hi joanna my son had the same problem when he was a baby. It is because she is not getting enough to drink like water with a little bit of suger its called oral thrush, when we give a drink such as milk to our baby we forget to give them a `drink` so try the water for a few days and you should notice a difference

I wouldn't give your baby sugar, cool boiled water should be no problem but sugar isn't recommended. Especially with the warm weather at the moment the water can only do good but minus the sugar!

Hey there! my daughter is now 8 months old and has white rings on her tounge since she was born the doctors have tested for everything including foot and mouth disease but nothing is wrong they just dont know what causes it but as it is not causing her any ndistress they said just to leave it. My advice is check it out with your doctor or health visitor it will most likely be nothing serious but white in their mouth can be signs of other things as well as thrush.
