My six month old son used to be a good eater but lately he refuses to eat anything except fromage frais and baby cereal. He yells and fights with me over food and I have to give up because I don't want to force food on him. This is so frustrating because he used to eat whatever I gave him - now I worry that he is not getting an adequate diet. I've banned the fromage frais because I think he likes it just a bit too much, and that it is therefore contributing to the problem. Have other people had this difficulty? Is it just a stage? He is still breast feeding. Please help, meal times have become such misery.

ha ha you've got a stroppy one with firm opinions and tastes. You are doing the right thing and will find if he's hungry he will eat. Give him his solids before breast feeding. I'm a nanny have been for 13yrs now and this IS common don't worry just keep going as you are he will learn that mummy means business the little tyke. We'd all rather eat choc than veggies lol
