Hi Lynn, LOL!! thanks for noticing fleurs age on the ticker, silly me! I thought abbie's tooth would of pushed through by now, sure it won't be long. As for you worrying about milk, don't, i think they should be on at least a pint a day, so as long as she's having that i'm sure it's fine. Fleur is still breastfeeding and drinking water from a doidy cup in the day by herself, she's got very good at it, i would recommend them to anyone. right have a good weekend girls, i'm up my mum's for a family dinner tomorrow for my birthday ! bubbly x

Hi! Sharon - great to have heard from you - i hope things go ok for Abigail when she has her next op xx Lynn - don't worry - as Bubbly says, at their age they should have about a pint of milk per day but part of that can come from other dairy sources so as Katie has weaned herself off milk during the day she now has milk on her weetabix in the morning and then a yoghurt after lunch and then either a fromage frais or a pud made with milk after her tea. She then has 7oz of milk before bed! She still has plenty of milk products but I like to get them off bottles once their teeth come through as the teats can hinder their speech and also affect their teeth. So i like to get them onto cups by about 6 months - personal preference though!!!! Bubbly - i've not seen the doidy cup - where can you get them from?? Katie has an Avent Magic Cup and a Tommie Tippee cup at the mo. I do find that the avent cup can leak out of the valve though! And the tommie tippee one goes everywhere if she decides to shake it!!!!! Karen xxx

Hi ladies!!!! Sorry its been ages!!!!! Been dying to have a good catch up, but internet was playing up... Anyway, I can't believe we're all approaching the one year mark! Joseph will be exactly 11 months on wednesday!! Where has all that time gone! He has finally cut 2 teeth at the top, and went from caterpillar crawling to very speedy conventional crawling VERY quickly! he climbed both flights of stairs in our house last week (with me behind him!!) He loves them, but its the coming back down that I think might be problematic! It just goes to show they are all so different, but catch up in the end. My DD rolled and started crawling much ealier than Joseph. You've been talking about cups/bottles etc. Joseph has a bottle with about 8 oz of Alpro soya milk in first thing (in bed with me) then cups of water, or very diluted apple juice in the day. We have a tommee tippee stage 1 cup, an avent magic cup, and another tommee tippee cup that I could not work out, so abandoned it. He really enjoys to dring from a normal glass though, but obviously I have to hold it! Got scan next week wed (my birthday , to see where this placenta is to determine whether or not a c section is needed. Was meant to be this wed..if as we are hoping that it has moved itself, we are planning a homebirth. Can't see the point in DH having to to and fro with little Joe, and removes the hassle of packing hospital bags! Love to all... silky xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi everyone Sorry not been on much lately and not much time for personals. Unfortunately my Granda passed away the week after we came back from holiday so been an emotional time lately. Also got some news!!!!!!!!!!!! Daniel is WALKING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arggghhhhhhhhhh So as a result I have even less time now as he wants to be on his feet all the time. He is a bit wobbly but managing to cross the living room at super speed so bye bye any freedom or spare time I had (LOL). Have been stressed out lately as we have been getting decking and patio laid in garden and also our plans have gone into council this week for extension so its been a bit hectic!!! Dont know if I said or not but decided after much termoil not to do Part time law degree in September which I am quite disappointed about but thought it would be too much. We are wanting to start trying for another baby next year and thought I dont get a minute with Daniel at mo let alone having another, working and degree. Ive told my tutor and he was really good saying they will just postpone application given that I was accepted. . Silky - Good look for scan on wedn Chloe - you look lovely on weddin pics glad it all went well. Kate - Hope you managed to get through your sad time, one year has gone so fast. I am sure your Dad will be watching down. Thats how I am thinking about my Granda at the moment. Hope everyone else well. Speak soon PJ Girl x

Hi everyone
It has been really quiet on here lately. We are obviously all too busy. I no longer have any time to catch-up now that I am balancing work and Anna. I am really enjoying it though. Work reminds me of who I used to be and it feels great to challenge my brain sometimes. Then when I am at home I love spending time with Anna and never get bored like I used to when I was with her 7 days a week. I am very tired though.
Tallgirl - Have you started your new GP post? How is it going?
Silky - Good luck with the scan. A homebirth sounds such a nice idea to me. Everyone I know who had one got the labours they wanted. I hope you can have yours.
PJ Girl - So sorry to hear about your Grandad. I hope you are coping OK. It is also sad that you have had to delay your degree but it is better not to overload yourself. How exciting that Daniel is walking.
Anna is doing really well. She has progressed from normal crawling to crawling with straight legs and her bum right up in the air! It is not nearly as efficient but she likes it... She is happy at nursery now and it has stopped her clingyness. She feeds herself all her meals and just eats what we are eating but cut up small. I am definitely going to do Baby Led Weaning again next time (if we are lucky enough to have another) as it has resulted in her loving her food and eating everything and me never having to puree or buy jars.
I hope everyone is well. Love to mummies and babies.

Hi again lovely yummy mummies! Chloe, sounds like Anna is an absolute dream! I remember you were worried when she first went to nursery, Glad to hear she is settled now and not clingy. All these things are massive changes for them aren't they.. PJ Girl, Really sorry to hear about your grandad. Hope you are bearing up okay..Wow to Daniel walking! I have been out today with a few mums I met at an NCT group, and one of their babies was walking, well staggering!! So cute! Am really hoping Joe is walking at least a bit by the time his brother comes along! I can understand your decision to delay doing your law degree. Especially if you're looking to TTC No 2 Good luck with that!! I find full time motherhood very demanding and try to have one day a week 'baby free' just so I can get on with some work, which I do at home. Been finding this pregnancy increasingly hard, lugging an 11 mth old around, etc. My bump is very low this time and feel quite periody, but still, only just under 7 weeks now! HI to everyone else, and hope you are all well.. love silky xxxxxxxxxxx
