YYYYEEEE-HHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA computer's back up and running and I'm in the land of the internet connection. have been surfing all morning!!!! Oh it feels so good to be back and to catch up!! Wow wow wow.

LOL Mari at your pg test - I panicked t'other day as my periods haven't returned but my friend reassured me that they really do stay away if you're b/feeding until you start weaning. hurrah!!! I mean Eilidh is adorable but I just so enjoy spending time with her that I can't imagine having to split my time between two of them.... and I don't think my poor wee body is ready for another pregnancy yet!!

Poor wee lamb had her second lot of injections today. She was fine and they make her really sleepy so hopefully today I can get on with important things, like email and surfing!! Sod the housework!!! Talking of which, I have some girls from my NCT class coming round for lunch on Saturday - 10 grown ups and 5 babies. What was I thinking??!?? Eeker

Summer lovely to hear from you and glad the boys are keeping you busy Wink Just pop in when you can and let us know that you're all well!!

Hope everyone had a good easter and didn't pig out too much!! I was very restrained!! How's everyone doing on the weight front?! Now is the time to 'fess up that I put on 3 stone when I was pg so I've got 12lbs to go now and am happy as larry that I've got under a stone to go!!! hurrah! I'm sure most of you are back to your pre-pg weight already?? Razzer

I could babble all day about what we've been up to... honestly I've never been busier!!! Tomorrow I have to go into work for an afternoon - I know, but they desperately need a bit of work done and there's no one to do it, so I thought i'd keep in their good books so that when I negotiate my hours going back.... talking of which, I've managed to convince DH that I don't need to work til September and my boss has agreed to me going back 3 days a week til Christmas and then we review it... so that's a start, eh?!

Lots of love and hugs to everyone - will stop babbling now as I've just heard munchkin fill her nappy Big Grin

Hi Loocy - great to hear from you! You sound hyper, have you been on the Calpol? Big Grin Glad to hear little Eyelid is well and sleeping through the night. Well done you for negotiating great hours. I get waves of fear come over me now and again when I think of having to leave Alfie Frowner but millions of women do it every day so I will too. Still a while till end of July.

Jo - Keeping my fingers crossed for you and a mortgage - what a bummer! Have you got a back up plan apart from a park bench? Wink

Vicki - you sound soooo happy now, glad everything is falling into place after your stressful few weeks.

Hi all.

Laura, a big hurrah for Katie's harness finally coming off!! You must be sooo pleased!! Big Grin

Vicki, are you mad??? Another baby so soon? I really don't think I could cope with another one right now. Hm, I haven't got my period back either and we're not using any contraseption. I think that's what they call playing with fate!!

Good to have you back Loocy. You are certainly a busy lady. I wish I was a bit more busy actually. I feel a bit lonely sometimes. Ah well, it'll all change when we move I expect.

Mari, you're just mad as a hatter lol!!

Jo, fingers crossed with you mortgage!!

Summer, nice to hear from you too. I can imagine you're really busy with your little boys.

Well, the Norwegian Invasion is over and everything back to normal. It was really nice to have all my family over. Freya's christening went really well too. She didn't cry once!! We were so proud. Everybody though she was beautiful and really well behaved... like her mum obviously.. Big Grin
James got a bit protective of her when all my family was here as everybody wanted to hold her, and his family don't really hold her much. I tried to explain they wont see her for another three months you have her everyday.. bless him!! I also think his family got a bit jealous of my family! HELLOO!!! They can see her as much as they like! It made me laugh tho when I took my brother and family up to see my mil and she even went down on the floor to play with Freya... she's never done that before!!

Been to the doc today as Freya has got sticky eyes. She's had it since she was born, but they've got a bit worse recently. Have got a cream to put on them.

Such a lovely day today and we've been outside lots.

I hope you are all ok. Will try and post a picture of Freya in her christening gown!

Take care
Love
Anita

Hi Everyone!!!!!
So great to have everyone back!! Just like the old days when we all used to skive off work and type pages every day!!! he he he...

Summer - great to hear from you - thanks for popping on and I hope you get more time to yourself soon. You must be exhausted by now!!!! Sounds like you have good help though with you Mum being around. Bless. Can't believe how different a story yours could have been - thank god you trusted your instincts!!

Jo - great to hear from you too. Fingers crossed for you on the mortgage front - what a mare! Moving is stressful enough without hassles and two wee ones to think of! was laughing at your "evil harness" comment!! It sure was!!!

Vicki - you do sound very happy! Was laughing at your clarification of a wonderful man "(DP)" who else???? he he he. am so excited for you even though like the others I can't think of anything worse at the moment than going through all that again!!!!! fingers crossed for you.

Loocy - glad you got your PC fixed it's great to have you back! love having loads to do during the day whilst off but I'm not sure about going back to work. glad you have managed to get the hours you want!!! Like Mari I am DREADING it and am trying to work out if I can afford to go back 3 days and in September rather than end of July. It's depressing to think that my 6 months is half gone!!! re: weight - I am not weighing myself (haven't been on the scales since about 4 months preggers) but am back in all my pre preggers clothes. I am totally pigging out though and need to curb it for when I stop BF. I can't believe how much it keeps the weight off!!!

Mari - you really do make me laugh - "have you been on the Calpol?" he he he...you are so funny. I am getting stressed about leaving Katie and going back to work too - she is getting ridiculoulsy clingy...(any suggestions anyone???) You are right though millions of women do it every day and we will get there too....sob.

Anita - family are funny aren't they - was laughing at your MIL getting on the floor to play with Freya when she doesn't normally !! Freya looks gorgeous!! Glad the Christening went well. I too have been trying to make you a member on MSN but keep getting that message too - its rubbish!! will keep trying though and I'm sure one of will get through eventually.

Well, as for us - K seems much happier since the evil harness came off. She still fusses though when DH feeds her (clingy) and HATES the bath. She loved it at first but then I tried her in the big bath and I have never seen such panic!!!!! she is back in the baby bath but is too big for it really. Going to try her in that but in the big bath to see if that helps. She just screams... any ideas? oh - I have had her in the big bath with me too but still not happy! She has also started to wake in the middle of the night again - for weeks she was going 8 or 9pm til 4 or 5 sometime 6am. Now it;s 8 or 9pm til 3am then 5.30am too. Any ideas??? The weaning lady is coming out tomorrow so might talk to her about it - could it be that she needs something more? She wakes, feeds and goes straight back down....

well, better as the Aprrentice is on in a mo.... have fun everyone.

Hello! Its late but I'm here Big Grin

Mari... I haven't had a period since before the boys were conceived either. I know you're not BF but even when I stopped with Daisy it took a good few months for my 1st AF to make an appearance.

Hey Tina.. glad Luca's tongue tie was sorted ok. It made a great deal of difference to Jake when his was done, but Tom's made an even bigger difference. His feeding (bottle and breast) improved drastically in a couple of days which is how we finally managed to stop his tube feeds in hospital. Up til then he just couldn't feed properly for himself.
Congrats on the place at uni!

Way to go Vicki! Hope the next babe is as good as Kaitlyn Big Grin All v exciting. Our new next door neighbours have a 13 month old and are expecting twins in June! Shes 26 weeks I think and saw her properly for the 1st time today. Was a little jealous of her bump I have to say, though when I thought about it properly I remembered how thoroughly knackered I was and how i couldn't wait for the preg to be over. Would quite like another little girl though so in a couple of years I think we may well try again. Would be nice to go through a relatively normal pregnancy again seeing as the last one was such a mare. Knowing my luck it'd be triplets though :
rolleyes:

Can't remember the last time I posted properly.
All fine and dandy here. Have got an appt finally for Tom's hernia (his inguinal one (in his groin)) on Friday. Thats just a clinic appt though... hopefully they'll schedule the op fairly quickly as the poor boy really suffers. His umbilical hernia has suddenly gone down a lot so I think thats healing on its own. Got a slight worry about something odd at the base of Tom's spine though... haven't rung his consultant as I thought I'd just show the Dr on Friday. Noticed weeks and weeks ago that he had 2 funny little marks just above his bottom either side of his spine, but didn't think anything of it. Then about 2 weeks ago I was cleaning up a particularly messy botty and rolled him on to his side to make sure i'd done a good job, and just down into his botty crease is a little hole. Theres no other way of describing it. A little hole thats deepish and in line with his spine.
So now I've decided hes got mild spina bifida. Haven't had any time at all to google the subject. Hoping its nothing to worry about!

Anyway... Tom Thumb was 6lbs 6oz a week ago. I take them to be weighed every Thurs, so hopefully hes put on a nice little lot this last week. Jake was 10lbs 10oz and seems like a giant tellytubby in comparison Big Grin Still BF Jake and Tom is breast fed then gets his special formula top up in the day, and just his formula at night (so dh can do it).
Am extremely jealous of you all talking about sleeping through!!! I could probably get Jake to with a little effort as he'll sometimes go 5 or 6 hrs at the start of the night, but we'll have to be feeding Tom right through for months to come to try and keep his weight gain up.
Don't have any real routine going here as Jake feeds every 3 hrs, and Tom every 4 but its not rigid and so each day starts off at different times and is easier or harder depending on whether dh is around to help with Tom's 1st feed of the day and to get Daisy dressed.
Had a night totally on my own last week... dh was away on the Tues and Weds. Was as I expected really... got a total of about 2.5 hrs sleep Frowner Roll Eyes Mad
Jake ends up in our bed at some point most nights but Tom is a good boy and settles much more easily in the cot (they share at the mo).

Am losing direction here. Must go back and try and read more posts.
Have put more pics on finally!
Going to at least try and read everyday and catch up with you all, so when I do post I know whats going on!

Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Laura we purchased a baby bath seat for Katie last week, Its wonderful! She loves the big bath as she feels much more secure. Its just a plastic semi reclined seat which sits in the bath, it also gives you two hands free to wash. I use it in both the baby bath and the big bath at the mo. Katie also hated big bath till got it, think its a feeling of being secure.
Katie also wakes mid morning but usually the dummy and re-wrap and shes back to sleep.
K wakes mostly because shes cold as has kicked wraps off I think.

Summer: fingers crossed that "hole" Toms got is nothing!
your pic in sig is beautiful! Love the hands on his shoulders, awwwwwwwwww

Well katie kept me awake from 4 am tossing and turning so ended up in spare bed with her to have her continue to do it anyway lol
Have no idea what her problem was..
AH well at least she only does that every now and then.

love to all

Hello, the gang's all here (Laura's right), it's great!

This'll be a long post as I've got a spare hour.

Anita - Freya's dress was gorgeous! Glad the christening went well. Hope her sticky eyes clear up Frowner Re: lonely - Have you thought about (or is there near you) a baby massage class? I'm gagging to go to one, I've had our name down for over six weeks and not a peep! I hoped to break into an inner sactum of mothers who do the coffee mornings you hear about so much Big Grin I'm lucky as I've a couple of friends who are off during the week and I go for lunches with them but I's still like to meet up with other new mums.

Loocy - re: weight - I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight give or take a couple of pounds. I think those are on my boobs, as I'm still a cup size larger than before! I'm not b/f so I thought they'd have gone back to norm by now... I put on 32 pounds in total. I've been to three post natal exercise classes - they help you find your 'centre core of stability' whatever the hell that is! Razzer I just wanted my jelly belly toned up Smiler

Laura - re: clingy - from really early on I made sure I let friends and family hold Alfie for quite long spells. Also as I'm not b/f I let friends/his gran give him the odd bottle too, so he's used to others. I know it's harder for you but what about expressing another bottle (as well as one dh does) for during the day and let your mum or sister give her that? I don't know how easy that'd be.
Also when Alfie was 5 weeks old dh and I went to the cinema (can't remember if I mentioned it or not) but it was more for us to get used to leaving him than being desperate to see a film. That too was why we did an overnight quite early too. I'm very aware I'm going to have to leave him in nursery so I want it to be as easy on him and me as I can when the time comes. Also friends all advised it's good to have some 'adult' time with each other as a baby is so all consuming - I have to agree.

Geez - that was a bit of a ramble! Sorry sounding like Marjory Proops! Big Grin Hope there was something useful in there.

Still Laura! - Re: waking in night - Are you still doing Gina Ford? Touchwood it's working a treat for me. I'm starting to wean Alfie off the 10pm bottle - so hopefully soon he should be going from 7 to 7. He currently does 10pm - 7am and if he wakes up I let him cry himself back to sleep which usually takes 5 minutes.
Also who is the weaning lady? And how did you get one?
