I'm looking to buy a smaller folding pushchair/stroller just for days out so it's easier to fit in the car - does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune because I will be using Ben's usual pushchair for when we are at home & walking anywhere. I've been looking on the Mothercare website but can't for the life of me decide which i like or which is any good!

Any advice is much appreciated!

Michelle,

Glad you started this thread as I am after the same thing! Need more room in my boot. My son is big boy and I do have a Chicco stroller which is too small for him really.

I did try a few out in Mamas and Papas and Mothercare but none really enticed me to buy, I don't really want to spend more than £60/£70. I'm tempted by this one as it comes with a free footmuff; http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/BruHome/BruTravel...rs/741809?ref=Search

Does anyone else have it?

Thanks!

Not sure if it'll be any good. You get the footmuff, raincover & parasol with it aswell & its half price - anyone got any reviews?

Hiya Kathryn!

I've been looking at them but I think I've decided on this one now:

I've sent OH an email at work saying I might order it now - he'll be having a right old fanny fit - haha!

I rang the local shop & they have put one aside for me to pick up tomorrow - so I have until then to convince OH & if not I'll get one online anyway!

I forgot to ask if they had any footmuffs in store aswell but thats not urgent, if not I'll order one online!

Thanks Kelly. I went to my local Toys R Us to have a look and bought the Bruin I love my bear buggy. It looked better than the other one and it extended at the bottom so Connor's little legs won't dangle off the edge! It also lies practically flat and is much sturdier than some of the others I've looked at.

I did laugh when I read about your husband's fanny fit Michelle...LOL men are all the same! I just buy these things then ask my DP for half. He doesn't have to give it to me if he doesn't want to, but it's in his best interests that he does Wink

thats why we went for it emma,we were going go for the zen(black) buggy.but a lovely assistant told us we might as well buy the cheaper one with blue swirls as it was just that sprused up with a coseytoes and parasol so thats why we got the i love my bear buggy.
i do agree tho the lie flat seat and calf support is gr8,i just dont like the raincover but hay ho cant have everything i suppose lol,
oh and the colour can get a little grubby in the boot,

Welllll I am a bit annoyed with OH - he had a fanny fit alright!

He went to Mothercare to pick up the pushchair for me after work, decided HE didn't like it (not that he ever uses it, maybe once in a bluemoon) & HE didn't like the way the seat reclined or the handles didn't adjust for HIS height so HE decided not to buy it/pick it up! I've told him we are going back tomorrow so i can have a look & I will get the one I want NOT him.

I had already ordered the footmuff & changing bag so i had to cancel that order. They took the money out of my bank straight away so the order was being processed & they apparently can't cancel it so now I have to wait for the goods to arrive & then return them - what a bloody faf on!!

Bloody men are so annoying & selfish sometimes it gets on my tits!

Mothercare here we come tomorrow & OH better have his wallet ready or he won't know whats bloody hit him!
