Hi sorry ive been awol still away with rellies atm but will be back to regulary posting come Sept 2nd when everyone is back at work and school.

Also big news here i'm ttc again(omg!!)Just want one more and want to try asap as you all know the trouble i've had over the last 3 years and we've spoken to our consultant and he has agreed that its safe to do so. Also been reading about age gaps and apparently the best gap for no jealousy is either less than a year or over 4 years so if i fall soonish hopefully i'll be text book lol! Probably a load of rubbish but hey.

Also its been a reality check going from a 5 yr old to a newborn so i think i'd rather get the nappy days over together instead of having Romy all grown up and then starting over again.

Hope you are all well spk soon x

Married for 6 1/2 yrs to my gorgeous dh, 2 wonderful ds's, mummy of angels

HELLO EVERYONE!!!
Woo-hoo!! how cool is this!! Big Grin

Great stuff kate, we are finally here!

well just wanted to show my face lol!!
mason bit unsettled since i went to work, his milk is seriously messed up and he is trying to regulate it..wondering whether going to work is worth it, i hate seeing him like this, hes so grumpy..

any other mums that have gone bk to work and sucessfully expressed at this age, advice would be greatly apprieciated(sp?)
probably no one is stoopid enough to go bk this early anyhow, i dunno what to do, struggle on or let my friend down? idea's girls?

on a brighter note, starting to feel much brighter and myself.. feel like the black cloud is lifting! (vibes please to make it stay away!!)

gotta go he is not happy at all... typical moaning man lol!!

hope you are all ok, be back asap for personals.. xx

Hi all, wow, we have a parenting thread! And a chart full of babies! (thanks Kate!)

Well just a quickie from me - which is what our Babyno5 will be having lots of now LOL Wink You go girl! I'd like to have another baby really soon but I don't know if I'd have a job to go back to if I did that!

Lol Amy at your virginity growing back! I must admit, about two weeks ago I had a few saucy thoughts (before the sleep deprivation kicked in with a vengeance!) but then I thought, leaky boobs, flabby tummy, stitches (not just the perineum either!) - who was I kidding?!

Angel - you sound much chirpier, is that something to do with the work? If so then hopefully Mason will regulate himself with teh feeding and you can carry it on.

Well, I'm okay today, Carys has had two better nights - not great but better, it makes you feel so much more human doesn't it?

xx

hi all!

can i ask those who are bottle feeding how are you preparing your feeds? are you preparing in advance if so how many bottles are you making at a time?
and are you measuring out the water then adding formula when the feed is needed or making up the complete feed?

at the mo i am breast feeding and topping oscar up with sma. going by the tin they say boil kettle let cool for half hour then make feed when needed, but that half hour is a long time to keep a hungry baby waiting lol so i have been preparing mine in advance 3 bottles a time, by measuring out water then adding formula when needed.
midwifes all tell you different things, would appreciate to know how you guys are preparing your feeds...

hope every1 is well xxx

Hi ladies, just popping on while I've got 5 mins to myself. Imogen is napping and DH has taken Ben to the shop to get dinner in.

Pobs, I'm sorry things are still tough for you. Hopefully you are turning a corner now that Scarlett is on formula.

Sezzy, glad you have had some better nights with Carys, makes such a difference doesn't it.

Paula, I'm just trying to remember what I did when Ben had bottles. Think I made bottles of boiled water each night before bed for the following day and made each bottle up as I needed it. Would heat the bottles up before adding the formula by standing them in a jug of hot water. Eventually I used the microwave for 30 secs. Oh and Imogen was born at 1.05am after a very quick labour.

Wow babyno.5 good luck with the ttc hun. how are things going with Roman?

Angel, so glad you are feeling better in yourself. Sorry Mason's milk had got a little messed up, hopefully it will sort itself out soon.

Well after a week of great sleeping imogen was up most the night but I successfully co-slept/fed her from 6.30-10.30 this morning so am feeling human. Still feel a bit iffy about doing it but needs must and she was fine. Got the cellular blanket out ready incase she's bad tonight. Think its partly my fault as we went to the pub yest afternoon and I think the fresh air made her all sleepy as she slept from 6 until I woke her at 9.30 for a feed, probably shouldn't have let her sleep so long. We live and learn eh!

Right better go as she's woken with hiccups. Hi to everyone else x x x

Hi girls. Big Grin
I'm waiting for my Indian to arrive so popped on to check up on everyone.
All is very good in our house, just bathed Ciaran so he smells gorgeous! Big Grin

Angel- God knows how you have gone back to work so early it takes me half hour just to get out the door when i want to go out let alone going out to work.
I really think you need to be a bit selfish though and think about what is best for you and Mason.
If you are finding it a bit much i would cut down and stay home.
The way i look at it i would rather have no money and all the time in the world with Ciaran as i will never get this time again with him.

Sezzy- Glad you are well.
On the bd thing it is my dh that has the serious horn!
You would think after seeing a baby coming out of me he would go off it abit but he is on the case more than ever.
I said just think about 9 months he was begging me not to make him do it again!
Oh how the tables are turned. Big Grin

Pobs- Sorry you are down but don't be silly about dragging us down. Frowner
You could not drag me down at all at the moment.
I am so happy at the moment and would love help get you feeling better.
I know i am very lucky to have a chilled baby and i totally see how having more than 1 to take care of must be absolutely draining.
Even just having 1 that doesn't sleep well can take it's toll.
So don't be worrying about bringing anyone down this thread is not just about being all happy and only telling us about the good things.
I think we are here for each other through down times too. Smiler
You never know you might have to cheer me up one day!

Paula- I always make up Ciaran's bottles in the morning and evening.
There is no way you can make up a feed with a waiting time of 1/2 hour.
Ciaran would be climbing the walls by then and it is just cruel to leave them that long.
I make up all the days feeds in the morning and all the night feeds in the evening.
Have you seen the separators thingys that you can get.
I have loads.
You make up the water and put the powder in a holder which sits in the bottle then you just mix it together when you need it.
They are brill that way you don't have milk made up for hours.

Anyway off to have a chicken tikka masala.
I used to hate Indian food but being pregnant has made me see the light in a big way!
Love top everyone. Big Grin
Amy and Ciaran. xxxxxxxxx
