Hello! Its late but I'm here

Mari... I haven't had a period since before the boys were conceived either. I know you're not BF but even when I stopped with Daisy it took a good few months for my 1st AF to make an appearance.
Hey Tina.. glad Luca's tongue tie was sorted ok. It made a great deal of difference to Jake when his was done, but Tom's made an even bigger difference. His feeding (bottle and breast) improved drastically in a couple of days which is how we finally managed to stop his tube feeds in hospital. Up til then he just couldn't feed properly for himself.
Congrats on the place at uni!
Way to go Vicki! Hope the next babe is as good as Kaitlyn

All v exciting. Our new next door neighbours have a 13 month old and are expecting twins in June! Shes 26 weeks I think and saw her properly for the 1st time today. Was a little jealous of her bump I have to say, though when I thought about it properly I remembered how thoroughly knackered I was and how i couldn't wait for the preg to be over. Would quite like another little girl though so in a couple of years I think we may well try again. Would be nice to go through a relatively normal pregnancy again seeing as the last one was such a mare. Knowing my luck it'd be triplets though :

Can't remember the last time I posted properly.
All fine and dandy here. Have got an appt finally for Tom's hernia (his inguinal one (in his groin)) on Friday. Thats just a clinic appt though... hopefully they'll schedule the op fairly quickly as the poor boy really suffers. His umbilical hernia has suddenly gone down a lot so I think thats healing on its own. Got a slight worry about something odd at the base of Tom's spine though... haven't rung his consultant as I thought I'd just show the Dr on Friday. Noticed weeks and weeks ago that he had 2 funny little marks just above his bottom either side of his spine, but didn't think anything of it. Then about 2 weeks ago I was cleaning up a particularly messy botty and rolled him on to his side to make sure i'd done a good job, and just down into his botty crease is a little hole. Theres no other way of describing it. A little hole thats deepish and in line with his spine.
So now I've decided hes got mild spina bifida. Haven't had any time at all to google the subject. Hoping its nothing to worry about!
Anyway... Tom Thumb was 6lbs 6oz a week ago. I take them to be weighed every Thurs, so hopefully hes put on a nice little lot this last week. Jake was 10lbs 10oz and seems like a giant tellytubby in comparison

Still BF Jake and Tom is breast fed then gets his special formula top up in the day, and just his formula at night (so dh can do it).
Am extremely jealous of you all talking about sleeping through!!! I could probably get Jake to with a little effort as he'll sometimes go 5 or 6 hrs at the start of the night, but we'll have to be feeding Tom right through for months to come to try and keep his weight gain up.
Don't have any real routine going here as Jake feeds every 3 hrs, and Tom every 4 but its not rigid and so each day starts off at different times and is easier or harder depending on whether dh is around to help with Tom's 1st feed of the day and to get Daisy dressed.
Had a night totally on my own last week... dh was away on the Tues and Weds. Was as I expected really... got a total of about 2.5 hrs sleep

Jake ends up in our bed at some point most nights but Tom is a good boy and settles much more easily in the cot (they share at the mo).
Am losing direction here. Must go back and try and read more posts.
Have put more pics on finally!
Going to at least try and read everyday and catch up with you all, so when I do post I know whats going on!
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
