Hi was just hoping some of you could help me with a few recommendations on holidays abroad.

There will be me and dp my 15yr old daughter and our 18 month old daughter. (she'll be 2 in june)

I have been looking at some holiday sites but there are just so many to choose from and i would much rather go somewhere thats been recommended. We don't mind where we go as long as the weather is nice and warm. We didn't really want a long flight either as it's megans first time on a plane and she is a bad traveller at the best of times. We also have to bear in mind that we have a teenager and a baby and so have to make sure they are both entertained!! (not much to ask is it?? ha ha)

We are looking to go either april/may or leave it till september (because of GCSE's)

Anyway i would be most grateful for any suggestions you might have, thanks again. love mandi xxxxxxx

Hiya

Alcudia is supposed to be good for families, it might be worth taking a look into that. Lozzie from the Oct/Nov 06 thread went last year & enjoyed it.

I remember going as a kid & enjoyed it then. My sister & her husband went last year & said they didn't enjoy it at all but then again they have no kids & said it was all families with kids where they were staying.

I think its only a 2hr flight isn't it?

hiya mandi

i used to work in alcudia a couple of years ago (it's were i met DF actually!) and would really reccomend it for both your older daughter and megan.

it has a beach very close by, lots of nightlife and most hotels have lots of activities on for children of all ages. the flight is about 2 1/2 hours and the weather should be fine in both may and sept but not scorching and since it's out of school hols you should get it for a decent price.

hope this helps.

love
