i have notice that while my nine week old son feeds (on the breast) the milk has started coming from his nose, and althought he has not been a sicky baby he has spit up a few times and after it happens he wants to carry on feeding, i dont think it is colic or reflux but i guess i cant be sure, does anyone have any other ideas as to what is happening?

Hi Kell, our son had milk come out of his nose occasionally when he was drinking a little too greedily and sometimes he would splutter a bit. But if your little one spits up a lot it maybe something else. My friends baby had reflux and she vomitted for a good hour after her milk and believe me it went across the room with force. She travelled everywhere with a large blanket to cover the floor when she had to feed the baby.
This got better once the baby was on solids.
