Had a lovely day thank you Loocy Smiler Hows the not breast feeding going now? I'm just doing morning and evenings/nights now and its so nice to be able to wear my old bras again. Jake just has water in the day.. no time to fit in any formula as hes either napping or full of food. I grate a fair amount of cheese into the boys lunch and dinner to keep their dairy intake up and they have petits filous after both meals. Have been worrying about Tom's milk intake as hes really cut down. Its a massive effort to get as much milk and food into him as possible. Was even considering stopping his food and putting him back on just his formula which is a prescription only high calorie one. But i'd feel so mean as he loves his food. He only put on 2.5 oz last week.... Will see what he does next week. Hes now 12lbs and Jake is surging up the centiles and is now 17lbs 2oz. Hes about to break into the 25th centile from the 9th ... a few weeks ago he was pottering along in the 2nd centile and even touched down into the 0.4th centile after a tummy bug. Follow that? ha ha.
Sorry so stilted. In a rush as usual.

Sam.. hows the weaning going? Hope Alfie is being as good as he was on Sat.

Vicki.... where are you???!!!
And Anita... hope you're both ok.
Lots of love to everyone and babiesxxxxxxx

Ooh... had an awful experience this morning. Jake crawled off the bed Eeker I was dozing with Jake next to me and dh had taken Tom and Daisy downstairs and put a pillow the other side of Jake to stop him rolling off. Next thing I knew there was a thud and screams Frowner Frowner Frowner Felt terrible and was shaking for a good 5 minutes. He seems fine though thank god. Time to buy another cot!!!!

Hello everyone!!
Wow, long time since I've been on here, I do apologise. Time has just flown these last few months. I have had James at home end of May and I don't seem to have time to do anything these days.

All is well with us. James is still of work, but should be ready to start work when we move to Norway. We're actually moving 2nd October so it's getting close. We are very nervous, and have been tempted to not go many times because moving abroad is not easy!!! But we are surely but slowly getting there. We are renting our house out instead of selling it!! So we got somewhere to go back to just incase we don't like it. We're staying at my mum's for a few weeks then we're renting a house which I managed to sort out yesterday. I'll post some pictures when I get them. I don't know what it looks like, but my brother is going to see it tonight and send me some photos. It's a three bedroom house, terasse, garden and garage for less than £500 a month!!! Bargain or what... (well wait until I see the pictures anyway). James has already got a job which is great news!! Now we just need to sort me and Freya out.

Freya is doing great too. She is now crawling like a trooper - it's so funny to watch. She is also pulling herself up!! Can't believe how big she is now!! She's very very cheeky but a really good girl. She's started to wake sometimes at night at the moment, but I think her teeth are bothering her. Also, she's been suffering a bit with constipation. But we are trying all sorts of natural remedies to get her poos going Big Grin.

I hope all your babies are doing well too. I haven't been able to catch up with all your posts.

Loocy, how's not breastfeeding going? I'm still going strong, but only three times a day. Actually twice today. I'm doing a temp job today - my first whole day without Freya. Got a bit teary on the way to work, but am ok now. Silly really as she's only at home with James. Can't wait to go home and see her, but the positve thing is I get to catch up with you guys and on my emails.

By the way I've tried to add Loocy and Summer on my facebook thingy (if I've got the right ones....)

I will try and catch up with you all a bit more now. I miss our little chats. I really hope that you are all ok!!! Can you believe how big our babies are?? I have to post some pictures of Freya on msn. Actually I've made her a blog, I'll post it on the msn site.

Sorry for lack of personals and all about me post. I promise to do better very soon.

Love to all

Anita

OMG this is my first hour of "me time" in about three weeks Eeker and it's been soooo quiet on here! I guess we're all in the same boat, there just isn't any time.

Summer - glad to hear the boys are doing so well. Sounds like they're eating great too.

Laura - liver, euch. I haven't tried that yet and I know it's good for them.

Alfie is a poor wee soul at the moment Frowner He's had two colds and is teething really badly. His bum was awful last weekend, bright red and tight looking. HV said to have tons of nappy time and smother it in egg white. Seems to have done the trick! But he's bad again today and hasn't eaten breakfast or lunch. Don't really know what to do. Don't want to overreact and rush him off to a doctor, but it's worrying. He's still taking his milk so that's good.
He's on 26oz a day Eeker I'm assuming that's a lot as the books say about 20. So I'm cutting him back myself.

Anita - lovely to hear from you. Good luck with the big move. October will be here before you know it!

Hi to all the others, hope you and babes are well.

Vicki - you are v quiet, unusual for you. Are we nearly there yet? Wink

Speaking of which, AF has finally visted (yesterday) that's a whopping 7.5 months! Geez did I NOT miss her!

Also dh has been offered another job Smiler The salary isn't as good but there's a car, so we're deep in conversation about what to do. But even if he doesn't take it, it's good to know there are jobs out there and people who think he's employable. So it's an ego boost if nothing else. Smiler

Time to go. Speak again xxx

Hey everyone

Anita - great to hear from you. So exciting about your move and very sensible to rent your hosue out. Hope the one you are renting over thre turns out to be the bargain you think!

Summer - Kaitlyn doesn't seem to take much milk in the day either. i am feeding her myself morning and night but have stopped BF in the day now. She hardly took any formula today but am doing the same as you with the petit filous and cheese. I also try to add some milk when her food is a bit thick. Know youhave to keep an eye on it a bit more with the boys but I'm sure they will be ok. How is Daisy now?

Mari - great news about the job offer. Like you say a good ego boost. I'm sure the right job will come along soon!!! Frowner re: AF!!!! Mine still not back yet....can't wait... Roll Eyes

Loocy - glad you feel ok about the reduced BF. I would be more relaxed if K would have more formula in the day. I'm enjoying just feeding her AM and PM but can't imagine stopping altogether. Don't worry ..I will stop before she reaches 14!! he he he.. I AM joking!!!!!

Hi everyone else!!

Been my nieces Christening today - was lovely weather and a lovely day! at another one tomorrow!!!!

BTW - I am on facebook too but can't find you Loocy & Anita. Jo - sent you an invite...anyone else??

OMG can't believe we've almost bumped off the page... took me ages to find you!! Have been away in Scottieland again vistiing for the last time before going back to work. three weeks to go and I'm still in denial!!

Life here is just fab and gets busier every day - even DH and I are getting on again at the mo Big Grin Stopping breastfeeding has also reawakened other things (nudge, nudge, wink wink) as I'm getting back to me old self and feel in control of my body again!! Hurrah. And, Laura, honestly like everyone said to me, you really don't miss it as much as you think you will! We've decided that since it took us so long to have munchkin and we only had her on clomid, we're not going to bother with contraception. Risky strategy but I don't see me getting pg again that easily!! Means no more nasty pill either! hurrah.

Eilidh is doing so so well.. she's still caterpillar crawling on her tummy although trying the real thing - but always goes back onto her tummy as it's quicker. She now has SIX teeth - two bottom and four top and the four top ones came in without much fuss, but lots of drool, so long may that continue! And she's pulling herself up and into absolutely everything cheeky wee monkey that she is. Oh we must all get round to posting some more piccies on msn soon. I haven't been on there in ages. There's just so not much time and I have no idea what's going to happen once I'm back at work...

Hope the lack of news means everyone's well and just getting on with things - vicki you are too too quiet at the mo so hope you are ok.

Sam glad you managed some time away and you'll have more time (ha ha) now the kiddiewinks are at school.

love to all and big huggies
Loocy xxxx

hello all
woke up this morning to find alfie actually sitting up in his cot chewing the bars lol how he managed that without any help i dont know now i need to lower his matress im so scared hel end up falling out of his cot
my house is so quiet with the girls at school and its actually tidy till they come home and havok erupts had lots of me time yesterday as nathan was at nursery and had 4 hours of just me and alfie which was good
had alfie weighed on weds hes now 15lb 3ozs hes still struggling to eat anything savoury but ill persist on with it and wont give in i never had any problems with the others like this even his nan has tried she had no luck either so its not just me (did think that i might have been mummycuddling him a bit)
hv says hes doing fine though and thats all that matters

we had such a good time in the caravan that weve decided to venture out a bit further in october half term looks like we might be going to nodes bay on isle of wight just a bit worried about how nathan will be on a boat i know the girls are ok on it as theyve been on the ferry loads of times but nathans never been on one

right i must go and see what nathans up to hes being extremly quiet which isnt normal for him lol
catch up later

Hey ho!

Where was the pub you went to in Winchester Sam? Right in the town centre? By a river? Have got a pub on every corner here so rather a lot to choose from though some are not particularly savoury Razzer
Glad you had a lovely break. Would LOVE a break but just too much hassle at the mo. And we're skint so that doesn't help! Next summer we'll def have to get away... hopefully to St Ives. I love it down there.
I wouldn't worry about Alfie and his eating habbits. As long as hes putting on weight and happy, he'll be fine.
Tom is worrying me a bit at the moment, as for the last week or so hes eaten very little and cut his milk right down. When I weighed him yesterday he'd lost an ounce Frowner . Hes now 12lbs 4oz. Hes never remained static let alone lost anything EVER, so I was pretty upset. Seeing his consultant on Monday which is a relief. Jake on the other hand is still climbing the centiles! He put on 9oz last week Eeker and is now 17lb 12oz. That'll all stop I should think when he goes into his cot in a few days as I'm going to offer him water overnight instead of letting him suckle constantly. Ordered one (a cot) yesterday. Really worried about him falling off our bed again so popping him in his own cot can't happen fast enough. Just don't know how its going to fit in our room yet!!

Hey Loocy... rather exciting... the possibility though Wink Cool Hopefully when Jake goes into his own bed there will be some reawakenings round here too Big Grin
Damn, I am so bloody broody.

Hope everyone else and babies are well xxxxxxxxxx

Hello!
Where is everybody?!
Still having probs with Tom's appetite. He lost another 2oz between last Thurs and yesterday Frowner
Consultant said not to panic just yet. Hes speaking to the dietician and giving me a call tomorrow with some sort of plan.
Meant to say the other day what a clever girl Eilidh is for having 6 teeth through no probs. Jake has 4 now and the top ones were a bloody nightmare! Hes drooling again already so thinking that the ones either side at the top may be on their way too. Fun fun fun. Tom still has just the bottom 2.
xxxxxxxxxx

hello girlies
not good news here at the moment god its one thing after another with me
well i had my follow up appt yesterday for the fissure that i had botox for well the consultantisnt pleased and he thinks that im probably going to be back to square 1 in the next couple of weeks and he strongly advised me that i need a sphincterectomy operation which is the only solution to the problem god why didnt they do that in the first place the botox was really painfull and i would have much rather of been put out for it let me give birth any day coz them injections were worse pain than that
so im really p****d off at the moment i really thought theyd discharge me properly

alfie has another chest infection and has lost a lb in a week now the doctor is worried about his weight even more but he said as long as he is drinking his milk 4-6 hourly he doesnt need to have anything else as hes poorly (i knew the hv was talking rubbish last week)

anyway enough about my busy life
wow to tom and jake summer teeth already alfies arent even trying to make an apperance at the moment
i cant remember the name of the pub we went to all i know is that its at the other end of the road with early learning centre in i only know that coz nathan ran from the pub to there and i had to chase him little bugger

well id better go iron school uniforms and make lunches ready for the morning its really weird at the moment as iv got 3 at different schools lou is in infants riri is in juniors and nathans in nursery tuesday and thursday
well off to do chores then bed for me
hope everyone is ok
sam

HI Everyone!!!

Sorry not been on for ages...been away on hol (Skye) and then back to work this week. Only doing Mon, Wed, Fri but it was awful going back!!! Kaitlyn screamed and reached out for me as I was leaving her in nursery on Monday.I felt so cruel and it was really upsetting... She was upset most of the day but it did get better as the day went on apparently. She at least ate her dinner and had naps. She totally wasn't speaking to me when I picked her up though!!! She was turning her head to avoid eye contact! I'm still feeding her (BF) monring and night though so after her feed she was my mate again!! it was awful! She was ok with my Mum yesterday though but is back at nursery tomorrow. I'm so glad I'm not doing more days at work!

Anyway...congrats to everyone on all these teeth!!! K still has.......NONE! bless her.

Sam - sorry to hear about your bum probs. what a nightmare. Hope it improves for you...any idea when you might have to have this op?

Summer - sorry to hear about Tom's weight. what did the dietician say? Are you still BF him?

Sorry - haven't had chance to read all the posts properly yet. Hope everyone is ok???

Better go as I need to get ready and do a bit of housework..... Frowner
