the belly button and bandage it tight and it would give the babaies the perfect innie. sounds a bit brutal to me lol

nik- hope your all doing ok? rileys time of not wantin to be put down is usuakky about 6 ish but e wont go to anyone else just me at that time.

lea- how are yo getting on? hows billy taken to cora?

as for us riley is doing well cant really complain too much just would like a bit more sleep. dd is being a bit of a mare im sure its cuz she not getting my undiveded attention so shes actng up. its hard in the week so at the wweekend i said were gonna have a girly day on sat and go swimming or something Smiler

Morning ladies

Hope everyone is ok?

I have a question/problem?..........

Bethany's head is always turned to the right, weather she is lying down or being held or in her car seat, is this normal? She can turn it to the left but just prefers to face right. I am worried she is going to get a stiff neck and then never be able to move it. I did speak to hv yesterday and she said to put her on her tummy 2 times a day for 2 mins to try and strengthen neck muscles and if that doesnt work she will need physio.
Do any of your babies always face one way or do they change direction and look straight ahead?

God im soooo worried about her now

Nat xx

hi nat!!

riley always prefers to turn is head to the left my hv said its probably how he laid inside me. its only when hes sleeping or in his carseat i put him on his front he loves it and is really strong with his head flings it about everywhere lol.

i thought i was so organised this morning got dd and riley ready for school and just as i lifted him to put him in his car seat he puked all down me. and got my hair. so i ran upsatirs to change only to find that i had no ironed jeans arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh i really am letting my self slip. so i ended up wearing a pair of dh jog bottoms i looked like a rite tramp. so this moring i decided that as soon as i got back i was on mission washing and ironing and yes youve geussed it riley has now decided that im not allowed to do any of that and i have to carry him with me. i keep trying to put him down in his chair but he screams ive fed him but still screaming unless he's in my arms so i have now given up and am sitting here witha cuppa doing some online shopping.

OH THE JOYS!!!!! Smiler Smiler

Hi Rach-jade- its a nightmare trying to do anything isnt it? My mil stayed last night so i managed to actually blowdry my hair this morning! I have put Bethany in her bouncer and wedged a blanket under her head so she cant face the right, she seems happy enough, she is fast asleep!
