hi everyone. so happy for rhi.

so happy for me too im all excited but terrified of walking down the aisle. im getting all giddy now lol. was so pleased last night D was at workbut kept sending me nice texts ( hes not generally a soppy bloke lol) saying he cant believe im going to be mrs soon and he not nervous cos we will only get one chance to do it but although it will be a special day everyday is special with me! you can imagine the smile that put on my face! ( think he was after some tea making lol joking!).

i just hope it all goes perfect and i cant wait to hear speeches and give out our pressies. i love giving people nice presents!

well as you can tell im a little on the excited side but got busy few days after today. Hair coloured today. tommorrow - pick up suits, finish wrapping pressies, pack for honey moon, collect dresses, meet photographer and have rehearsal at church - o and clean the whole house lol. fri - eyebrows done, collect cake, take cake, favours, pressis, table plan, menus etc to hotel, pack for sat night, have nails done. ( staying at my mums) . THEN RELAX FOR TEN MINUTES BEFORE BED LOL. in betwen all that ive got to find some time to do my toenails, wax legs etc etc lol. busy busy busy.

i can really understand why people do the wedding thing before baby lol would be a million times easier.

jess is coming in the wedding car with us up to the hotel too cos we dint want to leave her out, and d has got some lovely stuff about both me and jess in his speech.
hope i dont cry lol, im awful at moment sat crying at corrie other night lol.

right enough of boring you all with me me me talk.

hope everyone is well. hows the plans and th epreg going ever?

xx

Hi all

Just to let you know I have had an update from Rhi... Lucy is jaundiced and is having to have tests run as it is so soon after she was born (normal after a few days apparently)
Some of the tests will take 48 hours to come back so she will be in hospital until Friday at least ...

poor Rhi and Lucy ((((hugs)))) to them both!!

Hi all

Well done to Rhi and Tracey on the births of their babies.

Tia Not long now. Just try to remember and enjoy the day.

Kia Its blooming cold down here at the moment. Just put my heating on before starting this post. I think Autumn/Winter is on its way.

Kels - and so we begin another 2ww. I just want to ask since I had my coil taken out 3 months ago, my cycles have been different days. 28 the first time, 35 the second and last time 32 days so when do you calculate your ovulation from. Is it 14 days from the first day of your cycle no matter how long your cycle is or should you add days if your cycle was longer than that. I think ovulation has finished for me this month so its just wait and see now.

Bria is so sweet at the moment. she sings twinkle twinkle, not quite the words but the tune is nearly spot on and when I say one she says two and then we count together although again she makes up the words from there. She loves the movie shrek 2 and when the songs start in it, shes up and dancing.

Will probably have to look into some homeworking or something as since Jade has gone to her dads, I immediately stopped her child benefit and working family tax plus the maintainence i got from her dad and we have worked out we are £380 down a month. Was a bit of a shock. Had just got used to having it but because of the sudden rapid leaving of home from Jade and because everything went in monthly, its the first month to realise just how much we are down and there we were thinking it would be good to try for another baby but we'll see what happens. We've been in sticky situations before. (hubby was made redundant when Bria was 2 weeks old but he was taken back on 5 weeks later) It always seems to work out fine in the end

Less of my moaning.

Again congrats new mummys

Love Trad and Bria

Just a quick update on Rhi

Been to see her and they are both doing well - afterpains have gone down a lot
Lucy is doing fab - was under 4 UV lamps until today, this morning they took one off. While I was there they did some blood tests and are now going to take the drip out (was just helping hydrate her) and take another light off - with a view to putting her up with Rhi overnight, fingers crossed!

Lucy is absolutely gorgeous Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Hiya ladies just coming on to say hi really.

Peanut, are you broody seeing a newborn again?? I love babies but then I remember the sleepless nights, then teething and I think no way not yet anyway!!!
So glad Rhi's afterpains have stopped a bit. Are they something you get with subsequent babies cos I don't think I got them with Ellie.

Vicky

I didn;t get afterpains with my first child but did with the others and they were stronger with each birth. They are like mini contractions and you feel them after the birth when your womb is contracting back down. You get them at first with breastfeeding as well but its all good cos you know its helping your insides get back to normal.

Hey lorraine Rhi sent me a pic but I haven't got it off my phone yet - wasn't able to get a pic when I visited as not allowed stuff in neonatal

vicky - you know me too well! Mega broody after seeing her... she was mega tiny compared to Emily when she was born too so was even sweeter!

What Tra said is right - you often don't feel the afterpains with a first baby, its your womb contracting back to normal size... I felt them a little bit when I was feeding Emily but only then.

Morning ladies, oh don't think il look forwardto those afterpains then lol! As if you haven't been through enough but to have more mim contractions afterwards, mind you like you say Trad you know everythings going back to normal.

Peanut, look at your ticker 8 months today argh its going to come so quick for you! I saw a baby about 1 month ago and she weighed more than Ellie when she was born and I thought I am sure Ellie was so small, its amazing how much you forget isn't it. Wasn't Emily about 8lb so yes a bit of difference there between the 2!

Well only thing to report is the weather is cr@p here, hope it brightens up for Tia tomorrow. Also, I was sky +'ing 10 years younger last night and its failed so I can't watch it so am very mad this morning!
Off to a vigrin vie party tonight so will probably end up spending a small fortune I always do, can't resist! Im hoping to get some xmas pressies bought though!

Hi all anyway, hope you are all well.

my pains weren't too bad vicky, just like AF cramping... but they say it gets more painful each time as your body is more efficient or something!
Emily was 8lb 15.5 oz so basically 9lb so almost twice the weight of lucy!

poor you with your sky+ not working! Booo hiss!

ooh - virgin vie party - buy me something nice!

I know 8 months! Its mad isn't it! Considering this time last year we were just thinking about where / when to do it!!

Oh god I've missed loads! HUGE CONGRATS TO RHI AND TRACEY - one of each how cool!

Tia - have a fantastic day tomorrow!!! I'm so excited for you!

Kia - hope you';ve rung the council about childminding mrs!

Trad - it always works out in the end hun x

vicky - I've started xmas shopping too - best way is to be organised!!

Who've I missed?...oh musswells - hello lovely - your life sounds as busy as mine at the moment!

Sorry my personals are so crap but I feel really down and I'm totally struggling with my hormones...still haven't finished the bloody invites either. My hormones are playing me up big style and all I seem to want to do is cry. I cannot find a single wedding dress I like and one of the bridesmaids is refusing to wear anything I pick out. God I am stressed to the max. Not good for my beanie... Frowner

God what a divvy. I just been looking on my ovulation calendar I downloaded and I put the wrong date in for the first day of my last period so we've been doing in on the wrong days so thats that for this month I think. We didn't think it would happen anyway after the miscarriage last month anyway even though it was a very early miscarriage. (I've heard its called a chemical pregnancy). so at least I can stop symptom spotting and being tense for a little while. Hope you are all well.
