Hi ladies, yes its mad to think our little ones are 6 months or nearly there! Karen, you're right Ben has grasped drinking from his cup, he seems to like the tommee tippee first cup which is great as they are only about £1.50 each. Lynnn, ahhh love the new pic of Abbie, she's a cutie! Hope everyone's well, I've not been around much as we've been finalising the sale of my dad's house, so I've been quite sad and just lying low. It should have been his 60th in a few weeks, just got over xmas and now another hurdle. It doesn't get any easier with time.

Hi PJgirl and Lynn - having had 4 "normal" deliveries and then the c/section with Katie, i have to say that there is no way you should feel cheated or that you didn't achieve it because i can honestly say that the c/section was much harder than the other deliveries and it probably wasn't down to your body in the end anyway - i know Katie got stuck - mine should have been the easiest birth going! i was 7cm half an hour after my first contraction but she had her head tilted the wrong way so she'd never have got out however hard i worked!!! If i were both of you i'd discuss with your consultants when you are next pg but i'd certainly try for a normal delivery but if they recommend a c/section don't beat yourself up about it - the delivery isn't the end of the world. you have done a fantastic job carrying him/her for 9 months and you are going to be fantastic mummies once born - how they get into the world is incidental!!! Oooh that was a bit longer than i meant - but you know what i mean!!!! Kate - i do have a tommee tippee cup but she shakes it and it goes everywhere!!!! When they are a bit older and they can suck better i find the best cups are the anyway up cups as they really do not spill!!!!

Hi Sharon - Leland is 6 months today isn't he? It has gone so fast don't you think! Katie is also going off her milk. She tends to have just the two bottles of milk a day:- 8am ish - porridge/weetabix - no milk! 12-1 ish - lunch and a pud - water/juice 3ish - 8oz milk 5ish - tea and a pud - water/juice 7-30 8oz milk and then bed! I know precisely how you are feeling - my DH also had a vasectomy back in November! Even though we already have 6 kids i do get a funny feeling when i think about the fact i won't have another! In reality of course it was for the best (too bloomin expensive!!) BUT ....!!!!!! Lynn - how are you getting on with the cup? Kate - how are you doing hun - did everything go smoothly with your Dad's house?? Well Katie and her big bro both still have horrible colds and he has now got a sicky bug too!!!! One of his bigger sisters seems to have it too! So sounds like our house is mirroring Sharon's!!! Thats the trouble with so many kids - they pick things up from all sorts of places!!! Karen xxxxx

Hi all Karen- your not far wrong about the so many kids, everything just works its way through the entire family, unfortunatley since my last message Leland as become worse and ended up down in hospital as is 24 hr bug as turned into gasterenteritis (soz cant spell it) he has stopped the sickness but continues with very bad diorrea hes has lost 13oz of weight in 5 days, they tell me because he alread had a chest infection that he is very dipleted and the bug as attacked is stomache causing the gastro thingy ( i wont try spell it again) hafter giving him fluids he is now home again and i am told it could tak ea few weeks for thr Diorrea to stop as his stomach needs to work its sell right. One of the worsat things is the burping each time he curps he stinks the room out of rotten eggs it awful turns your stomache so as to be expected his feeding at the mo as it alow so we are just concentrating on giving him fluids. The weirdest thing is he is still very smiley despite been ill bless him but its costing me a small fortune in nappies had to by a bulk box. Anyhow hope every one else is well sorry to here your house is now like mine karen. I started weight eatchers on tues to try and loose a little baby fat before my hols in may and all this illness is getting me stressed and all i want to do is eat but so far i am baRING see what the weekend holds for me. Take care love sharon & poopy bum! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi ladies, SNAP! I'm doing weight watchers too, I'm doing it online as I too want to loose the weight I gained ttc and while pg and I'm going on holiday to Crete in June. I've been doing it nearly 3 weeks and so far I've lost 6lbs. I lost 4 the first week, nothing last week and am on track to loose 2lb this week as I naughtily weighed myself today, 2 days early. My hubby is doing it too which really helps. /what annoys me is how drinks are included , we're celebrating DH's new job tonight with some champagne and its 2 points a glass - outrageous!!! Sharon, really sorry about Leland, I hope he gets better very soon. I know what its like Ben had it in November, he was projectile vomiting and had very bad diarrhoea and was leaking through all his nappies. I'd have bought newborn one's if they were big enough lol!!! Anyway it took him 2 weeks to get over it and he was still smiles throughout which made it all so much better cos it meant he wasn't suffering too much. Hope everyone is ok, we're having a quiet weekend just hanging around and going for walks.

Hi all sharon hope that leland feels better soon. well done to all of you that are doing weight watchers, i need to but cant even think about joining love my food to much lol. Maizee doesnt have any teeth yet even though she too chews anything and everything she can get her hands on. She no has another stinking cold so ot comes the snot sucker again lol. she loves her walker that she had for christmas from her nanny she wizzes uo the kitchen and passage and she looks rather proud of her self. A break throught she now eats savoury food well for the last 2 days any way. I now give her the seven month jars and they seem more of a hit than the 4 month jars. She also loves fromage frais too. But she too doesnt like juice or water very much and thinks that her cup is another toy. Take care all love louise and maizee xxx

Hi everyone, Not been around for a while. We had Charlie christened at the weekend and he was really poorly. Sick all over his outfit so have no photo's. Had to change him several times. Lewis and dh got it now. I had it last week and about 15 other people who were at christening are all ill too. How bad do I feel especially cos my best friend caught the bug and it started her off in labour (she was due nxt wk). She gave birth to a baby girl this aft in record time. MW was just about to examine her and baby popped out - how lucky is that! I am so happy for her as she has been trying for ages and had a few mc. I feel really tearful though for some strange reason! Hormones! Well I think it is final - no more babies for me. We had a long discussion about it and dh really does not want anymore. I am quite upset about it but we have to both want one. Think I am thinking with my hormones anyway! Just can't get used to the fact that I will never be pregnant again! I would also really love a girl but I know that is not a good enough reason to try for another. So Sharon I know how u must feel. Kate - thinking of you at this difficult time. I am sure your dad is looking down on you with pride. As for weight watchers, I really need to go but can't seem to find the time or the motivation. Must do something soon. Charlie has slept through the night finally for the last four nights. I hope this is not just a phase! He doesn't take water very well either and is hit and miss with his solids. Must get him weighed soon. Chele
