Great article Summer. My Mum saw it in The Mail and mentioned it as it sounded so similar to the story I had told her about you. You're getting quite famous! Lol

Hi girls

How are you all?

Summer I looked on the link and it was a fab article..........( saw your lovely comments too Ali ) I also managed to get a paper from my Nans house ( got Mum to pick it up )and so I will have a good read tomorrow when I go to see Mum for the day. Smiler

How many copies did you buy ?!!!!

Ali..how are you hun? Any nearer to knowing when the garage will be converted?

Missc.......where are you hun? Harry keeping busy I expect! I saw your latest photos of him and he looks gorgeous!

Peardrop........you ok hun? I still want to know what is waiting to be approved!! Come on ....stop keeping me in suspence !!!!

Baby.......has Liberty got her new baby walker yet ? If so, how is she liking it?

Where's Autumn lately ? Hope you are well hun..also Mosh and Kerry and Jo.......who else has gone AWOL?!!

I was really lost at the start of the week as my PC finally died on me.........didn't help that I couldn't be arsed to log off properly one night and just unplugged it!!!! tee hee
So now Martin has sorted out another old one for me from an old one lying around!!!
Really need a new one but can't afford it at the moment!

Violet has a cold at the moment and it took us hours to get her off to sleep last night.didn't help that Mabel woke up and climbed into bed with us and was laughing and giggling and OVER STIMULATING violet at midnight!!!
Martin was off work today so that was a help as I was totally knackered today BUT still manged to clear the garden abit.

Oh and on top of that our washing machine has broke too so I had to stand at the sink and hand wash !!!!! Eeker Eeker Eeker Don't know how all of our Nans did it years ago.......we have it so easy these days.

Looking forward to normality next week when the kids go back to play school......think they really miss it too.

Right I've rambled again.

Blimy girls!!!

I have been away for a week and there is more like a months worth of information to catch up on. i still have two pages to get through but if i do not start writing i will never find the time!

Baby - you must be so impressed with you lad! that is absolutly fantastic.

Zoe - as far as confessing to reading both take a break and thats life at some point i read take a break for the last few weeks of my preg while i was off work. the trouble is i still get it religiously every week!! the worst part is me and dp played a men v women game with frinds and one of the questions was 'does your partner read more mags than books'? and i was ashamed when it was true as i used to read tons of books. unfortunatly there is not enough time to get into a book with a baby.

Ali - hope you are feeling much better after your fall and that the bruises are healing. that sort of fall could have been really serious and like you say, such a good job you did not have Darcey in your arms. i am so clumsey and always worry of something like that.

Summer - thank you so much for the number, not looked at that page yet but will go over after. my dad works at a respite care centre for terminally ill children and the pediatrition (sp?) there said go to doc and ask for a referal to a pediatric sergion (lots of words i could not spell in there but you get the idea). why are they leaving toms op till next year? is it to do with the anastetic or just till he is older?

peardrop - sickness is not a prob at any stage as long as you keep fluids up! it is terrible that you have to contact them for the scan. it does not exactly fill you with confidece for rest does it!

well we have been to luxemburg for the last week and visited france, germany, and belgium while we were there. Lennon was absolutly fantastic!!! in total we covered 1600+ miles and the only time he even complained was when we did not make it back for bed time last night.

anyway, lennon is now on my knee ant trying to add typing (he must want to write to you all) so i am gonna post this. still have not read the last two pages yet so hope i have not asked quesions that have already been answered, or put someting that has already been said! if so just ignoor me!

try and finnish reading while he can tap to his hearts content and then try to write more tomorrow!

Zoe, i was trying to post a pic of my expanding bump but i posted two of the same picture, tried to delete one and then they both dissapeared Confused

i'll pop one on msn later.

What would we do without washing machines eh? I honestly don't think i could ever get a thing doen without all my mod cons.
how was your week with the kids at home?

Mosh, thanks for the info. I thought it was ok but just wanted to check just in case. I got my scan date through for 8th of may, i so want to find out what the sex is but dh doesn't so don't know what to do.
Glad little Lennon is being a good boy. He obviously travels really well which is half the battle when going abroad with them.

Hey Peardrop
Will this scan be the only one you get? I found out Liberty was a girl but then spent the next 20 weeks agonizing that they might have got it wrong as I so desperately wanted a girl-I needed to know if she was a boy so that i could prepare myself-if you don't mind what you are having I would wait but if you have a preference it might help to know in advance-that said they could still get it wrong.... I'm sure this rambling hasn't helped you decide at all!!!!!!!

Hello to everyone else-good to hear you had a good trip-travelling with one baby is great fun...when you get to 5 its much more difficult!

Ali-you still out there hon? Is DSS over for the weekend? The weather in October should be still quite nice and warm so you should have a good time...look forward to meeting up hopefully Smiler

Got to go now as I'm cooking tea!!

Baby x

Hi everyone

Yes, Baby, I'm still here - just hampered by the half term holidays and having the kids at home!!! Thank goodness they go back to school on Monday - I need to lie down in a darkened room with a bag of peas on my head!!

Seriously though, just been really busy - went to Gullivers Land in Milton Keynes (a theme park if you haven't heard of it) on Thursday, and it was empty and it hardly rained at all. I think everyone had been put off by the weather. We went with a group of friends from school and it was fab - D was an absolute superstar (loved the carousel and the train) and coz there were so many adults, I actually got to go on some rides with dd and ds!!

The garage conversion plans are coming along - we have seen two companies now (waiting for a price from the second) so hopefully dp will soon be making a decision. In the meantime, we have got to a situation where the other kids are taking it in turns to share (with some complaining more than others!!) which is ok but means that I am making and remaking two or three beds every weekend - oh well!!

Hope everyone else is ok - sorry for lack of personals but just dashing this off before going to start feeding the five thousand!! (Baby - I don't know how you do it!!)

Talk soon (enjoy the sunshine)

Ali

Hey all
Ali-I think I'll join you in the dark room with the bag of peas-can we have a large glass of wine in there too!

I am now officially the worst mother in the world-I was bathing Liberty last night who now hates to sit still, I turned my head to pick up the towel and she started screaming-she didn't seem to have slipped (like she did the night before and bumped her face!) but I got her out and gave her a cuddle and somehow she managed to get a black eye Eeker we think she might have hit herself with her rubber duckie-she doesn't seem bothered at all now but I feel totally guilty-not helped by DH keep teasing me about it! How do you guys keep little ones still at bath time-are they in the baby tub or big tub? I need to do something.

As for enjoying the sunshine it is now officially hurricane season and we are getting tropical storm 'Barry' so it has rained since 2pm yesterday and lots of power cuts over night.

We are starting baby signing next week at the library for free!!! has anyone done this? I'll let you all know how we get on.

Got to dash-need my coffee fix Smiler

Baby, we had the same trouble with Alfie slipping and sliding all over the bath, in the end we got this

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3754607.htm

It's a cool little bath seat and really cheap too. Never have a problem now. Maybe you could get something similar in the US.
By the way when Alfie was about 2 months old he managed to roll off his changing mat on the table on to the floor, about 3 feet. I was mortified, and i only turned my back to get a nappy.
