Hi ladies...

VERY LONG TIME and no catch up!

I did pop on a while ago to see some bumps on the way! I have had a look at the bumples site too and joined but not sure where everyone is?

Well Joseph & Aidan are still keeping me very busy indeed! just going back to a single pram as Joseph wants to walk everywhere.(well sort of) Wanted to ask what people think of buggy boards?

Bubbly, Joseph had lots of teeth by 12months, but Aidan only has two and they've only just come through and he's 10 and a half mths now, perhaps he'll be a bit like Fleur?? They look so cute though all gummy!

well hope to hear from you girls soon, will pop on again later...

silky xxxxxxx

hey silky! so good to hear from you!

I still haven't set up or parenting group on bumples cause i wasn't sure who would come over and chat there? shall i set it up??

I can't beleive Aidan is over 10mths already! thats mad, time has flown by....

Fleur still has hardly any teeth 3 at the top with the 4th just coming through and 3 on the bottom and one back molar with a 2nd on it's way! i'm sure my boys had pretty much a full set of teeth by now considering she's 22mths old??! ah well not too worried....

How have you found things with two little ones?

Anna, how's your pregnancy going? how far gone are you now??

Kate, your time is getting closer to meet your little princess!! very exciting, i always keep an eye on you on your thread.

Llyn how are you and abbie doing hun??

Hi to everyone else, hope everyone is well, big hugs and tummy rubs to bumps :-) x x

Hi all

Sorry I havent been on for a while, dont know where time goes!!

Bubbly - Abbie doesnt have that many teeth really, 4 front ones at the top and 6 at the bttom with a couple more just peeping through! The rest are very reluctant to come! It doesnt stop her eating though, she munches most things!

Abbie talks non stop, she is so funny! I ask her what shes been doing at nursery and she tells me, she tells me what she'd like to eat (mostly she says pasta, peas and carrots though! strange child! especially at 6.30 in the mornings!)

We are going on holiday on saturday, not far, just a caravan on a Haven holiday. I am looking forward to it, just hoping that Abbie will sleep ok as she will have to sleep in a proper bed as there isnt enough room for the travel cot. Hoping to tire her out so much in the day though that she just flops! Pray for sunny weather for me please!!

Silky - good to hear from you, I too cant believe that Aiden is 10mths, I bet they keep you VERY busy!!

Kate & PJGirl - hope your pregnancies are going well. You must have lovely bumps now, not long to go is there?

Chloe - hope you are feeling ok and getting on well with your's too. have you had your scan yet?

Tallgirl - any bfp news yet? hope you are well

I cant believe our babies are almost 2! has anyone made any birthday plans yet? we are unsure what to do for Abbie's

Hi to anyone I've missed! Will try to pop back on before we go away

Lynn & Abbie xxx

hey ladies!

(why does that make me sound like a bingo caller?!)

Its been so quiet on here recently...I have to confess I have defected to the bumples site. I got hacked off with all the meanness on the TTC thread..

Hope you are all well - like lynn says, its insane that our babies are nearly two! Where did the time go?

As you know, I have spent the last ten months TTC and I am delighted (and slightly nervous!) to announce i have finally got a BFP! Woo hoo! Its super-duper early days yet, only 4+4, but got all my fingers and toes crossed that we have got ourselves a sticky bean and all will go well.

Thought I would let you all know!

Hurrah!!! congratulations Tallgirl. I must admit I was going trough old posts and saw you got a bfp from your FF link so I'm glad you've made it official! here's to a happy and healthy 9 months!

Chloe if you are reading ho is your pregnancy going? have you passed the 12 week milestone yet?

Well I'm fine, just over 7 weeks to go now but compared to my high risk pg with Ben its been textbook which is very odd but nice obviously. Ben is fine, he's such a chatterbox and his speech really good now and he's learning to count. He's in a bed now and some nights he keeps getting up which is a nightmare. I hope it settles before baby comes!

Some of youy have been talking about teeth. Ben has 16 and just has the back row of molars top and bottom to come through.

Right better go to bad in case Ben decides he's gonna keep getting up like last night.

Everyones back! How nice, I thought this thread had died.

Congratulations Tallgirl! I am so pleased for you. Did you sort you luteal phase problem then? I have always had a 10 day luteal phase but it seems not to have caused problems.

Kate1977 - it is so nice to hear you are having an easy pregnancy. You certainly deserve it this time round.

Lynnn - Anna also only asks for one type of food. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner she demands "Marmite toast". I ignore her and give her whatever and then she goes "Yum, marmite toast!".

Hi Bubbly!

Well I am 16 weeks now. The sickness is fading which is a relief. We have had a bit of worry as our nuchal scan showed an increased nuchal measurement of 3.1mm. This would normally make me high risk for Downs etc but we went to a private clinic in London called the Fetal Medicine Centre which pioneered the nuchal scan and all sorts of other ultrasound measurements that are indicators of chromosome problems. They measured other things not avaiable on the NHS (curve of baby's face, length of nose, a heart valve associated with Downs etc) and gave me a 1 in 5500 risk of Downs. He reckons that if the increased nuchal measurement is a sign of anything abnormal then it may be a heart problem rather than a chromosome one. I am having a detailed cardiac scan at 20 weeks so keep your fingers crossed for me.

On a brighter note is my 30th birthday this weekend and DH is taking us to a really lovely hotel for the weekend. I am so excited.

xx

Hi

So good to hear from you all

Tallgirl - massive CONGRATULATIONS on your bfp! Hope you are feeling ok and have a healthy 9 months!

Chloe - Happy Brithday for the weekend!! Really sorry to hear you had a risky nuchal scan though, good that you have been able to have it looked into further and are getting the extra care. i will keep everything crossed for your next scan

kate - hope the rest of your pregnancy goes this well and heres to a nice birth too!! you definitley deserve it this time

Has anyone else's lo had nightmares? the last couple of nights abbie has woken up really suddenly and just screamed. she isnt teething or in pain (as far as i know) just really upset. she soon settles again after a few cuddles. I just wondered if shes having bad dreams? poor thing!

We are going on our jollies tomorrow but will check back in soon

take care of yourselves/toddlers/babies and bumps!

Lynn xx

HI!!!!

Gosh i haven't been on here for absolutely ages!
Katie will be 2 next Friday and i started to wonder how you were all doing!

Kate - obviously i know how you are doing!!!! Not all that long left for you now hey?!?

PJ Girl - am i right in thinking you were due last week??? Any news as yet?

Tallgirl - congratulations on your new bump too - i'll be getting broody again with all these bumps!!!! I hope things are going well for you x

Chloe - how are things with you? Have you had your 20 wk scan yet? I hope everything works out well for you x

Lynn - how was your holiday? Which Haven site did you go to? We are off to one in Wales next Saturday! Great for the kids aren't they!

Bubbly - so what is the Bumples site? I did have a peek over on the ttc site a while back when Kate mentioned what was going on - As she said we'd been on here for so long and only ever had a couple of small blips - it's horrible that people can be so nasty!

Silky - hi - how are you? I had a buggy board when Katie was born for Dan. He used it a fair amount - the only down side is that it doesn't keep them confined if you want to do some serious shopping lol!!!!!!!

Anyway - i hope everyone is keeping well and that all our babies enjoy a fantastic 2nd birthday!!!!!!!! Can you believe it was 3 years ago that most of us first got together - more for some of us!!!!!

We are having a party at home for Katie - i have 12 littlies coming round - must be mad!!! Having a traditional party - jelly and ice cream, pass the parcel and all that! We have bought her a Little Tikes house for the garden and an In the Night Garden Og Pog scooter (on mega offer in Tesco at the mo! - £45 is Toys R Us but paid £17 in Tesco!!!)

Love to all

Karen and Katie

Karen - great to hear from you. Hope Katies' birthday party went well, you are braver than me having all those little ones round!

Our holiday was great, Abbie loved it. We went to Primrose Valley in Scarborough. It was perfect for Abbie. we did lots of swimming and picnics and played on the beach! and she loved the little disco's in the evening and dancing with all the other kids!!
She had a lovely birthday too and was well and truly spoilt! she got sooooo many toys and present s and loved opening them all!

I wonder how pj girl is? has her new baby arrived yet?

Happy birthday to all the other little toddlers! Hope you all had lovely times, would love to hear all about them

hey ladies!! gosh it's been such a long time!! you really should come check out the new site!

Fleur had a fab birthday!! can't beleive our babies are 2 now! my dh is desperate for another one! heNce we have not gone ahead with surrogacy for his sister, he said if i'm going to get pregnant again it's gonna be our baby and there is no way he could handle me carrying for someone else whilst he feels this way, so thats that!

We had a few friends round on fleur's b-day for a little party, but we had 30+ for a bbq yesterday and a total of 11 kids running around, was great fun though and fleur loved every minute!

Pleased to hear everyone is well, take care and get chatting! i miss you all x
