Hi All
How are we all today-I meant to ay yesterday that Liberty is mostly in 12 months or 12-18months clothes but does still wear a few 6-9months, even though she is only 17lbs 3oz she wears cloth diapers which take up a bit more room-plus she mostly wears shorts/dresses/cropped trousers because of the weather here, if she were in winter clothes/full length trousers it would prob be different because she is a bit of a shortie like me Smiler

Hi everyone

Zoe- thanks for the compliment but supermum I ain't!!! I guess I'm lucky coz my other two are older so they take care of themselves when I'm putting D to bed (most of the time). You have got two other little people to look after at the same time!! Is Mabel at school yet and if not when does she start full time?? I agree with that nanny on the prog you watched - I wouldn't let D sleep in much beyond 7.30/8 (not that that is very likely to happen - she is awake and rocking most days by half six) coz I would then be stressing out that it would send the rest of the day into turmoil. I wouldn't go as far as waking up myself at six to get her up though!! I don't bring her downstairs though once I have taken her up to bed (unless there is a disaster of course) and I have been quite strict about that since she was tiny. I used to get cross with dp coz he would merrily bring her downstairs if she didn't settle and I would march her back up again! Anyway - you've probably got it all sorted by now so I will shut up with my opinions!! (Can't believe you're only 32 - if that sounds old then bring on my zimmer frame in October when the BIG ONE hits!!)

Hi Missc - hope all went ok with Harry - let us know how you got on.

Peardrop - how was the scan and did you beat dh into submission and find out the sex??? Will have to check out the Oct thread later to find out!!

Hi Baby - glad Liberty is doing ok. I must just be buying extra large clothes coz D is 70cm and at last count was 18lbs (which was a few weeks ago now - I'm due to take her next week for an update). Maybe that explains why she cries when I pull things over her head!!!???!!!

Hope everyone else is ok - Summer, Marie, Sarah etc etc I've just seen the time so must put madam to bed or my whole routine will be shot to pieces Wink Wink

Take care all and speak soon
Ali

Ali and zoe - i agree with ali, i have never let lennon sleep in either but six sounds too early. i try for seven but in the early weeks is was often a little earlier. most days now it is seven! i was also strick with not letting him come downstairs after bed time and, like you ali, had many an argument with dh about taking lennon down and letting him fall asleep infront of the telly on dh's chest. i would wake up an hour or two later and find them both fast asleep.

baby, what is liberty's height then if she is a shortie?

peardrop, hope everything was good for you with the scan!

Missc hope everything went ok for harry at the hospital.

will some of you with boys log on and give a height update please! Peardrop, missc, sarah, autumn. (Anyone i have missed???) you can too if you with summer, although i don't think it would really tell me anything (LOL).

Hi girls

Thought I'd pop on in between BB !! ( What a loser!!! )
I'm loving BB already!!!

Ali hun.....sorry if I was insensitive about age but I talk to you like you are my age.....you don't seem older ( if that makes sense? ) ............I do feel old though.......especially when all the girls on Bb are 18 and 19........it's so young!!!
What age do you feel like Ali?
I sometimes feel like I'm only 25 or something........funny how when I was much younger 30s seemed so old and grown up and now I'm here I don't feel that much different except whren I'm walking past teenagers or something.....and then I feel old!!

Well Ali and Mosh you have the bedtime routine well and truly sussed so hats off to you girls!

I've managed to get Violet into bed at a good time for last few night BUT she wakes up after an hor or so and cries and last night I had to rock her for half hour and tonight for 5 minutes......not really sure what is waking her?

Anyway all is quiet now!!!

I want to start going for more walks in the evening as don't get a chance during the day or at least it's hard work with 3 little ones so DP and I decided we would start going when he's back from work so that will put the routine back by an hour or so........oh well........I need the fresh air and exercise!

Missc hun....how did it go today ? Hope you are all ok.

Peardrop..........how was the scan hun? All good I hope....bet you have a lovely fab scan picture.......hopefully you'll post it on MSN soon

Hello to everyone else

xxxxxxxxxx

Evening all

Harrys heart appointment went well,he had an ecg and 2 scans, the last lasting for about an hour as they need pics for the surgical meeting. He's doing well so far though.

He has Complete Atrio Ventricular Septal Defect (sometimes they have a certain degree of a hole which will close itself but Harry has a complete hole soit wont)He also has tetralogy of fallot - which is another hole and 3 other things wrong (its all very confusing!) He will need Major open heart surgery at around 16-18months, the bigger he is the quicker he should come out of ICU.

Its still all really scarey but he's coping really well,he's such a little star! He weighs 17lbs now!!

Im sorry I never do personals anymore but by the time I sign in there are always loads of pages to remember lol and my memory is rubbish atm! I really appreciate all your support though.

Big hugs and kisses to the babies and Ill check in again soon.

Oh Missc

So sorry you have all the stress and anxiety of Harry's future heart surgery.

Great news that he's doing well so far.

We'll all be praying for him when he does have his surgery.

You've been so strong so far so stay positive hun and remember we are all here for you

Violet sends Harry a big kiss

Missc - sorry to hear about harry and the heart surgery. will it fix all five of the problems or just the holes? do you know if he would need any more surgery after that one? thoughts are with you hun.

peardrop - glad the scan went well, and i am sure you will enjoy the surprise on the big day. 26lb sounds huge compared to lennon, who seems to be more like the girls weights. do you know which percentile he is following in the red book?

zoe, i know what you mean about BB! i am hooked already too! so did you mean that you and dp will be going out for a walk with the children? as this is supposed to help them sleep better anyway (the fresh air). what time will it be? as suposidly between 2 and 4 in the afternoon is the best time! also as far as her waking after an hour, sleep cycles are supposed to be about 45mins to an hour so it sounds like she is waking up after a sleep cycle when she comes into light sleep. do you rock her to sleep the first time as well? it could be she rouses a little then thinks - where has mummy gone? so she cries for you. just a thought! hope you understand the big waffle!

summer, do you know the date that you will be in 'Thats Life' yet? we are all itching.

ali, do you have the dss this weekend? are you going to try the camping thing?

hi to everybody else.

marie

Zoe - hun - you say the sweetest things - I now count myself as an honorary 32 year old!!! Seriously though, I don't feel any different now to how I did when I was 19. It's only when I try to get the old bod to do something and it complains that I remember I am nearly 40 (or if I go out on the town with the girls and it takes nearly a week to recover!!)

As for night-time routines and having it sussed - the bottom line is that I am a control freak so the poor kid didn't really stand a chance right from the outset!!

Peardrop - glad the scan went well - can't believe you're over half way there!! It will be October before we know it.

Missc - sorry the news about Harry was so great (as in enormous), but at least now you know what you're facing. Lots of hugs hun xxx

Hi Marie - no we haven't got dss this weekend - dp decided we should have a weekend off (thank goodness). The "downside" (god that sounds awful) is that he is coming for two nights next weekend so we will defo be camping then!!!

I'm afraid I don't do BB - that probably makes me really boring - but I get really cross with these people that go on these shows and then get all uppity when their dirty laundry is aired in the press - what do they expect??? You can just fill me in on the headlines (so that I can hold my own in the playground!!)

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Darcey is being a really stroppy madam at the moment. Hopefully it's teeth or else she is just getting frustrated coz she can't get around properly yet. Either way, I hope she calms down soon coz it's beginning to bug me!

Anyway - going to watch both Joseph and Grease is the word tonight (have reason to believe that dp has bought tickets for both for my birthday!) and have a well deserved glass of wine. Cheers girls.

Cheers Ali.....I'm joining you with a glass of red!!!

As for stroppy babies well Violet has learnt how to do the loudest and most blood curdling scream just to get attention!!!
She sounds like she's distressed but then she just stops and laughs................very crafty these babies!!!!

Your DP is a star............what a thoughtful guy buying you tickets to Joseph and Grease.
We're skint this month so I'll be lucky to get a card on the day BUT I will bleed him dry on payday!!!! Big Grinha ha ha not really but I will demand something............maybe a pretty summer dress or something!!!

He is generous my DP but not really thoughtful....if that makes sense?
If he was then he'd have secured me tickets to George Micheal in concert!!!!
Anyway I'm going for a meal next saturday with my Mum, her boyfriend and DP so really looking forward to having an excuse to dress up and get merry!

Mosh hun.....glad you are in to BB.........we can be saddo's together!!!

As for Violet well usually when I hear her cry I creep up to her cot and just see if she'll settle herself but most of the time its a real agitated cry and she gets herself into crawling position or even standing up so that's when I come in and pick her up to rock her.

As for the walks......well it can only be after DP gets home between 6.30 and 7 and so after a walk it'll be 8ish.
Thers not many ideal places to walk here apart from the local woods and I don't want to walk alone there during the day so the only chance for a good walk really is when DP gets home.

Anyway we'll see how it goes.

Anyway off to watch George Micheal interview soon................DP is having fun at the local pub ( I would say ' asshole' in brackets but that would lead you all to believe that I'm bitter about it in someway Big Grin) tee hee

Have a good weekend girls.....be back tomorrow

xxxxxxxxx

Wait for me girls-my wine is still chilling!!! Then again it is only 5.15pm here!!!!

I have watched a few BB's Zoe (we download the friday ones) but I've got to say I get really annoyed with it at times and much prefer the US version which starts next month.

I am 32 too Zoe but don't feel that old (other than the fact I would rather curl up on the sofa and I'm twice the size I used to be!!!

Well off to watch tv-downloaded Dr Who for any fans!!!
