Hiya
I can't seem to get onto our MSN site to check out all the new pics. Its really annoying.
Bubbly - thanks for asking about the TTC. How are your thoughts on surrogacy developing?
I am still on the 2ww (I have long cycles of 33-35 days). I don't think we have much chance this month as DH has had a really, really bad back and when I was ovulating he was in so much pain he could hardly walk. I did jump on him on the crucial night but it was just the once (and I have to say that it was the least romantic, least spontaneous act I have indulged in!). We will see. TBH it is not the end of the world if it does not happen this month as I have a good chance of promotion in July as long as I don't look pregnant then.
Hope everyone is well. Anna is fine. She is a tantrum master at the moment but she is also lovely. She can count to three and is a real little joker at the mo.

Sorry, I also meant to say to Kate that I was really, really pleased to hear that your amnio came back all clear. You really deserve to enjoy this pregnancy and have a healthy little girl. I am so happy for you.

Ahh thanks Chloe. Good luck for the 2ww hun. Lynn, pic's of Abbie are so cute. She's changed so much! Bubbly, thanks for thinking of me and leaving me a message on my birth thread. Hi to everyone else x x I had my 20 week scan today, everyting normal and she measured spot on for dates - phew! madam was in an bad position and all we saw were body parts and they couldn't check everything so I had to go off for a walk for half an hour and have some chocolate and luckily she moved and they were able to check everything. She kept kicking at the probe which felt really odd and we saw her drinking! the lady gave me 2 scan pic's for free (supposed to pay £2 each) so that was really lovely of her. As I had gestational diabetes with Ben I have to have the glucose tolerence test in 4 weeks. Love to all, a relieved Kate

BFP, BFP, BFP!
I have just taken a First Response and am sitting at my desk watching the second line get darker!!!! I can't beleive it. I have had AF cramps for two days and was sure it was all over. Also DH and I only did it once this month. I can't beleive it!
Bloody DH is at the dentist so I cannot get hold of him...
I have the test hidden under a folder on my desk and I just keep peeking at it.

Chlole!!!! oh my god! congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm so pleased for you and your dh! well done Love the fact you've done a test a work too! lol hope everyone else is well? Ok here. Fleur has started playing up at bedtime though! anyone else had this? She used to just go down so well and now ahe screams hysterically and so much so she made herself sick the other night! and when she does get to sleep she then wakes up every couple of hours to scream some more! I feel cream crackered! To add to it the tantrums are madly impressive too! but she's probably tired which doesn't help, but she has stopped having a sleep in the day. Any thoughts?? x

Hello! Sorry its been a while but have been posting back on the TTC threads recently as its now 6 months that we have been trying. The whole site has gone a bit crazy though in the last few days so am just about to give up on the whole thing if it doesn't settle down and go back to being a nice place to be soon! Glad to hear everyones pregnancies are progressing well..I can't beleive how many people are on no. 2, all my NCT group have either had their second or are due to very soon. Not sure what DH and I have been doing wrong (!!) but hopefully we will join them soon. I'm not too stressed about it yet although I have started temping and poas etc which is probably not going to help matters! Sam is a proper tinker, sometimes gorgeous and sometimes incredibly naughty. I think he must have been really tired yesterday as he was behaving terribly, but he's still in bed this morning so I am going to leave him as late as poss in the hope he will be on better form today. His speech is really starting to pick up now - he tries to copy much more of what I say which is very cute. Ooooh - finally can hear him stirring. Quarter past nine! not bad. Love to all xxxx

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. Ben has had an 'eventful' weekend. Friday night he woke, got in a tiz and climbed out of his cot and went crashing to the floor . He was fine but we've had to take the sides off the cot and put a guard on now we know he can get out as its not safe. The first night he got up in the middle of the night but last night he slept through!!! he loves having a pillow too! And on Sat afternoon DH was making his tea and I was on the sofa (with a terrible tummy bug). Anyway Ben climbed on a chair which fell over and he cracked his head on the door frame so we had to rush to A&E to get it glued and stitched. He was so brave and is fine, I'm sure its the first of many scrapes unfortunately. MESSAGE FOR TALLGIRL So i had a tummy bug at the weekend and DH had it last week. Ben had rotovirus 3 weeks ago but I think he's been affected by our bug too. He's fussy with food and had diarrhoea last Weds and ever since his poo's have been soft and sandy yellow colour. I'm waiting to see if it improves before going to the dr's. Tallgirl does this sound consistent with a tummy upset? he's not showing any other signs apart from not eating great. He's not jaundiced or anything or itchy. I'm trying not to worry, he had yellow poo's for a while after the rotovirus but it didn't last as long.

hey kate yeah - sounds like he may either have a bit of your tummy bug, or sometimes it just takes a while after a bug like rotavirus to get all the little hairs in the bowel to work properly again, so they can have soft or funny poo for a while. as long as he is ok in himself i doubt the dr would do much. The only other thing is they are all approaching the age where they can get "peas and carrot" diarrhoea, where whole food passes through because toddlers bowels work so quickly. again theres nothing to worry about with that so just keep him well hydrated and it should pass. Obviously if his growth falls off/he gets a temp etc then you need to see your doc. xxx

Tallgirl thanks for the reassurance hun x I've noticed today he's been a bit better with his food and when he poo'd it was orange and a bit firmer so I'm hoping things are slowly getting back to normal. As you say he's fine in himself, I just feel like I worry about one thing or another all the time, what will I be like with 2 kids!!! I guess its all part and parcel of being a parent. 2 years ago I never thought I'd be having such frank conversations about poo lol!!! Sa from your FF link that you got a +ive opk! good luck, hope you catched the egg. god what is going on with the ttc threads. I've been a member on here since 2004 and have never seen anything like it, its horrible.
